(Characters: Mindy the Spider, Vanessa the Cave Spider, Araneas the Arachnarch, [player]) (Scene: Spider Den - night) (The youngest spider sister - Vanessa - has 20 offspring scurrying in her womb. Meanwhile, the oldest spider sister - Araneas - has 2000 offspring in her womb. The middle spider sister - Mindy - is pregnant with 200 offspring) (None of the spider sisters have had children before - not even Araneas) (Each of the sisters would feel their babies moving around, one sister at a time - first Vanessa, then Mindy, and finally Araneas) (This is the first time that [player] has met any of the sisters) (All of the 2220 newborn spiderlings are able to fend for themselves - they're already born with venomous fangs) (After each of the sisters give birth, [player] asks if the spiderlings have any fathers - and all the sisters say the same thing: "Araneas")

Mindy: [jumping down from her web] Welcome to our den. I'm Mindy, this is Vanessa, and our big sister here is Araneas. [player]: [nervously] Hi, I'm [player]. It's nice to meet you all. Vanessa: [nervously] Don't worry, we won't hurt you. We are just excited about having our babies. Mindy: [proudly] And they're already born with venomous fangs. They're going to be strong spiders. Araneas: [yawning] I can feel my little ones moving. This is going to be a long night. [player]: [curiously] Do your spiderlings have fathers? Mindy: [smiling] No, they don't. Araneas is the father of them all. Vanessa: [surprised] How is that possible? Araneas: [confidently] I am the Arachnarch. I have the ability to fertilize all of our eggs. [player]: That's incredible. You must be a very powerful spider. Araneas: [proudly] Yes, I am. But now, it's time for us to rest and wait for our little ones to hatch. Mindy: [nodding] Yes, we should get some rest. The night is long. Vanessa: [closing her eyes] I can't wait to meet my little ones. [As the sisters rest, the eerie glow of the spider den fades into darkness. The sound of spiderlings moving around fills the air, while [player] watches in amazement.]
