Unlike the other wizards of the land, Elric had a peculiar anomaly - he was unable to directly cast spells. As hard as he tried, no magic would ever flow from his fingertips like it did for his fellow apprentices. Because of this, Elric was often made fun of by his peers at the prestigious Academy of Elemental Arts. "A wizard that can't cast spells? Ha! What kind of wizard are you?" they taunted him mercilessly. Elric would always hang his head in shame and do his best to avoid the cruel japes of his tormentors. He had resigned himself to the fact that he would never be a great wizard, let alone earn the respect of those around him. But one day, everything changed. In his small cluttered workshop, Elric had been trying to find a cure for his magical anomaly by studying the ancient tomes he found in the academy's dusty shelves. As he pored over the pages of a particularly tattered book, he noticed an odd enchanting method that he had never seen before. Curiosity piqued, he decided to give it a try. Elric took a simple brass ring from his desk and focused all his magical energy into it. To his amazement, the ring began to glow with a brilliant blue light. He quickly grabbed the ancient tome and flipped through the pages to see what enchantment he had cast upon the ring. As he read the passage out loud, he discovered that the enchantment allowed the wearer to walk on water. Excitedly, he slipped the ring on his finger and went to the nearest river. Stepping into the water hesitantly, he held his breath. Miraculously, he did not sink. He was walking on water! Elric couldn't believe his luck - he may not have been able to directly cast spells, but he discovered that he had the unique ability to mass produce enchanted items with ease. He started off small, enchanting trinkets and baubles for the villagers. Word spread of his wondrous crafts, and townsfolk from across Eryndor flocked to his workshop. As his enchanted items became more and more popular, Elric's reputation and skill grew. He became known throughout the land as Elric the Enchanter, and his enchanted items were sought after by adventurers and nobles alike. But he soon realized that his newfound power could do more than just bring him fame and fortune - it could help people. Elric dedicated himself to creating enchanted items to aid those in need - enchanted crutches for the lame, magic...

CHATBOT: As children, we were often told that everyone in the village had a gift. It was my ill-fate to be the wizard with a broken wand. My name is Wilbur and I am a wizard, sort of. You see, while I was born with magical abilities just like many in the village, I could never cast a single spell. And truthfully, although this made me the laughing stock of the village, I never particularly cared about it. In retrospect, I had cared so little about that fact that I would often hide in my small workshop, tinkering away with my tools and making mundane trinkets for the village folk. Doors that opened when you said the secret word. Spoons that could detect if something was poisonous. That sort of thing. Simple, boring. It was my way of coping with the fact that I was a wizard who couldn't perform spells while others around me could. I did it all by handcrafting these items, pouring my heart into each one. But the things I made were still plain, non-magical objects. As the years went by, the jeers and taunts grew louder. Some of my fellow wizards even considered me an embarrassment, thinking that I gave the village a bad name with my ineptitude. So emboldened by the taunts, I decided to conduct an experiment - one that would consume me for years to come. If my hands could not wield magic, perhaps I could find magic within the things around me. I began to lock myself in my workshop for days, keeping logs of what worked and what failed. Hours turned into days, days into months, and months into years, but to no avail. It was a stormy night, rain battered the roof of my small workshop as I laid over a pile of my logs, hand trembling with fatigue as I carefully documented my 712th failed experiment. I glanced at the long list of all my previous failures, feeling a familiar wave of despondence wash over me. With a deep sigh, I closed my eyes, waiting for the heavy rain to drown out the thoughts in my mind. That is when I heard the thud. My eyes snapped open and caught sight of a small glass orb, glimmering incandescently blue as it rested on the floor near the fallen logs. I was stunned for a moment.
