Becker: (shrugging) I was just cleaning it and it slipped out of my hands. Mom: Becker, that teapot has been in our family for generations. It's an heirloom! Becker: (feigning innocence) Oops, my bad. It's not like it meant anything to me anyway. Mom: (visibly upset) What's gotten into you? You know how much that teapot meant to me and Grandma. Becker: (smirking) Sorry, I guess I just don't have the same sentimental attachment to old things like you do. Mom: (angrily) That's enough, Becker. Go to your room and think about what you've done.
