An IP address relates to the location of a user's computer or device, and a single person may have multiple IP addresses if they use different locations or networks. These IP addresses are grouped because the average embedding of each IP address's first turns (computed with all-MiniLM-L6-v2 sentence-transformer) has cosine similarity ≥ 0.85 and they share the same state (Guangdong). Groups are merged transitively—if A matches B and B matches C, all three are grouped even if A and C are below 0.85.

USER: Think a title for:It took a minute for her words to sink in. "My help?" She smiled ruefully and gestured to the front of her dress. For the first time, I noticed the damp brown stain that looked like coffee. "I...ah...had a little accident with the coffeemaker." "Oh." I said, nodding slowly, not quite sure what that had to do with needing my help. "Um...would you like to clean up here?" There were two perfectly fine bathrooms downstairs, so her standing here was still a mystery. Nevertheless, I stepped aside to let her come into my room, trying not to inhale the scent of her perfume because I didn't trust my stomach not to revolt again. I didn't want to end up with my head buried in the toilet bowl for the third time today. "Thank you," Elisa breezed past me, her eyes scanning over the room. I shut the door and turned to watch her, feeling slightly self conscious at how untidy my room was due to my packing. "The bathroom's that way." I pointed towards the door of the bathroom and moved to the bed to carry on stuffing things in my open suitcase. "There's a bathrobe in there, you can change out of your stained clothes and I'll run a quick wash in the washing machine for you. Your clothes should be dry in an hour at most." "I don't think it'll be easy to get this stain out." Elisa rubbed a hand over the damp stain with a grimace. When I looked at her in askance, she added. "It's a Joan Ruben, machine wash is definitely not recommended for this kind of fabric." "Oh..." I didn't k...
CHATBOT: Stains, Shirts, and Secrets: A Funeral Journey
USER: Think a title for :"Aiden!" Stella Brown's smile lit up the entire foyer as she approached our group. "You're here." "Gran, how are you?" Aiden pulled his grandmother into a hug, a genuine pleased smile on his face and not for the first time, I was struck by how much that smile transformed his features. Somber, he had that cold, detached handsomeness that was a staple in romance books, but when he smiled... His face was so indescribably beautiful. His eyes would light up, enhancing those ice blue pupils in a way that would make every woman sit up and pay attention. It was a pity he didn't smile often. However, with one glance around the room that was currently filled with guests, the ladies in the room, single or partnered, old or young, who were gawking at him with open admiration and longing glances, perhaps it was a blessing in disguise. My own heart wasn't spared either. "Hanging in there." Stella replied, her eyes roved over him. "You look like you've lost some weight. Haven't you been eating well?" She glanced my way as she spoke and I didn't miss the mild accusation. Feeling awkward, I looked down at my feet, my face heating up in embarrassment even though her fault finding was misplaced since her precious grandson never let me cook for him. What was I supposed to do then? Force feed him? I was likely to get a scathing rebuke for my troubles. "I'm fine, gran." Aiden reassured her with a chuckle. With a gentle arm around her shoulders, he steered her towards Vincent and...
CHATBOT: The Comfort of Friendship and the Sting of Betrayal

USER: Thinkthink a title for:It took a minutefor:Amiri only shook his head. "You should really go upstairs to check out Grandma," Theo said. Mommy was still waiting in the garage. Amiri walked upstairs. Cameron followed his steps, but Theo stopped him by pulling at the hem of his shirt. "Any problem?" "Would you do me a favor, Uncle?" "What is it? And why should I help you?" Cameron pulled a straight face deliberately. He thought for a pause, "If you'd like to help, I'll do another thing for you. Sounds fair?" A big smile broke Cameron's face, "Sure, no problem." ... Cameron walked to the garage, mumbling to himself, "Nova is such a smart boy." He knew Nova did this because Amiri had been an asshole to Madam Ruth. He still remembered Amiri had abandoned that poor woman in the garden for no reason. Cameron thought Nova was doing the right thing this time. He'd love to help the boy. Amiri went to Kate's bedroom, the old woman couldn't stop complaining, "Why did you come up so late? You don't even care about me as much as your son. Nova invited a world-class doctor for me this time." Amiri frowned, "A world-class doctor? Who?" "Madam Ruth, of course," the old woman said. Madam Ruth? Angelique Wilson? Nova invited that woman to treat his mother. Why? What was her purpose for coming here? Multiple questions emerged in Amiri's head. He couldn't listen to anything Kate said, "Where's the doctor now?" "She's gone downstairs a while ago. You didn't see her when you came up? I thought she was nice so I asked you to come upstairs. I didn't expect you to talk with your father." She had left? He stormed out of the room before Kate could finish. "Amiri, Where are you going?" Kate frowned as she called out behind her son. He didn't even look back. He didn't see Nova or Cameron downstairs, so he called Cameron directly. Cameron hesitated for a pause before he picked up the phone, "Any problem, Amiri?" "Where's Madam Ruth?" "Why... Why would I know?" "Bring her back to the mansion in five minutes or I'll kick you out of the country." "Bu-but I just came back", Cameron whined. Angelique heard Cameron's voice and she was so ready to go, "You're finally here. Can we leave now?" Cameron was a bit awkward as he stared at her. He didn't have the heart to tell her the truth, she seemed like she couldn't wait to leave. But if he didn't bring her back, Amiri would probably skin him alive. Cameron had no choice but to sacrifice Angelique "Ma-Madam Ruh, do you mind going back to the living hall right now?" What? "The living hall? I thought we were gonna leave", Angelique's eyes were as wide as saucers. She thought she had heard it wrong. "Yeah, I bet Nova told you that. But this is an emergency," Cameron forced out a smile, "You need to go back to the living hall right now." "Emergency? What emergency?" She was dumbfounded. But the next second, a thought popped into her mind all of a sudden. Amiri, he has found out I am here? No way, that man will certainly make me pay for the intrusion. Should I just tell him the truth that I am here to cure his mom? But will that jerk believe me? He will probably think I have an evil intention again. What will he do to me when he finds out? SHHH! When could this bastard be less of a jerk?! Why am I so unlucky? Angelique sighed and strode toward the hall. Cameron could only sigh, "Miss Wilson I wish I could help you but Amiri is basically a Godzilla spitting fire when he's officially pissed off." When she stepped inside the living hall, she saw Amiri sitting on the couch, cold eyes as hard as stone, and her breath caught in her chest. She repeated to herself that she needed to stay calm, she was there to make her patient feel better. She was not doing anything wrong. "Madam Ruth, what a lovely coincidence," Chase's voice was dripping with sarcasm. He knew this woman must be hiding something. Angelique could only play dumb as she smiled, "Coincidence? Probably yes, but you don't seem pleased to see me, Mr. Lee" "There're countless patients to heal in this city, Wilson. Why did you pick my mother?" Why? Because I can do whatever I want to do! She scorned inwardly. Besides, Theo had said the old lady gave him money. She didn't want to owe anyone anything. When could this bastard be less self-obsessed? But Lola didn't dare to say any of the reasons out loud., she simply rolled her eyes. "You're so silent, Wilson. Can I take your silence as a yes? Do you have a plan to come here?" Angelique huffed. At this moment, however, Theo came into the hall. Kate also came downstairs, bringing Amiri's father, Edward. Why did they have to show up at the same time? Had they discussed this? Angelique was a bit nervous. Would Amiri make it awkward for her words to sink in. "My help?" She smiled ruefully and gestured to thein front of her dress. For the first time, I noticed the damp brown staineveryone? The nervous look on Angelique's face only made him think that looked like coffee. "I...ah...had a little accident with the coffeemaker." "Oh." I said, nodding slowly, not quite sureshe was nervous about what thatshe had to do with needing my help. "Um...would you like to clean up here?" There were two perfectly fine bathrooms downstairs, done. "Madam Ruth, your treatment worked so her standing here was still a mystery. I shut the door and turned to watch her, feeling slightly self consciousfast. You're so good at how untidy my room was due to my packing. "The bathroom's that way." I pointed towards the door of the bathroom and moved to the bed to carry on stuffing thingshealing people, I can barely feel any pain in my open suitcase. "There's a bathrobehip", Kate couldn't help but compliment the girl. Angelique only smiled, "I'm glad it worked." Amiri sniffed coldly, "Mom, you're only half right. Not only Madam Ruth knows how to heal people, but also she's good at manipulating people." Angelique went speechless. Was he telling everyone that she was a liar? Why couldn't this asshole just leave her alone? Cameron was also a bit awkward, rubbing his nose subconsciously. How could Amiri just say that of Angelique in there, youfront of everyone? He barely had any evidence. Cameron secretly wished Angelique could retaliate and teach his arrogant brother a lesson. Kate was confused. Why would Amiri be so mean to a woman? He had never treated any women this way before. Theo wanted to say something to help his mom, but she suddenly smiled, "You're flattering me, Mr. Lee. You're the most successful businessman in this city, no one can change out of your stained clothes and I'll run a quick wash in the washing machine for you. Your clothes should be dry in an hour at most." "Ibetter than you when it comes to manipulating people." Edward was a bit stunned. He had never seen any women who were bold enough to talk back to his son, this woman seemed like she had some backbones. Amiri didn't expect to hear that from her, he held the woman before him with those cold light brown eyes as if he wanted to eat her alive, "Manipulating is just one thing, Wilson. Why do you have to lie all the time?" She stood straighter, "Doctors have to lie white lies sometimes, so they can make their patients better. I don't think it'll be easy to get this stain out." Elisa rubbed a hand over the damp stain with a grimace. When I looked atyou accusing me despite my good intention is the right thing to do, Mr. Lee." Despite her in askance, she added. "It's a Joan Ruben, machine wash is definitely not recommended for this kind of fabric." "Oh..." I didn't know much about high end fashion, preferring to get clothesattention? So she was saying that I didn't have to worry about ruining and I was comfortable in, but I recognised the name of the designer she'd mentioned and knewshe had good intentions? A mocking smile showed up on his lips. This woman had abandoned her child, was that their stuff didn't come cheap. "Well, then..." "You're a size ten?"also a good intention? She gave me a onceover, taking in my proportions while I tried not to squirm under the critical gaze. Then I checked myself, wondering why I let her get to me. I straightened and met her gaze steadily, already guessing where this was heading and not sure I liked it. "Twelve." I replied, reaching for the last pair of my underwear and stuffing it in my suitcase. "Elisa, I'm not sure I have any clotheswas shameless, this woman was shameless. Angelique only smiled as she saw that might fit you, certainly not designer ones." I had also left single digit sizes behind since my sixteenth birthday when I had a growth sprout and moved seemingly overnight from a size eight to a ten and I had never gone down since then. Plus, Elisa was a svelte size four, so there was no chance in hell any of my clothes wouldn't hand off her like a "It's fine,"look on Amiri's face. She assured me with a laugh, twirling one strand of perfect honey blonde hair. "I just need a shirt, luckily the jacket and skirt are fine. I can work with a shirt your size. Aiden offered me one of his shirts, but I can't possibly wear any of his, they're way too big." Of course he did. I pursed my lips in disapproval and looked away, not wanting her to see my emotion. Idly, I wondered if she had ever worn any of Aiden's shirts before and almost threw up again at the mental image of Elisa, barefoot, hair mused, dressed in nothing but Aiden's shirt, being held in his arms while they.... Stop torturing yourself. I scolded my mind and forced those images away, hating the bad aftertaste it left in my heart. I waved vaguely towards my walk-in closet. "Sure, help yourself." "Thanks, I'll be sure to be careful with it." She gave me a grateful smile and wandered over to the closet to start looking through my clothes while I returned to my packing, this time too distracted to pay much attention to what I was shoving in there. "The turnout for the funeral will be impressive, I'm sure." Elisa said, trying to make idle conversation. "Afterall, Mr. Brown was a well known and highly respected figure in our society, a lot of people will be there to pay their respects." "Yes, that's likely." I replied reluctantly. The last I wanted was to carry out idle chitchat, not when there were so many things weighing heavily on my mind. Done with packing, I looked around for my purse, then remembered it was in the closet. For some reason, Elisa had suddenly gone quiet. Curious, I walked inside, wondering if she had found a shirt. She had her back to me, head bent, looking at something in her hand. "Did you find something to wear?" I asked. She started and whipped around, her face unusually pale. "Uhhh....what?" "A shirt. Did you find a suitable shirt?" "Oh..." She looked flustered for a moment as though she'd forgotten why she was in my closet. She looked around, and picked up a pale pink shirt, and held it up with a bright smile. "Yes, yes. I think this will fit just fine." I nodded, then gestured to my purse which was sitting on the shelf behind her. "Could you pass me that black purse, please?" "Of course," her laugh sounded so high and strained that I wondered what the hell had gotten into her. She handed me the purse and brushed past me with quick steps. "I'll just go change, I'm sure the guys must be ready to set out by now." I watched her hurry towards the door, but then she paused and turned around. "Thanks for the shirt, I'll be sure to get it back to you in one piece." "Yeah, no problem." ************** The hour long trip to Skye Manor passed in relative silence, the only conversation in the car was between Aiden and Vincent and mostly revolved around business, Elisa was uncharacteristically silent, staring out the window with a faraway expression. I leaned back against the headrest, nausea playing in my stomach from motion sickness and I spent the trip with my eyes closed, praying I wouldn't haul all over the pristine leather seats. To distract myself, I listened to an audiobook on my phone and nibbled on some saltine crackers, ignoring the look of disapproval on Aiden's face at eating in the car. Mercifully, we were soon turning into the long driveway of the Manor, and I sat up to watch the passing scenery, nostalgic at the familiar and comforting sight of the tall cypress trees that lined each side of the gravel drive, the glimpses of well tended flower gardens and just over the small hill to the west, was Lake Maria, named after Julian's first wife and Aiden's mother. A whimsical smile played on my face as I recalled many a happy memory in my teens spent running and messing around the banks of that lake, I would spend my evenings daydreaming about Aiden, imagining him holding me in his arms, kissing me, reassuring me that I would always be the only woman he would ever love. How naive. I looked away from the glistening water, unable to stomach how foolish my dreams had been. Cars lined the driveway, and a few early guests and family lingered outside, all dressed in somber clothing and I felt the sting of tears at the reminder of the reason we were here. Julian was truly gone. I would never hear his booming laugh, or see the twinklebe afraid of this man. What was he trying to do in his eyes as he rambled on about whatever had caught his interest. I would never feel the warmthfront of his comforting hugs again.everyone? Humiliate her? He would never meetget what he wanted. Angelique's eyes were challenging, engaging with Amiri's steady gaze. Theo couldn't help but feel proud of his grandchild. Tears slipped downmom he knew no one in this world could make Mom flinch. Cameron could only pray secretly for her, the way Chase looked right now was terrifying. He looked like he wanted to kill someone, but this Angelique chick was quite brave though. She seemed like she didn't remember what happened in the garden last time. Edward suddenly laughed, "Madam Ruth is right. Good intentions should never be questioned. I agree with her." "Thank you, Mr. Lee," Angelique nodded at the old man. Why couldn't Amiri be more like his father? When could he be a reasonable human being? Amiri was so pissed off, he felt he shouldn't have said anything to this woman at all. He thus decided to leave, walking out of the hall. When he stopped by Angelique's side, she flinched a little. What was he gonna do? Was he gonna get physical just because he couldn't reason with her? His lips parted, his voice low and threatening, "You'd better know the boundary, Wilslon or I'll make you pay." No one could hear his voice except her, she was a bit scared. He sounded like he could kill her. Before she could say anything, Amiri just walked away. Before he walked out of the house, Amiri suddenly asked "Nova" to go with him. Theo turned to look at Cameron. Cameron instantly said, "Nova and I are gonna go to the theme park this afternoon. We've made a deal." "You're really not gonna come with me, Nova?" Amiri frowned. Theo was a bit hesitant. Daddy looked so pissed off right. Would he get angrier if he refused to go? Kate noticed the look on the boy's face, "Just let Nova stay here. Cameron and I will take care of him. We'll send him back this afternoon." Kate's words always worked. Amiri left, but before he left, he told Nova to stay away from the "liar". By "liar", he was clearly talking about Angelique. She huffed, why wouldn't this bastard be a normal person? Kate was a bit confused. She couldn't help asking, "Madam Ruth, did anything happen between you and my cheeksson before?" Or why would Amiri be so hostile all the time? Did anything happen? Well, there was one night and I dug in my purse for a handkerchief. Finding one, I pulled it out, then frowned downfour babies happened But how should she ever say that? She could only shake her head, "I guess Amiri's only mad at the contents of my purse. A quick search confirmed that what I was looking for was not there anymore. The ultrasound picture was no longer in my purse.me because we had some misunderstandings when I tried to save Nova's life."

Kate thought for a pause, "Actually, we've always been worried even if you've cured Nova. We wish you could work as a caretaker in Amiri's house. I wonder if you will think offering the position to you is a bit offending." Angelique would love to take care of her boy so she agreed instantly, "Sure, I would love to be his caretaker." "This is great. I hope things between you and Amiri is basically a Godzilla spitting firewill also work out." Angelique only smiled, not saying a thing, her only wish was that Amiri Leecould leave her alone. She had no intention to build up a romantic relationship with that bastard, he looked like he wanted to kill her. Cameron seemed surprised, he thought she would turn his mom down, he never expected her to say yes. Try to get along with Chasee, wouldn't these two kill each other? Theo was happy about the outcome. He found a quiet corner afterward, calling Nova to tell him about the amazing news. Nova was glad as well, things turned out to be smoother than they thought. It seemed like Grandpa and Granny adored Mom. "Nova, we need to switch. Mommy will start to take care of you in the mansion tomorrow." "Switch? Where should we do it?" "I don't know yet but I'll call you this afternoon, cool?" "Cool." ** Cameron drove Theo out of the mansion after lunch. Theo asked him which theme park they were gonna go to, but Cameron was so mysterious about their location. Their car dashed on the highway, and Theo was a bit worried. If the location was too far away. Nova would probably not be able to make it on time. Cameron get out of the car when he's officially pissed off."they made it, a smug smile on his face, "Here. I bet you've never been here before." Theo stepped out of the car and saw the City Water Park. He had heard about this place a lot, his classmates all told him that this place was amazing. He had always wanted to come. He didn't expect Cameron to take him here, he hugged his legs, "You're the best uncle!" Cameron's eyes lit up hearing Theo's compliment. He carried the boy in his arms and kissed his cheek, "Let's go, soldier." Nova just became less annoying than before. Cameron would love to spend more time with his only nephew. Cameron almost ran all his way into the park, making everyone look. After they got their clothes changed, they played with floats and water guns. Theo loved swimming, this was probably the best place he'd ever been. Cameron couldn't stop smiling as he saw how happy Theo was. Soon, Theo remembered his mission today. He had played for a while, it should be Nova's turn, so he went to the bathroom and called Nova. After that, he continued having fun with Cameron while waiting for Nova. When she stepped inside the living hall, she saw Amiri sittinghe finally made it, Theo found an excuse and ran to the bathroom again to see his brother, "Here, Nova, put on the couch, cold eyes as hard as stone, and her breath caught in her chest. She repeated to herself that she needed to stay calm, she was there to make her patient feel better. She was not doing anything wrong. "Madam Ruth, what a lovely coincidence," Chase's voice was drippingmy water-proof robe." He frowned a little, but he still put it on. "Just go have some fun, I'm going back for Mommy." The twins said goodbye and hugged each other. Nova walked into the park, noticing Cameron was holding two water guns, laughing like a four-year-old. "What a moron", he commented, walking toward the man and staring at him with sarcasm. He knew this woman must be hiding something. Angelique couldblank eyes. "You're finally back, Nova. Let's start the battle!" "I want to go home," he only play dumb as she smiled, "Coincidence? Probably yes, but you don't seem pleased to see me, Mr. Lee" "There're countless patients to heal in this city, Wilson.snapped. Cameron thought he heard it wrong, frowning, "Huh?" Why did you pick my mother?" Why? Because I can do whatever I want to do! She scorned inwardly. Besides, Theo had said the old lady gave him money. She didn't want to owe anyone anything.Nova suddenly look so upset? Did anything happen to the boy? Cameron stood up, trying to check on his nephew, but he snatched his gun away, gushing water at his face. "Nova, what the heck?" Nova only attacked Cameron, not saying a thing. Cameron grabbed another gun and attacked back. However, Nova suddenly threw the gun at his face and ran away. "Ouch!" Cameron screamed as the gun hit his face, "Nova! Are you out of your mind?" When could this bastard be less self-obsessed? But Lola didn't dare to say any of the reasons out loud., she simply rolled her eyes. "You're so silent, Wilson. Can I take your silence as a yes? Do you have a plan to come here?" Angelique huffed.he opened his eyes again, however, Kevin was nowhere to find. "Nova! Nova!" Cameron shouted helplessly. At this moment, however, Theo came back because he forgot something. "What's wrong, Uncle?" "Gosh! Nova! Can you not run around? What if someone kidnaps you?" Theo nodded, "But why do you look like this, uncle? Did you fall into the hall. Katepool?" Fall into the pool? Cameron laughed coldly, "Why are you pretending? You did this to me, how could you throw that gun at me?" Theo thought for a pause. It must be Kevin. But where was he right now? "I'm sorry, Uncle. I was just messing with you. Please wait for a sec, I'll find you a towel." Finding a random excuse, Theo went to search for Nova. A couple of minutes later, Nova found a bigger boy to help him. They carried a larger water gun back, it was so heavy that it couldn't be carried by one boy. After securing it, they used it to attack Cameron. "Damn it! Who's doing this? Stop, it's not funny!" Cameron looked back and saw Nova, who was pressing the trigger of the water gun like crazy. Beams of water washed Cameron down from head to toe. "Cameron, do you like it?!" The boy yelled. Cameron? Not "uncle" anymore? Cameron wanted to kick his ass. The way the boy attacked him was not for playing. He meant to murder him, Nova didn't run away until he used up all his water bullets. Cameron was in the middle of the pool, looking like shit. "Uncle," a small voice made Cameron look. He turned around and saw "Nov" again, holding a stack of dry towels. "Uncle, here, dry yourself up." He almost drown him and now he offered him towels. He called him "Cameron" a couple of seconds ago and now he was calling him "uncle". What the heck was wrong with this boy? "Nova, how could you do this to me? Uncle has been nice to you, right? Bringing to the park and buying your snacks and everything, but look what you've done." Theo was also came downstairs, bringing Amiri's father, Edward.surprised. Why did Nova hate Cameron so much? "Nova, I'm warning. Don't you ever do that to me again!" Theo nodded, taking the wet towel from Cameron like a good boy. Soon, he saw Nova edging in their direction from this angle. He became extremely nervous, if Cameron saw two "Nova", they have towould be busted. No, he couldn't let him find out. Theo thought for a pause before he waved at Cameron. Cameron lowered his body confusingly, thinking the boy had something to tell him. But Theo left a kiss on his uncle's face with a "muah". After that, he smiled at Cameron widely, telling him that he needed to go to the bathroom. A few seconds later, someone suddenly pushed Cameron from behind. Cameron fell into the pool instantly. "Damn it!" Cameron stood up in the water, meeting Nova's challengingly eyes as he spat the pool water, "Is it funny?" The boy standing before him was serious and aloof, contrasting with the way he smiled at him a couple of minutes ago, something felt off. Nova just said that he needed to pee. He disappeared literally a couple of seconds ago. Why would he show up from here? Cameron stared at the same time? Had they discussed this? Angelique was a bit nervous. Would Amiri make it awkward for herNova's face as he thought of the two polar opposite attitudes the boy showed him, his heart couldn't stop thumping against his chest. Holy shit... What was happening right now? Was he illusional? Cameron rubbed his face. The towel "Nova" just brought him was sitting on the chair. This was not his illusion. Everything had really happened. When he looked up into Nova's eyes, his heart caught in front of everyone? The nervous look on Angelique's face only made him think that she was nervous about what she had done. "Madam Ruth, your treatment worked so fast. You're so good at healing people, I can barely feel any pain in my hip", Kate couldn't help but compliment the girl. Angelique only smiled, "I'm glad it worked." Amiri sniffed coldly, "Mom, you're only half right. Not only Madam Ruth knows how to heal people, but also she's good at manipulating people." Angelique went speechless.his throat. Was he telling everyone that she was a liar? Why couldn't this assholekid having some sort of mental disorder? "Nova, weren't you out there just leave her alone? Cameron was also a bit awkward, rubbing his nose subconsciously. How could Amiri just say that of Angelique in front of everyone? He barely had any evidence. Cameron secretly wished Angelique could retaliate and teach his arrogant brother a lesson. Kate was confused. Why would Amiri be so mean to a woman? He had never treated any women this way before. Theo wanted to say something to help his mom, but she suddenly smiled, "You're flattering me, Mr. Lee. You're the most successful businessman in this city, no one can be better than you when it comes to manipulating people." Edward was a bit stunned. I don't think you accusing me despite my good intention is the right thing to do, Mr. Lee." Despite her attention? So she was saying that she had good intentions? A mocking smile showed up on his lips. This woman had abandoned her child, was that also a good intention? She was shameless, this woman was shameless. Angelique only smiled as she saw that look on Amiri's face. She would never be afraid of this man. What was he trying to do in front of everyone? Humiliate her? He would never get what he wanted. Angelique's eyes were challenging, engaging with Amiri's steady gaze. Theo couldn't help but feel proud of his mom he knew no one in this world could make Mom flinch. She couldn't help asking, "Madam Ruth, did anything happen between you and my son before?" Or why would Amiri be so hostile all the time? Did anything happen? Well, there was one night and four babies happened But how should she ever say that? She could only shake her head, "I guess Amiri's only mad at me because we had some misunderstandings when I tried to save Nova's life."now?"

USER: Think a title for :Angelique was:"What's wrong with you?" Nova frowned as he saw the fear in Cameron's eyes. He was that scared? He thought this uncle of his was pretty adventurous, but it turned out he couldn't handle a little joke like this. "Boring, I'm going back." Nova cast Cameron a glance and walked out of the place. The boy had surely disappeared before his eye, but the next second, he had just shown up behind his back. Cameron knew what he had seen, it didn't feel right. Something must have gone wrong. Cameron felt a bit hesitantchilly as shehe occasionally sneaked glances at his nephew, his cold attitude was exactly like his dad's. Nova was different compared with the boy an hour ago. When they went back to the mansion, Nova went directly to his bedroom. Cameron met Amiri in the study room, acting mysteriously as he closed the door. Amiri frowned, "What do you want from me this time, Cameron?" "No, Amiri, listen. It's not me this time, it's about Nova." He was getting a bit impatient, "What about Nova?" "He was not stable, mentally. I think you need to bring him to a doctor." Amiri's face dropped, "Do you have a death wish, Cameron Lee?" "Sheesh, why would I ever lie to you? I'm telling the truth", Cameron repeated what happened in the park today to his brother. "It's real. He called me 'Cameron' and then he called me 'uncle'. He used a water gun to attack me and then he grabbed me a towel. He said he needed to pee, but when the door of the bathroom closed, he suddenly showed up behind my back. You don't even know how fast he can change his face, I'm serious." Amiri was a bit stunned, thinking back about Nova's way of acting recently, he also got a bit suspicious. The boy would hug him voluntarily and call him 'Daddy' sometimes, those things were just not what Nova would ever do. Could Cameron be right this time? "You also noticed, right? Just think about it." Amiri narrowed his eyes, things started to get fishy when that woman started to do treatments for his son. Nova was a different kid before that. Could all this be that woman's fault? "Are you having any clue right now? You should do a checkup for Nova though. If he needs to be brought to a doctor, it's better sooner than later." Amiri didn't respond. Cameron's shoulders slumped as he left the room, knowing Amiri probably wouldn't say anything anymore. Amiri still decided to check out Nova after a short consideration. Nova was playing with his iPad on his bed. He noticed that Amiri came in, but he only gave his dad a cold glance before lowering his head and focusing on his game again. "Did you have a good day today with your uncle?" Nova didn't even bother to look up, "It was pretty boring." Amiri frowned slightly, "What do you want to have for dinner tonight?" "I don't care," he shrugged. This had not been his attitude this morning, he decided to pay attention to the boy's behavior today. If there was something wrong with Nova, he would bring him to the doctor immediately. If it had anything to do with that woman, he would make her pay. ___ The next day, Amiri finished his breakfast quite early. He went to the living hall and grabbed a folder of reports, dealing with company business intensely. Suddenly, he heard the housekeeper's voice, "Madam Ruth, this way please." He looked up and saw Angelique walking into the house. "Good morning, Mr. Lee", she said coldly yet politely. He frowned, "Who allowed you to come in?" "Sir, Madam Ruth is sent here by your parents." Mom and Dad? Why would they send this woman here? She looked a bit deflated after Amiri had left, making Edward and Kate think she was probably lying. "What kind of misunderstanding then?" She only shook her head, saying she couldn't remember. Kate smiled, "Actually, you and Amiri share a lot of similarities. I have never seen him paying so much attention to any women before." Well, she prefer when Lee could leave her alone. "Maybe you guys will get along eventually. Why don't you try to spend more time with Amiri, Miss Wilson?" Edward suddenly asked. The question caught her off guard. She didn't expect Mr. Lee to share the same brain cell with his wife. Try to spend more time with Amiri Lee, she didn't want to get herself killed. Theo's eyes widened in surprise. He didn't expect things to unfold so smoothly, he thought his plan had been blown when Mommy and Daddy started to mock each other. This was a great opportunity, he must hold on tight to it. Theo approached Angelique, tugging at the hem of her dress, "Madam Ruth if you spend more time with Daddy, you can see Nova every day. I missed you. I wish I could see you all the time." Nova. Theo's words just reminded her. If she agreed, she could see Nova more. Kate noticed the wavering look on Lola's face, so she added, "Nova likes you so much. Just give Amiri a chance. We won't force you if things can't work out, he has been single forever. He barely dates any women. We're so worried about him." Angelique only smiled, "I also like Kevin but I wonder how are you gonna let me see the boy every day." Kate thought for a pause, "Actually, we've always been worried even if you've cured Nova. We wish you could work as a caretakersaw the doubt in Amiri's house. I wonder if you will think offering the position to you is a bit offending." Angelique would loveeyes, "Your mother hired me, Mr. Lee. I'm here to take care of herNova." Amiri shot up from the couch, staring at the woman as if she was some sort of pest. He knew she had a purpose in getting close to his mom. Was this what she wanted? "You used Nova to make my mother happy and now you used my mother to get close to Nove, good for you, Wilson." Angelique frowned, she had never thought that way. "No. I didn't expect that Mrs. Lee would like me. She sent me here to take care of Nova." "But you showed up in her house on purpose, this is just another plan of yours, isn't it?" "I...", she suddenly felt tired. This man wouldn't trust her anyway, it was unnecessary to explain anything to him. He could believe whatever he wanted to believe, he wouldn't believe her words anyway. "You don't know what to say? I bet you can't lie anymore, can you? Now, get out of my house." "Sir," the housekeeper suddenly said, "Your parents insist to let her stay." Amiri was even more pissed off hearing this, he grabbed the phone and called his mom. Kate's attitude was unwavering, "Find a woman and get married now or let Angelique stay to take care of Kevin. This is your choice, son." "I told you that I don't want to get married." "I know you don't need a wife, but Nova's young. He needs a mom. Do you really want that Mia to be Nova's mom?" Amiri still remembered what that woman had done to his son. He would never let that woman enter his house again. Thinking for a while, he finally compromised. Nova walked out of his bedroom. He smiled when he saw Angelique, grabbing her hand as he looked up at her, "Do you know how to make pizza?" She smiled as she nodded, her daughters asked her to make pizza every day, "What pizza do you want?" "Cheese and bacon." Angelique gave Amiri a look before she smiled at the boy again, "No problem, I'm making it for you right now." The mom and son walked toward the kitchen happily. Amiri's face fell as he stared at them. Nova didn't even want to talk to him, but he was smiling at this woman. It was unacceptable. Did she really think she could be Nova's mom? The housekeeper noticed the look on his face as he remained carefully, "Sir, it's time to go to the company." He huffed, "Keep an eye on this woman. I need to know everything she does." Before he walked out of the room, he added, "It's better to install some cameras in her place so she agreed instantly, "Sure, I can know what she's planning." The housekeeper's face went pale, "Sir, it's breaking the law. You can't install cameras in other people's homes." "Then install cameras in my home. I need as many cameras as possible in every corner, I need to know what she's doing when I'm away." Why was he wasting so much time on a woman? The housekeeper couldn't get it, he could only do as he was told. The pizza was freshly made, Nova took a bite, he loved it. "Have some more if you like it," Angelique put another slice on Nova's plate. Angelique smiled widely, he felt extremely content to be able to take care of her son. At noon, Kate suddenly called Angelique, the old woman told her about Amiri's favorite food. She was a bit speechless, she was not lazy. Amiri was just such a psycho, he would love to be his caretaker." "This is great. I hope things between you and Amiri will also work out." Angelique only smiled, not saying a thing, her only wish was that Amiri Leecould leave her alone.probably throw everything she made into a trash bin. She didn't want to waste any food, but it was Mrs. Lee's requirement. She had no intention to build up a romantic relationship with that bastard, he lookedchoice but to follow her instruction, she still wanted to keep this job so she could see her boy every day. She made the meal and left the house, she still needed to check on her three babies at noon. She left the house before Amiri came back. Before she left, however, she told the housekeeper, "If Mr. Lee refuses to eat the food, you guys should share it. I used high-quality ingredients, it's not okay to waste food." The housekeeper rearranged the plates to make them look tempting. He was sure Mr. Lee was gonna like he wanted to kill her. Cameron seemed surprised, he thought she would turn his mom down, heit, he had never expected her to say yes. Try to get alongAngelique to be an amazing cook. Amiri came back right after Angelique had left. He asked about Angelique's behaviors as he walked into the house. The housekeeper told him everything, but he refused to believe it. That woman wouldn't be nice. She must be planning something against him. When he finally got to the dining hall, he couldn't help frowning at the dishes on the table, "Have we changed our cook?" "No, Mrs. Lee sent someone here to cook for you, sir," Mr. Smith said calmly. Amiri took a seat by the table and started to eat. Those dishes were delicious, he ate more compared with Chasee, his usual appetite. Mr. Smith was happy as he noticed how Amiri loved those dishes. If Madam Ruth could stay, both Nova and Amiri would be happier. Mr. Smith just couldn't understand why Amiri hated Madam Ruth so much., that woman was a great doctor and cook. She was perfect. When Amiri put down his fork, Mr. Smith was still immersed in his own thoughts, "Have cameras been installed?" "Sure, Mr. Lee. Paul is always fast, we've got everything in place before 12." "Good." That woman was not simple, she must have some secret plans. He wouldn't these two kill each other?let her fool him this time, he couldn't wait to catch her red-handed. ------ The flush in the kitchen ceased as Angelique came to the living room. Theo was happy about the outcome. He found a quiet corner afterward, calling Nova to tell him about the amazing news. Nova was gladstudying something on his computer, Kinsley was practicing makeup skills before a mirror and Paisley was eating snacks happily. She couldn't help but smile as well, things turned out toshe looked at her three babies, "You guys be smoother than they thought. It seemed like Grandpa and Granny adoredgood at home. Mommy needs to go to work now." "Be safe, Mommy." "Have a great day, Mommy." "Good luck." "Sheesh, Paisley, you need to stop eating!" Kinsley exclaimed, "You're getting chubbier lately." "Okay, supermodel," she rolled her eyes. "Hey guys, don't fight and mind your own business," Angelique frowned. "Don't worry, Mom. "Nova, we need to switch. Mommy will start toI'll take care of you in the mansion tomorrow." "Switch? Where should we do it?" "I don't know yet but I'll call you this afternoon, cool?" USER: Thinkthink a title for:Angelique made it to the mansion on time. She wanted to play Legos with Nova, but Mrs. Lee suddenly came to visit, grabbing the girl's hand as she asked, "How's Amiri treating you?" She didn't feel comfortable, but she felt the old woman would be sad if she withdraw her hand, so she could only answer honestly, "He looked surprised when he saw me this morning." He even told her to get out, but she knew Mrs. Lee could probably guess it if she didn't say anything. So she continued, "I went back home at noon and he just went to his company. We didn't see each other." They didn't even see each other? "Then did you cook for :"What's wronghim?" "I did." "Did he eat the meal then? What did he say?" Lola only shook her head, "I'm not here, I don't know what did he say." Katensummoned the housekeeper. Mr. Smith complimented Lola's cooking skills. He even told Mrs. Lee that Amiri had had more today. "I didn't tell him the cook was Miss Wilson though or he would have thrown the food away." A huge smile broke Kate's face as she looked at Angelique, "I wonder what will he look like when he gets to know that you're the one who cooked him that meal? I bet he won't be that tough then." Angelique was amazed by Mrs. Lee. Was this woman trying to discipline her stubborn son this way? Mrs. Lee diverted her eyes toward her. She looked thrilled, "What else can you do except save people's lives, Miss Wilson? Can you work in the office?" The both of them didn't see each other every day enough, it's a bit slow. Mrs. Lee decided to spare no effort to make them see each other every day. She must make them get familiar with you?"each other as soon as possible. Angelique thought for a pause, "I can do translations." She had traveled to many different countries to save people and that made her multilingual. She was sure she could handle the job as an interpreter. "An interpreter? Good. This is good," Mrs. Lee nodded as she smiled. She brought Angelique to the strip mall and bought her a professional-looking suit dress. She couldn't handle Mrs. Lee's vigor. She was a bit scared by how enthusiastic this woman was when it came to finding a wife for her son. Novaq was also determined to help his grandma, "Mom, Dad's always trying to belittle you. It's your time to fight back." She didn't want to be a part of their plan, but what Nova frowned as he saw the fearsaid was tempting enough. She got changed into the suit dress under Nova and Kate's joint efforts. Walking out of the changing room, Angelique's heart was hammering against her chest. Going to the mansion this morning had already made Amiri hate her. She wondered what he would do if he found her standing in Cameron's eyes. He was that scared? He thought this unclethe lobby of his was pretty adventurous, but it turned out he couldn't handle a little joke like this. "Boring, I'm going back." Nova cast Cameron a glancecompany. She didn't even know how would that man treat her. Angelique took a deep breath and walked out of the place. The boychanging room. Nova instantly complimented her, saying she looked sharp in that dress. Mrs. Lee also looked at her from head to toe with a big smile on her face, "You look good, Angelique, it suits you." _____ Amiri just finished a meeting as he went back to his office. When he pushed open the door, he was completely stunned by the woman who stood in the middle of the room. Why was this woman everywhere? "Why are you here?" He asked in astonishment. He looked at her as if he was looking at a pest. Angelique rolled her eyes, not saying anything as she looked in the couch's direction. Amiri followed her eyes and saw Kate sitting there. "You're back, Amiri, I brought Angelique here." "Mom, this is my company. Why are you bringing this woman here?" "I think I overpaid her for being Nova's nanny. She needs to do more jobs so the money will be reasonable. From today, she's also your employee." She was his employee now? Amkiri gave that woman a stern look. Why was she trying to get close to him so desperately? Not only she had surely disappeared beforeinvaded his eye, house, but the next second, healso she was now working in his company. She was probably more desperate than Mia Perez, he wouldn't let her get what she wanted. "I don't want to hire a useless person, Mom," Amiri sniffed. Mrs. Lee had just shown up behindexpected that. She smiled at her son, "I've checked out the company website. You're in need of an interpreter, right? Angelique is suitable for that." Angelique? When did she drop the formality with this calculating woman? Besides, when did his back. Cameron knew what he had seen, itcompany need an interpreter? Why didn't feel right. Something must have gone wrong. Cameron felt a bit chilly as he occasionally sneaked glanceshe know? He called Paul immediately to make sure. Paul looked at his nephew, boss's terrifying face and then diverted his cold attitude was exactly likeeyes toward Mrs. Lee, who was smiling at him. He didn't dare to offend both of them. The young man thought for a pause before answering carefully, "Sir, Ben, our interpreter from the translation department, suddenly quit his dad's. Nova was different compared with the boy an hour ago. When they went back to the mansion, Nova went directly tojob two hours ago, saying that he didn't think he was suitable for the position. So, we do have a vacant position." Two hours ago? Amiri immediately guessed that it was probably his bedroom. Cameron met Amiri in the study room, acting mysteriously as he closed the door. Amiri frowned, mom's plan. She was always fast when it came to action, his mother had always been a smart woman. He wondered what Angelique did to manipulate his mom. He turned to stare at her, "What do you want?" His voice was cold and harsh. "She didn't want from meanything. I'm the one who forced her to work here." "Mom, I can't let her work here. This woman is not as innocent as she looks. You're fooled by her." "Really? If she was that dangerous, she would've poisoned you when she prepared your meal." He was confused by what Kate said, "She prepared my meal?" "She cooked those dishes for you this time, Cameron?" "No, Amiri, listen. It's not me this time, it's about Nova." He was getting a bit impatient, "What about Nova?" "He was not stable, mentally. I thinknoon. Mr. Smith said you need to bring him to a doctor." Amiri's face dropped, "Do you have a death wish, Cameron Lee?" "Sheesh, why would I ever lie to you? Ifenjoyed it had anything to do with that woman, he would make her pay. She saw the doubt in Amiri's eyes, "Your mother hired me, Mr. Lee. I'm here to take care of Nova." Amiri shot up from the couch, staring at the woman as if she was some sort of pest. He knew she had a purpose in getting close to his mom. Was this what she wanted? "You used Nova to make my mother happy and now you used my mother to get close to Nove, good for you, Wilson." Angelique frowned, she had never thought that way. "No. I didn't expect thatso much," Mrs. He smiled when he saw Angelique, grabbing her hand as he looked up at her, "Do you know how to make pizza?" She smiled as she nodded, her daughters asked her to make pizza every day, "What pizza do you want?" "Cheese and bacon." Angelique gave Amiri a look before she smiled at the boy again, "No problem, I'm making it for you right now." The mom and son walked toward the kitchen happily.her stubborn son. I need to know everything she does." Before he walked out of the room, he added, "It's better to install some cameras in her place so I can know what she's planning." The housekeeper's face went pale, "Sir, it's breaking the law. You can't install cameras in other people's homes." "Then install cameras in my home. I need as many cameras as possible in every corner, I need to know what she's doing when I'm away." Why was he wasting soremembered how much time on a woman? The housekeeper couldn't get it, he could only do as he was told. The pizza was freshly made, Nova took a bite, he loved it. "Have some more if you like it," Angelique put another slice on Nova's plate. Angelique smiled widely, he felt extremely content to be able to take care of her son. At noon, Kate suddenly called Angelique, the old woman told her about Amiri's favorite food. She was a bit speechless, she was not lazy. Amiri was just such a psycho, he would probably throw everything she made into a trash bin. She didn't want to waste any food, but it was Mrs. Lee's requirement. She had no choice but to follow her instruction, she still wanted to keep this job so she could see her boy every day. Lee was gonna like it, he had never expected Angelique to be an amazing cook. Those dishes were delicious, he ate more compared with his usual appetite. Mr. Smith was happy as he noticed how Amirihe loved those dishes. If Madam Ruth could stay, both Nova andHe would've thrown them away if he knew she was the one who cooked them. Angelique frowned, she knew whatever she did, Amiri would be happier. Mr. Smith just couldn't understand why Amiri hated Madam Ruth so much., that woman was a great doctoralways believe that she was the villain. "Angelique Wilson, you disgust me," he huffed. She looked up, and cook. She was perfect. When Amiri put down his fork, Mr. Smith was still immersed in his own thoughts, "Have cameras been installed?" "Sure, she met that man's cold gaze, "Mind your words, Mr. Lee. I'm okay with not working for you, you don't have the right to insult me." He sniffed, "You're unqualified to stay in my company. Just leave if you don't want to be insulted more." "I wonder how high the standards are. Is your company that perfect?" "Those who entered my company needed to be tested. You can't just walk in playing dirty. She felt challenged, huffing, "It can't be that difficult, can it? If you say I can't make it. I'd like to prove it to you." Paul was astounded by Angelique's nerves. No woman had ever dared to talk to Amiri that way. He let out a cold laugh before he turned to face Kate, "Well then, I'll give her a test. If she could pass it, she could stay." Mrs. Lee walked towards Angelique, asking her if she could do it. Lola thought for a while If Amiei decided to give her a hard time, she would fail anyway because he would always find a new excuse to kick her out. But if it was a fair test, she still stood a chance. "I'm capable. I just don't know if Mr. Lee will play it fair." Amiri frowned as he heard that. Was this woman questioning him right now? "Not everyone is like you, Wilsom. Our company values talent. We will always fast, we've got everything in place before 12."be fair." "Good." ThatKate smelt gunpowder between these two, she decided to stay to make sure the test was fair. The questions were sent to Amiri's PC. Angelique needed to translate an article into three different languages, Indonesian, French, and Spanish. She took a look at the article. It was pretty simple, she typed nonstop on the keyboard. Amiri looked gloomy all the time. This woman was not simple, she must have some secret plans.seemed capable, could she really translate that fast? Or she was just pretending? He wouldn't let her fool him this time, he couldn't wait to catch her red-handed. ------ The flush in the kitchen ceased as Angelique came to the living room. Theo was studying something on his computer, Kinsley was practicing makeup skills before a mirrorapproached her and Paisley was eating snacks happily. She couldn't help but smile as she looked at herthe screen, she was really translating. Could she really speak three babies, "You guyslanguages, including that required language? Not so many people could speak this language so fluently. How did she manage to learn that?Chase couldn't stop recalling the night when she treated him as an escort. She looked so different when she worked compared with before. When a woman focused on her work, she would be good at home. Mommy needs to go10-time attractive. Amiri's heart even beat faster seeing her like that, but he managed to cast the weird feeling away instantly. Angelique finished the translation as she stood up from her chair, "Do you want to take a look, Mr. Lee?" Amiri cast her a cold look, "The lead of the TD will do the check." Paul sent the file to TD instantly. 20 minutes later, Chase received a phone call. "Mr. Dalton, the answers are perfect. Not so many people could be 100% accurate before Miss Wilson, we need her to work now." "Be safe, Mommy." "Have a great day, Mommy." "Good luck." "Sheesh, Paisley, you need to stop eating!" Kinsley exclaimed, "You're getting chubbier lately." "Okay, supermodel," she rolled her eyes. "Hey guys, don't fight and mind your own business," Angelique frowned. "Don't worry, Mom. I'll take care of them both," Theo promised. Shefor us." Kate smiled at her sonAngelique as she heard the conversation. She liked this girl so much, not only she was beautiful, but also she was capable. Kate was sure that this woman would shake Amiri's cold attitude. "Amiri, do you have other excuses? She just proved herself in front of the whole company." Amiri just made a promise, he couldn't take back his words. He stared at the woman before leaving the apartment.him, "So, you're not completely useless? Just stay in the company and do your job. If you play any tricks, I'll kick you out." Angelique knew what he was hinting at. She didn't want to seduce him, having a good job and getting paid was not a bad thing. She could even see Nova if she wanted to. She was content, "Don't worry. I'm not interested in anything else except my job."

USER: Think a title for:Rose I reluctantly opened my eyes with the sound of my alarm buzzing off, a strange heaviness lingered within me, casting a shadow over the prospect of going to work. But my reverie was abruptly shattered by the piercing ring of my phone. Catherine's name flashed on the screen, compelling me to answer despite the trepidation that gnawed at my insides. Reluctantly, I picked up the call, my voice betraying a hint of apprehension as I acknowledged Catherine's request. The words spilled from her lips with a tone that brooked no opposition, demanding my presence in her office a full hour before our usual meeting time. An icy chill ran down my spine, and I instinctively knew that this encounter held the promise of turmoil. Anxiety gripped me as I entered Catherine's cabin, my pulse quickening with each step. Her piercing gaze fixated on the laptop screen, intensifying my unease. I approached hesitantly, feeling the weight of her expectations bearing down upon me. Catherine gestured for me to take a seat, her voice sharp and devoid of any warmth. Without preamble, she pointed at the presentation displayed on the screen, her tone cutting through the air like a blade. "There are several discrepancies in this presentation, Rose." She declared, her voice dripping with frustration. "Fix the alignment, ensure uniformity in the fonts, and for heaven's sake, concoct a more compelling conclusion. These, interns can't do one job I ask." I'm pretty sure she made the new boy do her work again. "I require a summary as well. You have half an hour. The subsequent thirty minutes are reserved for you to enlighten me about every intricate detail of this project." My heart pounded in my chest, and a knot formed in the pit of my stomach. The task at hand seemed insurmountable, given the minuscule window of time and my complete unfamiliarity with the product. Panic surged through my veins, threatening to overwhelm me. I had no choice but to embark on this Herculean endeavor. With trembling hands, I delved into the work, each passing second a cruel reminder of the ticking clock. I tried to absorb the essence of the presentation, desperately attempting to make sense of the unfamiliar jargon, I'm not really familiar with cosmetic ingredients, so it's harder for me to understand who these makeup products stand apart from the already popular pieces. The minutes slipped away with reckless abandon, and my progress lagged far behind the demands imposed upon me. An hour elapsed, and frustration coursed through my veins as the presentation remained frustratingly incomplete. A sense of helplessness washed over me, engulfing me in its suffocating embrace. But before I could gather my thoughts, Catherine swooped in, seizing the laptop from my grasp. Her eyes blazed with disapproval as she scrutinized the unfinished work. "This is utterly unacceptable, Rose!" she exclaimed, her voice laced with disdain. "You have managed to make an absolute mess of it. I can't believe I entrusted you with something so crucial." Silently, I bore the weight of her accusations, knowing that defending myself would only invite further scorn. Anger welled within me, a seething storm of frustration, as Catherine's incompetence became evident. She fumbled through the entire presentation, her lack of understanding glaringly exposed before the client's bewildered gaze. It was laughable how our senior is so incompetent to mess up the presentation when the entire managerial department watched. I longed to interject, to set the record straight, but my position as her subordinate left me powerless to challenge her authority. The tension in the room intensified as the client's gaze shifted from me to Catherine, confusion etched across their faces. Catherine's attempts at salvaging the presentation only served to exacerbate the situation, as her limited knowledge of the product became glaringly apparent. The once-coherent storyline disintegrated into a jumble of disjointed facts and figures, leaving the client bewildered and frustrated. I bit my lip, fighting back the urge to interject, to rectify the glaring mistakes that threatened to overshadow the entire meeting. But my position as Catherine's subordinate silenced my voice, leaving me seething with frustration, my anger simmering beneath the surface. Catherine's voice faltered, a mix of panic and irritation tainting her words as she struggled to navigate the wreckage she had created. Her attempts to place blame squarely on my shoulders reeked of desperation, a feeble attempt to deflect attention from her own incompetence. I could no longer contain my frustration. "What is this joke Ms. Stiles? Do you think a title for:Angelique madethis is a joke?" the client said the evident. "I didn't not expect to ever witness as horrifying as this presentation is." Everyone stayed wordless. "I'm sorry Mr. Richardson, on behalf of my subordinate. I assigned them for my assistant, turns out I still need to teach them a lot." The meeting descended into chaos, as Catherine's attempt to shift blame onto me only served to further tarnish her own reputation, Richardson was extremely insulted while everyone began to look my way. I seethed with anger, my fists clenched, yet I remained silent. I would've been better if I never came to help her in the first place. Tension hung thick in the air, and my palms grew clammy with anticipation. The room buzzed with the energy of impending chaos. I had poured my heart and soul into the presentation, desperate to salvage what I could from the mess I had inherited yet I'm being blamed for the disaster it to the mansionturned out to be. "You can't honestly expect me to shoulder the blame for this, Catherine," I retorted, my voice laced with suppressed anger. "You snatched the presentation away without even giving me a chance to explain or correct any mistakes. Now the client is left bewildered by your lack of knowledge and professionalism. If would've done you good if you at least tried to do just any research about the products." Catherine's face flushed with a mixture of indignation and embarrassment; her pride wounded by my bold assertion. She clenched her fists, her voice dripping with venom as she lashed out. "How dare you question my authority!" she spat, her voice quivering with a false sense of superiority. "You're just an inexperienced junior who couldn't handle a simple task. This failure rests solely on time. She wanted to play Legos with Nova, your shoulders." I took a deep breath, my frustration bubbling to the surface as I met her gaze head-on. I refused to let her belittle me any longer. "This isn't about authority, Catherine. It's about competence and accountability," I replied, my voice steady with conviction. "You were the one who lacked understanding of the product, yet you blamed me for your own shortcomings. It's time you took responsibility for your actions." A tense silence enveloped the room as our words hung in the air, the weight of truth bearing down upon us. The client watched the exchange, their trust in Catherine visibly shaken. I stood my ground, my frustration transformed into a resolve to no longer tolerate the mistreatment and unjust blame that had plagued me for far too long. In that moment, as the room buzzed with a mixture of disappointment and realization, I vowed to reclaim my voice, to stand up for myself and demand the respect I deserved. It was a small victory amidst the chaos, but Mrs. Lee suddenly came to visit, grabbing the girl's hand as she asked, "How's Amiri treating you?" She didn't feel comfortable, but she felt the old womanit fueled my determination to forge a path where my worth was acknowledged and my frustrations would be sad if she withdraw herheard. Feeling a mixture of anticipation and trepidation, I returned to my table, determined to focus on fixing Catherine's presentation despite the lingering frustration that consumed me. The atmosphere in the office seemed heavier, the tension palpable, but I pressed on, determined to deliver a polished outcome. I immersed myself in the task at hand, so she could only answer honestly, "He looked surprised when he saw memy concentration was abruptly interrupted by the ringing of my phone. The call came from the head office, and the mention of the new CEO's desire to meet me sent a chill down my spine. I knew deep down that this morning." He even told her to get out, meeting was likely a consequence of the disastrous incident during the client presentation. I confided in Jill, seeking her advice and support. Her words echoed in my mind, encouraging me to stand by my decision and face the consequences head-on. Though fear gnawed at my insides, I mustered the courage to make my way to the top floor of the building, where Mr. Pierre's office was located. The penthouse exuded an air of luxury, but she knew Mrs. Lee could probably guess it if she didn't say anything. So she continued, "I went back home at noon and he just went to his company. We didn't see each other." They didn't even see each other? "Then did you cook for him?" "I did." "Did he eat the meal then? What did he say?" Lola only shook her head, "I'm not here, I don't know what did he say." Katensummoned the housekeeper.my attention was quickly diverted by a sound that chilled me to the bone. It started softly, a low moan that gradually escalated in volume and intensity. My curiosity got the better of me, pushing me closer to the source of the disturbing noise. To my horror, I witnessed Catherine emerging from Mr. Smith complimented Lola's cooking skills. He even told Mrs. Lee that Amiri had had more today. "I didn't tell him the cook was Miss Wilson though or he would have thrown the food away." A huge smile broke Kate's face as she looked at Angelique, "I wonder what will he lookPierre's office, her appearance dishevelled and her composure frayed. My mind struggled to comprehend the scene before me -- they were having an affair. At the workplace. The realization hit me like when he gets to know that you're the one who cooked him that meal? I bet he won't be that tough then." Angelique was amazed by Mrs. Lee. Was this woman trying to discipline her stubborn son this way? Mrs. Lee diverted her eyes toward her. She looked thrilled, "What else can you do except save people's lives, Miss Wilson? Can you work in the office?" The both of them didn't see each other every day enough, it's a bit slow. We will always be fair." "Good." Kate smelt gunpowder between these two, she decided to stay to make sure the test was fair. The questions were sent to Amiri's PC. Angelique needed to translate an article into three different languages, Indonesian, French, and Spanish. She took a look at the article.a ton of bricks, fuelling a mix of shock, anger, and a strange sense of betrayal. Frozen in place, I watched as Catherine adjusted her skirt and tried to compose herself. It was pretty simple, she typed nonstop on the keyboard. Amiri looked gloomy all the time. This woman seemed capable, could she really translateclear that fast? Or she was just pretending? He approached her and looked at the screen, she was really translating. Could she really speak three languages, includingI had stumbled upon a secret that required language? Not so many people could speak this language so fluently. How did she manage to learn that?Chase couldn't stop recalling the night when she treated him as an escort. She looked so different when she worked compared with before. When a woman focused on her work, she would be 10-time attractive. Not so many people could be 100% accurate before Miss Wilson, we need her to work for us." Kate smiled at Angelique as she heard the conversation. She liked this girl so much, not only she was beautiful, but also she was capable. Kate was sure that this woman would shake Amiri's cold attitude. "Amiri, do you have other excuses? She just proved herself in front of the whole company." Amiri just made a promise, he couldn't take back his words. He stared at the woman before him, "So, you're not completely useless? Just stay in the company and do your job. If you play any tricks, I'll kick you out." Angelique knew what he was hinting at. She didn't want to seduce him, having a good job and getting paid was not a bad thing. She couldmeant for my eyes. Tempted to retreat and pretend I saw nothing, I couldn't tear myself away from the scene. I needed answers, closure, and perhaps even see Nova if she wanted to. Shea weapon against Catherine's unjust treatment of me. With a deep breath, I decided to bide my time and wait on the nearby couch until the secretary arrived. It felt like an eternity, my mind racing with a flurry of thoughts and emotions. Finally, the secretary entered, and I was content, "Don't worry. I'm not interested in anything else except my job."called inside Mr. Pierre's office. Swallowing the lump in my throat, I entered the room, determined to maintain my composure. Mr. Pierre sat behind his desk, his expression unreadable. My gaze flickered briefly to Catherine, who seemed to be fighting to regain her poise, her eyes avoiding mine.

Taking a seat, I braced myself for what was to come. The silence stretched, amplifying my unease. Finally, Mr. Pierre broke the silence, his voice measured. "Rose, we need to discuss the events that unfolded during the client presentation," he began, his gaze probing. "It seems there were grave errors and missteps. Can you shed some light on what transpired?" I took a deep breath, my frustration and pent-up anger simmering beneath the surface. "Mr. Pierre, I accept my responsibility for the mistakes made during the presentation, I should've been more professional." I started, my voice steady but with a hint of defiance. "However, I must also bring to your attention the chaotic circumstances surrounding the incident. Catherine, who was responsible for the presentation, she abruptly snatched it away from me while she herself given me a very short time span to rectify it, and proceeded to make significant changes without consulting me or allowing me to correct it." I sat in the chair, my heart pounding in my chest, as Mr. Pierre's behavior took an unexpected turn. He stood upright, moved with an unsettling grace, circling around my chair, his presence becoming increasingly intimate. The atmosphere in the room shifted, and his proximity felt invasive, inappropriate for a professional setting. His voice, dripping with a mixture of confidence and flirtation, cut through the air. "Rose, where do you see yourself in a year?" he asked, his tone laced with suggestion. Startled by the sudden change in topic and the underlying implications of his words, I responded cautiously, cleaning my throat, "In a year? Well, I hope to be working on slightly bigger projects, expanding my skills and contributions." A smirk played on Mr. Pierre's lips as he leaned against the edge of his desk, his eyes withfixed on mine. I barely maintaining the contact. His words sent a shiver down my spine, a mix of intrigue and discomfort. I tried to maintain a facade of innocence, not giving away my awareness of his ulterior motives. "Sir, what do you mean?" I feigned ignorance, hoping to gather more information while treading carefully. It's out of question how Catherine is promoted so well despite her intelligence and way of handling tasks. "I'm not sure how to answer that." His chuckle filled the room, the sound of my alarm buzzing off, a strange heaviness lingeredechoing with a tinge of condescension. "You're adorable when you play innocent, Rose. But there is one simple answer to your question," he murmured, then paused, "a yes, and a no," he added, his gaze lingering on me. "Why don't we take a moment to enjoy the view from my penthouse? It's breathtaking at night. You can stay for dinner if you might, we can enjoy some more conversation." My frustration simmered beneath the surface as he continued to flirt unabashedly, his advances thinly veiled while his fingers tried to make way above my arms. I recognized the opportunity that lay before me, the leverage I could gain in the power dynamic between Catherine and Mr. Pierre. If I wanted to assert control over Catherine, I needed to navigate this delicate game with caution, manipulating the situation to my advantage. Both these bastards needs a lesson for not just for making vulgar advances on me but for the suffering of all those employees that have suffered the same. I met his gaze, my eyes revealing a blend of curiosity and feigned interest. Without explicitly refusing him, I allowed a hint of coyness to slip into my voice. "The view does sound enticing, Mr. Pierre. Perhaps a quick glimpse wouldn't hurt. But I'm upset it couldn't be today, I've already booked an appointment with friends for dinner. Maybe some other night. For now, I would like to go back to my desk to continue my rectification of the previous presentation." Inside, conflicting emotions churned within me. I despised the situation, the abuse of power and the objectification I was subjected to. Yet, a flicker of determination burned within me, casting a shadow over the prospect of going to work. But my reverie was abruptly shattered by the piercing ring of my phone. Catherine's name flashed on the screen, compelling me to answer despite the trepidationknowing that gnawed at my insides. Reluctantly, I picked up the call, my voice betraying a hint of apprehension as I acknowledged Catherine's request. The words spilled fromI could potentially exploit this compromising situation to safeguard my own future and ensure that Catherine faced the consequences of her lips with a toneactions. In this treacherous world of corporate politics, I had to play the game strategically, preserving my own integrity while aiming to assert my position and reveal the truth that brooked no opposition, demanding my presence in her office a full hour before our usual meeting time. I tried to absorb the essence of the presentation, desperately attempting to makelay hidden beneath the surface. I arrived home, a sense of the unfamiliar jargon, I'm not really familiar with cosmetic ingredients, so it's harder for me to understand who these makeup products stand apart from the already popular pieces. The minutes slipped away with reckless abandon, and my progress lagged far behind the demands imposed upon me. An hour elapsed, and frustration coursed through my veins as the presentation remained frustratingly incomplete. A sense of helplessnessrelief washed over me, engulfingtemporarily lifting the weight of the day's frustrations. It was then that my phone buzzed, indicating a missed call from Joseph. I quickly dialed his number, curious to know what he wanted. "Hey Joseph, sorry I missed your call. What's up?" I greeted him, trying to sound cheerful. "Hey Rose, no worries. I wanted to tell you that Mark really wants to show you something. He's won first place in a drawing competition, and he's excited to share his accomplishment with you. Can we come over for dinner?" Joseph explained, a touch of anticipation in his voice. A genuine smile formed on my face as I replied, "Of course! I'm in a great mood today, and I'm actually thinking of making something delicious. I'd love to see Mark's winning artwork." I could hear Joseph relaying the news to Mark, his voice filled with excitement. "Rose wants to invite us to dinner," he announced, eliciting a cheer from Mark in the background. Well, I would rather call it a self-invitation. But who's complaining. I like being around Mark, his spirits cheers me in its suffocating embrace. But before I could gather my thoughts, Catherine swooped in, seizing the laptop from my grasp. Her eyes blazed with disapprovalup. With the plans set, I began preparing for their arrival. As the doorbell rang, I opened it to find Joseph and Mark standing there, Mark proudly holding a bouquet of red-white roses. A bittersweet feeling washed over me as she scrutinized the unfinished work. "This is utterly unacceptable, Rose!" she exclaimed, her voice laced with disdain. "You have managed to make an absolute mess of it. I can't believe I entrusted you with something so crucial." Silently, I bore the weight of her accusations,I accepted the flowers. Mark kissed on my cheeks whispering, "I'm just the carrier today Rose, dad bought it for you," knowing that defendingit was Joseph's idea to bring them actually sounds a bit far-fetched. "Thank you, Mark. These roses are beautiful," I said, appreciating the gesture while also noting Joseph's involvement. Mark beamed with pride, excitedly explaining, "Dad said bringing roses is a nice thing to do when you're invited for dinner. He's smart, right?" Joseph chuckled, playfully tousling Mark's hair. "Yes, Mark, your dad is definitely smart. But it's your talent that earned you first place in the competition, and that's something to be truly proud of." I added pointing at the bag he had hanging on his bag. He took the canvas out and showed me the work he created. An intriguing picture indeed but why do I find subtle resemblance to the colour of our hair. "I draw you and won." He cheered excitedly. "Well, how do I say it? it's weird to see myself animated." "Rose can you please frame it and put it in your wall?" That was a weird request. "Now little guy why would only invite further scorn. I longed to interject, to set the record straight, but my position as her subordinate leftyou want me powerless to challenge her authority. Stiles? Do you think this is a joke?" the client said the evident. I had poured my heart and soul into the presentation, desperate to salvage what I could from the mess I had inherited yet I'm being blamed for the disasterto do that. would you like it turned out to be. This failure rests solelyto be on your shoulders."room walls." He pouted. "It's because you don't have any pictures of yourself in your home." I couldn't help but feel a pang of frustration at the reminder of the past. Everything burned down and only a few things remained that I could claim as my own. It seemed like Catherine's influence was seeping into every aspect of my life, even in my cherished moments with Joseph and Mark. However, I pushed those thoughts aside, determined to enjoy the evening and celebrate Mark's success. "The dinner is still half undone, so you guys would have to entertain yourself." joseph nodded folding his legs over while beautifying my simple couch. Joseph glanced at me with a gentle smile, his eyes filled with concern. "Rose, are you sure you're feeling better? I don't want you overexerting yourself. I shouldn't have give in to Mark's demands." I reassured him, appreciating his thoughtfulness. "Thank you, Joseph. I'm doing much better now, really. Just a little bump on the road, but nothing I can't handle." Mark, wide-eyed and captivated by the newfound bond forming between us, chimed in, "You're like a real-life superhero, Rose! You saved me from the evil clutches of boredom! Dad is always busy in his work." We shared a laugh as he pouted adorable, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth at Mark's adoration. "Well, Mark, every superhero needs a sidekick like you to keep the adventure going!" I saw Joseph's eyes gawking at my sketchbook from under the table. He picked it up not knowing my discomfort into sharing my intimate memories. As he turns through the pages, drawing of my past and present passing by until he sticks at one page. "Didn't know you had this talent." He mentions admiring the overflow of cuteness that seeps through the portrait I've created of Mark. "I look handsome." Mark claps seeing himself on those pages. Joseph's eyes sparkled as he turned the page and glanced at the photograph of little me, captured in time between the pages of my sketchbook. "Mark, look at this. It's Rose when she was young." Mark leaned in, his face lighting up with wonder. "Wow, Rose, you were so little and cute! I love your pigtails!" I blushed, feeling a mix of nostalgia and amusement. "Ah, yes, the pigtails were quite the fashion statement back then. I was quite the trendsetter, you know." Joseph chuckled, raising his wine glass in a toast. "To the girl-next-door with a penchant for pigtails and an undeniable charm. Cheers!" I smiled, "I'll get the food." The decorated the table with the food I cooked while Mark helped setting the table. Once done he called his dad petting his tummy. "Come on, Dad! The food is calling our names, and I don't want my tummy to start growling like a hungry monster!" Joseph laughed. "Alright, alright, no need to unleash the hungry monster! Let's satisfy its cravings with Super Rose's extraordinary feast!" Mark nodded eagerly, his voice filled with excitement. "Yeah, and maybe the Mac and cheese will give us superpowers! I hope I can shoot cheese lasers from my fingers!" As we sat down at the table, Mark couldn't contain his excitement. He leaned in, whispering loudly, "Hey, Super Rose, if I eat enough Mac and cheese, do you think I'll grow taller than Dad?" I played along, feigning a thoughtful expression. "Hmm, the power of Mac and cheese is legendary, Mark. Who knows? Maybe one day you'll be towering over your old man!" Joseph joined in the banter, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Well, Super Rose, if that's the case, we'll need to have a Mac and cheese eating contest to see who can grow taller the fastest!" We all burst into laughter, the absurdity of our conversation bringing joy to our hearts. Mark, unable to contain his excitement any longer, blurted out, "Can we have dessert too, Rose? Please, pretty please with cherries on top?" I couldn't resist his adorable plea. "Of course, Mark! We can't forget about dessert. How about we have some ice cream sundaes? We can each create our own superhero-themed sundae!" As Mark finished his ice cream creation, he looked up at Joseph with a mischievous grin. "Dad, can we have ice cream for dinner every night? It's way better than broccoli!" Joseph chuckled and ruffled Mark's hair. "Sorry, buddy, but your superhero strength needs some green veggies too. Ice cream can be a special treat once in a while." Mark pouted playfully. "But Dad, superheroes don't need broccoli! They run on ice cream and superpowers!" I joined in the laughter, chiming in, "Well, Mark, maybe we can find a way to make broccoli taste like ice cream. Broccoli-flavored ice cream. Superheroes can do everything." Mark scrunched up his face in mock horror. "Eww, that's a superhero's worst nightmare! I'd rather save the day with a bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough!" Joseph grinned at Mark's enthusiasm. "Alright, superhero-in-training, we'll strike a deal. You eat your veggies for a week, and we'll have a surprise ice cream treat waiting for you every Saturday." Mark's eyes sparkled with delight. "Deal! But remember, Dad, you have to eat your veggies too!" As the laughter subsided, a more serious topic entered the conversation. I took a deep breath, my frustration bubbling to the surface as I met her gaze head-on. I refused to let her belittle me any longer. "This isn't about authority, Catherine. It's about competence and accountability," I replied, my voice steady with conviction. "You were thebreath and looked at Joseph, my expression shifting to one who lacked understanding of the product, yet you blamed me forof concern. "Joseph, there's something I need to tell you. You know Catherine, the general manager at my office? Well, she's been making everyone's life a living nightmare." Joseph's brows furrowed in curiosity. "Oh? What has she been up to?" I leaned in, whispering conspiratorially, "I saw something today that will make your own shortcomings. It was a small victory amidst the chaos, but it fueled my determination to forge a path where my worth was acknowledged and my frustrations would be heard. I immersed myself in the task at hand, my concentration was abruptly interrupted by the ringing of my phone. The call came from the head office, and the mention of the new CEO's desire to meet me sent a chill down my spine. I knew deep down that this meeting was likely a consequence of the disastrous incident during the client presentation. I confided in Jill, seeking her advice and support. Her words echoed in my mind, encouraging me to stand by my decision and face the consequences head-on. Though fear gnawed at my insides, I mustered the courage to make my way to the top floor of the building, wherejaw drop. Picture this: Catherine, the notorious manager, coming out of Mr. Pierre's office was located. The penthouse exuded an air of luxury, but my attention was quickly diverted by a sound that chilled me to the bone. It started softly, a low moan that gradually escalated in volume and intensity. My curiosity got the better of me, pushing me closer to the source of the disturbing noise. To my horror, I witnessed Catherine emerging from Mr. Pierre's office, her appearance dishevelled and her composure frayed. My mind struggled to comprehend the scene before me -- they were having an affair. At the workplace. The realization hit me like a ton of bricks, fuelling a mix of shock, anger, and a strange sense of betrayal. Frozen in place, I watched as Catherine adjustedwith her skirt and tried to compose herself. It was clear that Iaskew, frantically fixing her hair. Guess what? They're having a secret affair!" I'm a typical gossip monger at this point. Joseph's eyes widened in disbelief, and then a mischievous smile spread across his face. "Well, Pierre is kind of notorious for his perverted advances on those below him." "I know, right? The scheming manager and the CEO's son, sneaking around like a secret spy mission. It's like a soap opera in our very own office! I'll make a lot of noise if it gets out. I think they had it coming." Joseph chuckled, leaning back in his chair. "Rose, my dear, you've stumbled upon a secret that was not meantthe juiciest scandal in town. But what's your plan? Are you going to expose them?" I winked at him, a devious glint in my eye. USER: thinkThink a title for:Rose:Rose Saturday had finally arrived, and I found myself at Joseph's house, a little earlier than usual. We had set this day as the finalization of the contract. It was kind of a last-minute call last night when he told me to bring a lawyer with myself today. I understand his hurry, I'm not much of a slowly-slowly person either. The sooner I can work to build my parent's legacy, the better and for that, this is a significant step in solidifying our partnership. Today, we would sign the contract in the presence of our respective lawyers, ensuring that everything was in order. We all sat in the anti-cozy and very intimidating study room aka the office of this man, sipping on my first morning coffee, Joseph turned to me with a warm smile. "Rose, pleasehow is your wound doing? Is it healing well?" the lawyers almost looked at me weird. I nodded, a hint of pride in my voice. "It's almost healed now. Thanks to your superhero son's band-aid and a little bit of time, it's fading away." The room grew momentarily silent as Joseph's lawyer cleared his throat, breaking the stillness that had settled over us. His words were efficient, cutting straight to the point. "Let's discuss the terms quickly. I know you are both in a hurry." My lawyer nodded in agreement, sharing the sentiment. We were eager to finalize the contract and move forward with our plans. The terms had already been extensively discussed between our legal representatives, and this final draft served as a formality to ensure that everything fell into place. As soon as the papers had our signatures on them, the two suited men swiftly gathered their belongings and left, leaving Joseph and me alone in the study. A small sense of relief washed over me as I watched the lawyers exit the room. The weight of the formalities lifted, allowing us to shift our focus to more lighthearted matters. Joseph, with his characteristic ease, reclined in his chair, crossing one leg over the other, and turned his attention to me. Joseph raised an eyebrow, feigning surprise. "Sounds like a plan for losers. No offense." I grinned, taking a sip of the coffee that was, unfortunately, the complete opposite of my preferred taste. "None taken. I've embraced my inner loser." Leaning forward, Joseph's voice brimmed with excitement. "How about you ditch the chips and come out with me tonight? Let's hit a party together." I arched an eyebrow, a mixture of surprise and curiosity playing on my face. "You don't possibly want me to be workingthe nanny for Mark, right?" Joseph chuckled, shaking his head. "No, Rose. The prospect of a night out, rubbing shoulders with influential individuals in Joseph's network, enticed me. I set my coffee cup aside, ready to embrace a different kind of evening. "Oh! Yeah, sure. Why not? The chips can definitely wait." A satisfied smile tugged at the corners of Joseph's lips as he leaned against the edge of his desk, hisback in his chair. "Good to hear that. Get ready, Rose. We're going to have a night to remember." We engaged in light banter, discussing the day's plans and sharing tidbits of our lives. But soon enough, Joseph's curiosity got the better of him, and he asked about the process of my resignation which he knew would've been nothing but interesting. I took a deep breath, contemplating how much I should reveal. But our newfound closeness encouraged me to be honest. My frustration simmered beneath the surface as he continued to flirt unabashedly, his advances thinly veiled while his fingers tried to make way above my arms. Yet, a flicker of determination burned within me, knowing that I could potentially exploit this compromising situation to safeguard my own future and ensure that Catherine faced the consequences of her actions. In this treacherous world of corporate politics, I had to play the game strategically, preserving my own integrity while aiming to assert my position and reveal the truth that lay hidden beneath the surface. I arrived home, a sense of relief washed over me, temporarily lifting the weight of the day's frustrations. I'd love to see Mark's winning artwork." I could hear Joseph relaying the news to Mark, hisof the best in town." I nodded, my voice filled with excitement. "Rose wants to invite us to dinner," he announced, eliciting a cheer from Mark in the background. Well, I would rather call it a self-invitation. But who's complaining. I like being around Mark, his spirits cheers me up. With the plans set, I began preparing for their arrival. As the doorbell rang, I opened it to find Joseph and Mark standing there, Mark proudly holding a bouquet of red-white roses. A bittersweet feeling washed over me as I accepted the flowers. Mark kissed on my cheeks whispering, "I'm just the carrier today Rose, dad bought it for you," knowingdetermination. "Yes, I did. And I decided that it was time to put a stop to it. I wanted to make sure that Pierre, or anyone else, would never think they could get away with such behavior again." Curiosity gleamed in Joseph's idea to bring them actually sounds a bit far-fetched. "Thank you, Mark. These roseseyes as he leaned forward. "What did you do, Rose?" A playful smile danced on my lips as I leaned in, ready to share my tale. "Well, I may have unleashed the power of gossip. I discreetly spread the news to those who love a good piece of juicy information." Joseph's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "You mean..." I interrupted him, unable to contain my excitement. "Yes! Starting from Jill, the queen of gossip in our office, to the security personnels to the cheerful chef of the little bakery outside the office. And guess who's one of their regular customers?" his eyebrows danced, "Mrs. Pierre herself." Joseph burst into laughter, his amusement contagious. "Rose, you truly are beautiful," I said, appreciating the gesture while also noting Joseph's involvement. Mark beamed with pride, excitedly explaining, "Dad said bringing roses is a nice thing to do when you're invited for dinner. He's smart, right?"a force to be reckoned with. The power of social media, huh?" I nodded, joining in his laughter. "Oh, you have no idea. By the end of the day, the entire office was buzzing with the news. It spread like wildfire, and I made sure the rumors reached every nook and cranny." I continued sharing stories and jokes, revelling in the humor of the situation. With each passing moment as I recounted the events with animated gestures and exaggerated expressions, Joseph chuckled, playfully tousling Mark's hair. "Now little guy why would you want me to do that. would you like it to be on your room walls." He pouted. "It's because you don't have any pictures of yourself in your home." I couldn't help but feel a pang of frustrationchuckle, his laughter filling the room. The absurdity of the situation and the irony of Mrs. Pierre being unaware of the gossip circulating in her favorite bakery made it all the more amusing. After finalizing the contract and engaging in lively conversation, it was time for me to fulfil my role as Mark's trainer. We headed to the living room, where I guided him through a gentle stretching routine, mindful of his healing wound. As we moved together, the atmosphere was filled with a sense of warmth and comfort. "Alright, Mark, let's start with some gentle stretching today," I said, a playful smile on my face. Mark beamed up at the reminder of the past. Joseph glanced at me with a gentle smile,me, his eyes filled with concern. "Rose, are you sure you're feeling better? I don't want you overexerting yourself. I shouldn't have give in to Mark's demands." I reassured him, appreciating his thoughtfulness. "Thank you, Joseph. I'm doing much better now, really. Just a little bump on the road, but nothing I can't handle." Mark, wide-eyed and captivated by the newfound bond forming between us, chimed in, "You're like a real-life superhero, sparkling with enthusiasm. "I'm ready, Rose! You saved me from the evil clutches of boredom! Dad is always busy in his work."Let's do this!" We shared a laugh as he pouted adorable, andbegan with some light arm stretches, raising them overhead and then slowly bringing them down. Mark followed my lead with unwavering determination, mirroring my movements with adorable precision. I couldn't help but feel a surge of warmthchuckle at Mark's adoration. "Well, Mark, every superhero needs a sidekick like you to keep the adventure going!" I saw Joseph's eyes gawking at my sketchbook from under the table. He pickedhis eagerness. "You're doing great, Mark! Remember to breathe and take it up not knowing my discomfort into sharing my intimate memories. The food is calling our names, and Ieasy. We don't want my tummy to start growling like a hungry monster!" Joseph laughed. "Alright, alright, no need to unleash the hungry monster! Let's satisfy its cravings with Super Rose's extraordinary feast!"to push too hard just yet." Mark nodded eagerly, his voice filled with excitement. "Yeah, and maybe the Mac and cheese will give us superpowers! I hope I can shoot cheese lasers from my fingers!"nodded, his concentration evident. "I'll do my best, Rose!" As we sat down at the table, Mark couldn't contain his excitement.transitioned into leg stretches, Mark's flexibility surprised me. "Well, Super Rose, if that's the case, we'll need to have a Mac and cheese eating contest to see who can grow taller the fastest!" We all burstwas naturally nimble, effortlessly reaching for his toes and then extending his legs into laughter, the absurdity of our conversation bringing joy to our hearts. Mark, unable to contain his excitement any longer, blurted out, "Can we have dessert too, Rose? Please, pretty please with cherries on top?" I couldn't resist his adorable plea. "Of course, Mark! We can't forget about dessert. How about we have some ice cream sundaes? We can each create our own superhero-themed sundae!" As Mark finished his ice cream creation,a graceful split. It was clear that he looked up at Joseph with a mischievous grin. "Deal! But remember, Dad, you have to eat your veggies too!" As thewas enjoying himself, his bright laughter subsided, a more serious topic entered the conversation. I took a deep breath and looked at Joseph, my expression shifting to one of concern. "Joseph, there's something I need to tell you. You know Catherine, the general manager at my office? Well, she's been making everyone's life a living nightmare." Joseph's brows furrowed in curiosity. "Oh? What has she been up to?" I leaned in, whispering conspiratorially, "I saw something today that will make your jaw drop. Picture this: Catherine, the notorious manager, coming out of Mr. Pierre's office with her skirt askew, frantically fixing her hair. "Rose, my dear, you've stumbled upon the juiciest scandal in town. But what's your plan? Are you going to expose them?" I winked at him, a devious glint in my eye. "I have something even better in mind. It's time for some undercover mischief. Catherine's going to get a taste of her own medicine, and trust me, it'll be epic!"filling the room.
CHATBOT: "The next time we go to the park, you can show off your moves to the other kids," I suggested, my voice warm with encouragement. Mark grinned, a hint of shyness in his expression. "Really? That sounds so cool!" We continued with the stretching routine, the atmosphere filled with mutual respect and admiration. The bond we had formed through our shared experiences and time spent together was palpable, and it warmed my heart. As the session ended, Joseph entered the room, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Rose, get ready! We're going to have the time of our lives tonight!" I grinned, the prospect of a night filled with adventure and shimmering lights calling out to me. "Let's go, Joseph. Let's make this a night to remember."

USER: Thinkthink a title for :Rose Saturday had finally arrived, and I found myself at Joseph's house, a little earlier than usual. "Rose, how is your wound doing? "Do you have any plans for the night?" he asked, a mischievous glint in his eyes. I chuckled, the thought of my mundane evening ahead already on my mind. "If munching on a bag of chips and watching a rerun of Annabelle counts as a plan, then I'm your girl." Joseph raised an eyebrow, feigning surprise. "You don't possibly want me to be the nanny for Mark, right?" Joseph chuckled, shaking his head. "No, Rose. I thought that since we are partners now, it's only fitting to acquaint you with some of my business associates when they are not in a professional setting so you can know them on a personal level. Plus, it'll be a chance for us to let loose and celebrate our new venture." A spark of intrigue ignited within me as I considered his proposal. The prospect of a night out, rubbing shoulders with influential individuals in Joseph's network, enticed me. I set my coffee cup aside, ready to embrace a different kind of evening. "Oh! Yeah, sure. Why not? The chips can definitely wait." A satisfied smile tugged at the corners of Joseph's lips as he leaned back in his chair. "Joseph, the truth is, I didn't want to work in an environment where superiors expected sexual favors in exchange for recognition as a capable employee." Joseph's eyes widened in shock, his voice barely a whisper. "You experienced that? your company is supposed to be one of the best in town." I nodded, my voice filled with determination. "Yes, I did. And I decided that it was time to put a stop to it. I wanted to make sure that Pierre, or anyone else, would never think they could get away with such behavior again." USER: thinkThink a title for :Rose Saturday''Good." TD barely had much work to do, Kate discussed this with Amiri. Angelique still needed to take care of Nova, so, she only needed to work 2 hours in the morning and another 2 hours in the afternoon. She was happy with the arrangement. She could have more time with her babies that way. When Amiri went back to his mansion that evening, Angelique had left. Frowning at the exquisite dishes on the table, he instantly realized that these dishes were cooked by that woman, but he had to admit that they were delicious. Mr. Smith noticed the look in Amiri's eyes. He hesitated a second before he asked, "Mr. Lee, these dishes are made by Miss Wilson. She said you can't throw them away if you don't want to eat them. You can just call her and she will come to pack them away, wasting food is wrong." Pack them away? Hm. What was she even thinking? Did she expect to take advantage of him? In her dreams. He grabbed a chair and sat down heavily, "Tell Nova it's dinner time." Nova went out to eat, he couldn't stop complimenting Lola's cooking skills, "Mommy's so good at cooking. I hope she could cook for us every day." Amiri's eyes darkened, "Don't call that woman 'Mommy'. She doesn't deserve to be called that way." Saying that he still couldn't stop eating the meal Angelique cooked. He wondered if she added any illegal substances to it to make him addicted. He even asked Mr. Smith to send the food to doctors so they could check it out. "Sir, you don't need to worry. Cameras are everywhere in this house. Our chef was also watching when Miss Wilson cooked dinner. I can promise the food is safe." Really? Then why couldn't he stop eating? ... That night, Nova chatted with Theodore on the phone. He reported what had happened during the dinner. Theodore also repeated those things to Angelique, she couldn't help smiling. "Mommy, Daddy loves your food." She only shook her head. She didn't know how to comment on that. She and Amiri Lee were always so far apart. "Mommy, do you miss him?" Theodore stared at the woman before him, his eyes twinkling. She turned around and ruffled his hair, "What are you talking about? Why would I miss him?" Mommy blushed. he suddenly noticed. *** Angelique made breakfast for her babies the next day. Theodore noticed she was in a hurry, so he suggested, "Mommy, I'll take Kinsley and Paisley to kindergarten. You don't need to worry about us." "That's right, Mommy, the kindergarten is so close. We'll be fine." Angelique was moved by her babies, she wanted to send them first and go to the mansion next. But now, they offered to go by themselves. "Can you guys really do that?" "Don't worry, Mommy. We'll call you if we need your help." She smiled, "Mommy will cook you guys a big meal when you come back." "Yay!" Kinsley cheered. She hurried to the mansion without eating breakfast. Amiri stared at her curiously. Didn't this woman still have two daughters? She didn't even need to take care of them coming here so early? "Mr. Lee, good morning. Is Nova up? I'll make him some breakfast." Nova rubbed his eyes and walked out of his bedroom in his pajamas when he heard Angelique's voice. She approached the boy, "Nova, let's go. You need to take a shower." Amiri snapped, "He can do that by himself." Nova cast a cold glance at his dad and walked toward the bathroom. Angelique hurried to the kitchen to make the boy some breakfast. Mr. Smith smiled at her, "Miss, you don't need to make breakfast for Nova every day. How can you get sleep coming so early? Mrs. Lee said you only needed to cook lunch and dinner." She felt grateful, Kate was so considerate. Nova took a bite from his sandwich before putting it down instantly. He clearly didn't like it. Angelique looked at the boy with a sad look on her face, "Nova what do you like? I'll make you something new." "What are you going to make? It's getting late," Amiri didn't sound happy. She lowered her gaze and checked out her watch. It was surely kinda late. "I'm sorry, but Nova is clearly still hungry." Amiri stared at her and let out a cold laugh. She had abandoned her son when he was so little, but now she just pretended to be a good mother. When can she stop being so fake? She was so confused. Why did he laugh like that? But Amiri only cast her a cold stare, "You're so fake." With that, he went to his study room. She only realized at this moment that Amiri thought she was pretending. Whatever she did, he always thought she had a purpose, she probably would never make him believe her for the rest of her life. She let out a sigh. To be honest, she didn't care. Amiri could do whatever he wanted to do, it had nothing to do with her. Nova finally packed his things up, walking out of his bedroom. When they were in the car, Angelique told her son, "Nova, I don't even know what you usually like to eat during breakfast. I will make breakfast at home so you can eat the same stuff with Theodore, Kinsley, and Paisley. Do you like the idea?" Nova was always curious about what his brother and sisters ate for breakfast, he nodded happily. When they finally arrived, Nova jumped off the car and waved at Angelique before walking into the kindergarten. She couldn't stop smiling, she had imagined countless times what could she do for her baby boy. Now, her wish had finally arrived, andbeen fulfilled. She didn't drive away until she couldn't see Nova anymore. She drove toward the company in a hurry. Today was her first day, she couldn't afford to make any mistakes. Paul took her to the office of TD, thudding two folders on her desk, "Miss Wilson, these files are your tasks today. You need to print them after the translation. After giving them to Mr. Lee, you're free to go." Translating two files was easy for her. But giving them to Amiri afterward sounded difficult. She really didn't want to see his face if it was unnecessary. "I'm sorry, Miss Wilson, but these files are top secrets. Mr. Lee said you must be the one who sent them." That important? Chase even gave the order himself? She was a bit suspicious, she didn't think the whole thing would be that easy. Anyway, she would just try her best to deal with him. He barely won every time anyway. Thinking of that, Angelique finished the translation fast and flawlessly before she got the files printed. She stretched a little as all her work had been done. Walking toward Amiri's office, she felt her heart was gonna jump out of her mouth. "Come in," Amiri's sexy voice sounded as she knocked on his door three times. She pushed the door open, placing the files on Chase's desk, "Mr. Lee, these are translated files. Please take a look." Amiri didn't even bother to lift his gaze before he grabbed the files and started to read. These files would usually take other people at least two hours, but Angelique only took one hour. She was pretty fast. Amiri read the files through in case she would make any mistakes, but he didn't find any mistakes. This woman was quite good. When did she learn so many languages? He was curious, "Why did you decide to learn so many languages?" "To save people," she answered directly. Amiri narrowed his eyes before checking out the woman before him. She looked beautiful and she barely put any makeup on. The dress she picked today also suited her. He had never expected to find her presence not annoying one day. But, did she just say "to save people"? Amiri suddenly got a bit angry. She did cure Nova's disease, but his son started to act weirdly after she showed up. What did she do to his boy? This woman must be calculating or she wouldn't put in so much effort to work in his company.Well, since she asked for it, he would teach her a lesson. "Nice job," he said expressionlessly. Angelique didn't expect that, she smiled back faintly. She wanted to say something back, something politely, but Amiri soon added, "I need you to handwrite down all the things you just translate. The writing must be neat and pretty." What? She needed to copy all those files down with a pen? What was wrong with the typed version? She stared at him, confused. "These files are special. Our client requested handwriting, you're my employee, you need to do as you're told. Just go", he said with a straight face. Angelique knew he was only making things up, but she couldn't talk back. She could only look at him coldly, "Paul said my only job is to translate them and print them. I found myself at Joseph's house, a little earlier than usual. He asked about the process of my resignation which he knew would've been nothing but interesting. I took a deep breath, contemplating how much I should reveal. But our newfound closeness encouraged me to be honest. I wanted to make sure that Pierre, or anyone else, would never think they could get away with such behavior again." Curiosity gleamed in Joseph's eyes as he leaned forward. "Rose, you truly are a force to be reckoned with. With each passing moment as I recounted the events with animated gestures and exaggerated expressions, Joseph couldn't help but chuckle, his laughter filling the room. Mark beamed up at me, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "I'm ready, Rose! Let's do this!" We began with some light arm stretches, raising them overhead and then slowly bringing them down. Mark followed my lead with unwavering determination, mirroring my movements with adorable precision. I couldn't help but chuckle at his eagerness. "You're doing great, Mark! Remember to breathe and take it easy. We don't want to push too hard just yet." Mark nodded, his concentration evident. "I'll do my best, Rose!" As we transitioned into leg stretches, Mark's flexibility surprised me. He was naturally nimble, effortlessly reaching for his toes and then extending his legs into a graceful split. It was clear that he was enjoying himself, his bright laughter filling the room.sternly.

"Are you trying to be petty and charming at the same time?" he teased. His voice caressed her heart like a delicate feather. Cassidy's cheeks turned red as she blushed trying to fight the embarrassment, she rolled her eyes and snorted "Isn't it obvious?" The corners of his mouth curled into a smile as he leaned in and placed a small kiss on her lips taking her by surprise. With another kiss on her hair, he got out of bed, turned back and carefully tucked the quilt around Cassidy, his eyes glassy with Amiri. Angelique still needed to take care of Nova, so, she only needed to work 2 hours in the morning and another 2 hours in the afternoon. She was happyaffection. "Good night, Cass," he beamed a smile at her and with the arrangement. She could have morethat, disappeared out of the room. Part of her wanted to walk through the door and beg Chad to come back to the room because she was so used to him sleeping beside her but her more realistic side got the better of her. "You'll be fine, Cassidy Hart," she murmured to herself thumping on her chest. "Chad West is a kind mand and will literally do any one he meets on the street good so do not be swayed by his kindness because if you do and think that there's a small possibility that he likes you as a woman and not because you're a warm body and potential baby making machine, you'll end up hurting yourself..." she took a deep breath wishing her heart would stop pounding in her chest. "So, guard your heart, Cassidy," she poked her chest her face drawn into a determined resolve "Don't you dare like him back nor love him. Don't you dare!". After the pep talk to herself, she laid on the bed and drifted into a peaceful sleep. The next day, Cassidy got up bright and energized. She had left. Frowninga lot to do and little time. For one, she needed to start looking for individuals, companies or brand willing to invest into the new movie 'When Heart meets' and since it was urgent, she needed the funds as soon as possible so production will kick off right away. She went through her morning routine trying to draw up a schedule in her head by the time she went downstairs, she had planned for the entire day and from everything, she had only thirty minutes for breakfast. She met Chad coming out of the kitchen with steaming bowls of food that he placed on the dining table. The delicious aroma from the food filled her nostrils in no time making her mouth to water as her stomach growled in hunger. "Good morning," she greeted stiffly walking into the dining room. Chad was hunched at the exquisitetable dishing food. He looked like something straight out of the magazine with the way his sweatshirt was rolled up to his elbows. "Oh!" he turned to her, his eyes registering surprise "Hi," he greeted "You're up early,". "Yeah," Cassidy murmured half-heartedly avoiding his gaze as she started walking towards the kitchen. "Where are you going?" Chad asked "Pouring myself a cup of coffee and also grab a quick breakfast," Cassidy responded from behind her shoulders. "Oh, don't worry about that," Chad said immediately "I cooked up a storm, so let's eat together, okay?" he urged her. "Sorry, can't," Cassidy continued to the kitchen ignoring the hunger pangs in her stomach as she tried to forget how delicious the food on the dinning had looked when she peeked. "Why is that?" Chad followed closely after her "C'mon babe... don't be like this. I cooked for us and should eat,". "I have a lot to do this morning, Chad," she ignored him as she busied herself at the coffee machine. I simply don't have time for a meal at this rate. Maybe some other time...". Chad sighed as he came close to her. He turned off the coffee machine and gently collected the coffee cup in her hand which he set on the table. Then he held her shoulders and turned her gently so she was now facing him. "What do you want?" Cassidy squeaked trying to break from his firm hold. "I am sorry, Cass," Chad started "I realized that my behaviour last night was inexcusable. I treated you like a trash and I forced myself on you against you will. I'm truly sorry and I hope you can find a place in your heart to forgive me especially since I'm going to promise that it'll not happen again,". The apology was unexpected and left Cassidy stunned as she tried to collect herself and speak. "Well," she shrugged daintily "Your actions in the future will determine if I can forgive you or not but for now... I haven't," she said. "Fair enough," Chad nodded with a gentle smile on his face "Can you do me a favour and just eat with me, this morning? Please...". Chad seldom says Please but when he does, he means it with every sincerity something that Cassidy didn't need to let anyone tell her. She allowed him lead him out of the kitchen towards the dining table. When they got there, Cassidy's eyes scanned the table, taking in all the mouth-watering dishes on the table, he instantly realizedit. "Y-you made this yourself?" she asked fighting the urge to grab the freshly baked croissants staring invitingly on the table. "Well..." Chad shrugged scratching his head. "Why?" she asked, eyeing him. He didn't respond immediately, he pulled out her sit as he settled her against the table and then leaned beside her his eyes filled with amusement and affection. "I didn't want to be kicked out of the house by my wife," he teased dropping a light kiss on Cassidy's cheeks. At that these dishesinstant, Gerald, the butler entered the dining room and he heard Chad's remark. He couldn't resist laughing causing Cassidy to blush deeper in embarrassment as she playfully nudged him by his rib. "You can't change my mind after one meal," she scoffed. "Then I'll cook a few more meals. Anything you want, I'll be willing to make it for you. Do you me to make lunch for you and have it delivered to you?" he suggested, a mischievous glint in his eyes. Cassidy's eyes widened with fright as she turned to him. "Don't you dare," she warned. "If anyone in Wellspring should see you delivering food to me, it'll not only create a huge scandal but I'll be hot topic for every media house throughout the year. Is that what you want?" she huffed. Her response caused Chad displeasure as he scooted close to her again. "You make it sound like I am your secret lover," he said. "Well," the smile drained from Cassidy's face "Aren't you?". "What?" Chad arched his brow at her already getting irritated "If I am your secret lover, then it means you're...". "Stop talking nonsense," she kicked him hard before he could complete his sentence. "That hurts," he complained nursing his smarting leg. "Let's just eat, Chad, else the food will get cold," Cassidy flared, getting irritated by his behaviour. But Chad didn't notice she was angry. He was happy to see that she was talking to him at least and she looked happy an improvement from last night when she was cold and distant. As he watched her eat, he felt that he would never be able to understand her no matter how much he tried. "By the way," Chad said in between spoonful of food "Now that you've taken over H&G, there must be a thousand problems butt don't worry if there's anywhere you want me to help, just tell me. I'll come to your rescue,". Cassidy paused eating as she looked up at him, a smile on her face. "Don't worry, I have everything under control. Be rest assured," she beamed him another smile. Although there were cookedtoo many problems but Cassidy was determined to solve all of them by herself. She didn't want to rely on him anymore. She couldn't risk all of his help accumulating into many debts to the extent that woman, but heshe'll become powerless and humiliated when it's time for their divorce. "Really?" Chad eyed her disbelievingly "Are you sure you're capable of running the affairs of H&G?" he asked again. "From what I was told, the company would need all the expertise to have things turn around,". "And I said I am on it, don't worry," Cassidy insisted as she flashed him a confident smile. "Have you forgotten who I am?". Chad was amused by the proud way she carried herself and was comforted by that. Still her responded solemnly... "Why would I forget? You're Chad Wests' woman - my wife. So, it's only natural that you possess such great power to turn anything you want around,". His reply made Cassidy's heart skip a beat and in response she gave him a stern look. His words had to admit that they were delicious. He grabbed a chair and sat down heavily, "Tell Nova it's dinner time." Nova went out to eat, he couldn't stop complimenting Lola's cooking skills, "Mommy'scaught her off guard so good at cooking. Sheshe didn't know how to commentreact without letting him know that his words affected her. "You know," she sighed "I can't put up with the nonsense you won't stop spilling all day. Since I am done eating, I'm going to head to the company now," she stood to her feet. "Oh!" Chad stood up as well "Then I'll drive you. Let me change into something more presentable," he said gazing at her tenderly. "There'll be no need for that," Cassidy stopped him giving him a stiff smile "I will drive myself,". With that, she turned and walked away leaving a confused Chad in her wake. Chad furrowed his brow, his amber eyes deep in thought as she walked away. He couldn't understand how one minute she was so close and it seemed like she had forgiven him and the next she was cold and distant again. "Was it because of last night?" Chad mused to himself. "I asked her for forgiveness and it seemed like she was ready to put everything in the past or is she harboring resentment towards me?" For the first time in his life, he didn't have all the answers. *** As soon as Cassidy arrived H&G, she asked someone to fetch her Victoria. "Good morning," Victoria stood at the door as she watched Cassidy rifle through files, brows furrowed in concentration. "You remind me so much of, Grace your mother," Victoria said dreamily. "Good morning, Victoria," Cassidy offered her a small smile sparing her a glance "We can reminiscence after but right now, I need you to get me all the name of all the industries, brands, organizations, companies and individuals that have partnered or sponsored any of our movies here in H&G,". "Okay," Victoria nodded slipping into work mode as she pulled out her pocket notebook and began to scribble. "What the big news?" she asked when she was done writing. "Do you know, Director Nathan?" Cassidy asked. "Yeah," Victoria shrugged "Who wouldn't know, Nath. He's a big shot director and was friend of your mother. What's with him?" she asked. "He has agreed to direct our movie and help with the casting of characters but first we must get enough funds because he doesn't like to shoot substandard movies,". "Cassidy," Victoria whooped for joy "That's good news, girl. You're such a hard worker. I'm going to get you all the information you need, ASAP,". Victoria scurried out of the office grinning from ear to ear. Soon, she returned with all the names, Cassidy wanted and excused herself to attend to other business. One by one, Cassidy began scouring over the names after arranging them in other of importance she began to make calls. She was determined to woo all of them one by one and she didn't care if her success rate was going to be high or low. The first person she called was Mr Douglas. He was a close friend of her mother and she had a good rapport with him. "Hello, I am speaking to Mr Douglas," she asked as soon as the call was answered. "You are?" Douglas responded in his usual brisk manner. "Oh, sorry about that," Cassidy chuckled. "My name is Cassidy Hart from H&G. My mom and I used to visit you every now and again. Do you remember?". The other line went silent for a while making Cassidy think that he had dropped the call only for his voice to come on that. She and Amiri Lee were always so far apart. "Mommy, do you miss him?" Theodore staredmoments later. "Oh!" he laughed "I remember now. Cassidy Hart, how are you? Why did you call?" he went straight to the point. "I'm fine sir and I was wondering if you have time to spare, I'd like to ask you out to dinner," Cassidy inquired. "Oh, I'm afraid that's impossible at the woman before him, his eyes twinkling. She turned around and ruffled his hair, "What are you talking about? Why wouldmoment. I miss him?" Mommy blushed. he suddenly noticed. *** Angelique made breakfast for her babies the next day. Theodore noticed she was in a hurry, so he suggested, "Mommy, I'll take Kinsley and Paisley to kindergarten. You don't need to worry about us." "That's right, Mommy, the kindergarten is so close. We'llam abroad," Douglas said. "Oh, but will you be fine." Angelique was moved by her babies, she wanted to send them first and go to the mansion next. Didn't this womancoming back anytime soon. Say in a day or two?" Cassidy asked again unwilling to give up. "I'm not sure my dear. I still have two daughters?a lot of meetings to attend and my schedule is packed right now but I'll let you know as soon as I return to Wellspring, okay?". "Alright, thank you and sorry for the bother," Cassidy said trying to sound cheerful as the call ended. He was not going to call her back. In their line of business, if an investor was interested in investing with you, they'll tell you to set up an appointment with their secretary or give you a specific date but since none was forthcoming, she knew he was a dead end. Undeterred, she moved on the next name. One by one she called the investors and all she heard were excuses and promises to call back later. She didn't even need to take care ofwas getting exhausted and depressed. She had never imagined that H&G had lost so much power and no one was willing to risk investing with them coming here so early? "Mr. Lee, good morning. Is Nova up? I'll make him some breakfast." Nova rubbed his eyes and walked out of his bedroom in his pajamas when he heard Angelique's voice.again. She approached the boy, "Nova, let's go. You need to take a shower." Amiri snapped, "He can do that by himself." Nova cast a cold glance at his dad and walked toward the bathroom. Angelique hurried to the kitchen to make the boy some breakfast. Mr. Smith smiled at her, "Miss, you don't need to make breakfastwas lost in thoughts until Victoria knocked on the door of her office. "Hey C," Victoria whispered "It's noon and time for Nova every day. How can you get sleep coming so early? Mrs. Lee said you only needed to cook lunch and dinner." She felt grateful, Kate was so considerate. Nova took a bitelunch. Are you going?" Cassidy woke up from his sandwich before putting it down instantly. He clearly didn't like it. Angeliqueher reverie as she looked at the boy with a sad lookher watch confirming that it was truly lunch. Immediately she rose to her feet trying to wear a happy smile on her face, "Nova what do you like?face. "Good, I'm actually staring. We should eat together, my treat," she said. Victoria didn't miss the sadness on her face and placed her hand on Cassidy's arm. "Any headway?" she asked. "None," Cassidy tried to maintain her brave smile "It seemed H&G is doomed. No one was willing to ask me our comeback plan. They just gave a couple of excuses before hanging up. I feel so pained, honestly," she complained. "You don't have to, okay. You're doing well already and in due time, all your hard work will pay off. Don't worry, I'll make you something new." "What are you going to make? Now, her wish had finally been fulfilled. These files would usually takehelp you call some other people and I promise we'll get sponsorships, okay?" "Alright," Cassidy nodded. "Let's just forget about everything and go and eat," she added. As they walked through the corridor of the office making small talks, many employees stopped to greet Cassidy and Cassidy responded to all of their greetings with a small smile and also stopped several times to make small talks. They both continued until they arrived at least two hours, the elevator and began to wait for its arrival. Ding! The elevator door finally opened revealing a young man dressed in a formal attire holding a bouquet of flower. Behind him was a large dinning cart filled with covered dishes that immediately filled the atmosphere with delicious scents. He was speaking into the phone stopped as soon as he saw Cassidy. "Are you Miss Cassidy Hart?" the man asked. Cassidy nodded, as she tilted her head to the side eyeing the man with a hint of curiosity in her eyes. "Yes, that's me," she said. "Then this delivery is for you," he said and came towards her stretching the bouquet of flowers to her. "Could you sign here?" the delivery guy pointed at an open space in his book. "Why?" Cassidy questioned but Angelique only took one hour. She was pretty fast. Amiri read the files through in case she would make any mistakes, signed the document as the delivery man had instructed "Who are they from?". The delivery guy didn't saw a word but he didn't find any mistakes. This woman must be calculating or she wouldn't put in so much effort to work in his company.Well, since she askedsimply reached for it, he would teach her a lesson. She could only look atthe dinning cart behind him coldly, "Paul said my only job is to translate them and print them. I don't think I can go pick Nova up from school in time if I need to hand-copy these files word by word." Amiri's face fell, long fingers tapping his desk impatiently. "It doesn't matter. I can send someone else to pick up Nova ."' "But", she still had three babies to pick up from school. "Any problem?" He asked sternly.and rolled it towards Cassidy

Cassidy's eyes widened in shock as she took the card. She didn't know what to say but Victoria's voice brought her back to reality. "Wow," Victoria exclaimed as she eyed the cart with envy. "Your husband is too sweet. If mine could send me stuffs like this while I work, I'll never leave work,". Cassidy blinked rapidly as she tried to collect herself and shove the card in her pocket. "I'll see you later Victoria. I have work I need to attend to," she dismissed Victoria with a small wave as she walked away from the cart leaving Victoria to salivate on her own. "Wait, Cassidy!" Victoria called after her "Are you not going to eat the food?" she asked. Cassidy turned slowly to Victoria "I am not going to eat food from that man," she said stiffly and resumed her walk without looking back.

"I didn't want to be kicked out of the house by my wife," he teased dropping a light kiss on Cassidy's cheeks. At that instant, Gerald, the butler entered the dining room and he heard Chad's remark. Although there were too many problems but Cassidy was determined to solve all of them by herself. She didn't want to rely on him anymore. She couldn't risk all of his help accumulating into many debts to the extent that she'll become powerless and humiliated when it's time for their divorce. His words had caught her off guard so she didn't know how to react without letting him know that his words affected her. The other line went silent for a while making Cassidy think that he had dropped the call only for his voice to come on moments later. "Oh!" he laughed "I remember now. Cassidy Hart, how are you? Why did you call?" he went straight to the point. "I'm fine sir and I was wondering if you have time to spare, I'd like to ask you out to dinner," Cassidy inquired. "Oh, I'm afraid that's impossible at the moment. I am abroad," Douglas said. "Oh, but will you be coming back anytime soon. Say in a day or two?" Cassidy asked again unwilling to give up. "I'm not sure my dear. I still have a lot of meetings to attend and my schedule is packed right now but I'll let you know as soon as I return to Wellspring, okay?". She was getting exhausted and depressed. She had never imagined that H&G had lost so much power and no one was willing to risk investing with them again. She was lost in thoughts until Victoria knocked on the door of her office. "Hey C," Victoria whispered "It's noon and time for lunch. Are you going?" Cassidy woke up from her reverie as she looked at her watch confirming that it was truly lunch. Immediately she rose to her feet trying to wear a happy smile on her face. Don't worry, I'll help you call some other people and I promise we'll get sponsorships, okay?" "Alright," Cassidy nodded. "Let's just forget about everything and go and eat," she added. As they walked through the corridor of the office making small talks, many employees stopped to greet Cassidy and Cassidy responded to all of their greetings with a small smile and also stopped several times to make small talks. They both continued until they arrived at the elevator and began to wait for its arrival. "Why?" Cassidy questioned but signed the document as the delivery man had instructed "Who are they from?". The delivery guy didn't saw a word but simply reached for the dinning cart behind him and rolled it towards Cassidy
CHATBOT: and Victoria. He uncovered the dishes to reveal an array of mouth-watering food. "These are from Mr. Chad West," the delivery man finally spoke, handing her a card. Cassidy took the card and read what was written inside. It was a simple message that said: "Don't forget to eat lunch. I'll see you later tonight. Chad." Cassidy was speechless as she stared at the food and the flowers in her hand. She felt a pang of emotions hit her all at once and tears began to form in her eyes. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" Victoria asked, concerned by her sudden shift in emotions. Cassidy shook her head trying to fight off the tears "No, I'm fine. Let's eat," she said. As they made their way back to the office to enjoy the lunch, Cassidy couldn't help but wonder if Chad was trying to win her back by making a grand gesture like this. She couldn't deny that it was working, but she knew she had to stay strong and guard her heart as she had promised herself.

"Fine," he said straightening "It's my fault that I care about you so much, so I'm going to respect your wishes and leave for the night,". With another kiss on her hair, he got out of bed, turned back and carefully tucked the quilt around Cassidy, his eyes glassy with affection. "Good night, Cass," he beamed a smile at her and with that, disappeared out of the room. The room became quiet as soon as he left and for the first time since that evening, Cassidy felt lonely. She had a lot to do and little time. Chad was hunched at the table dishing food. As she ate, her phone rang. It was an unknown number, but Cassidy picked it up curious about who could be calling her. "Hello?" Cassidy answered. "Hello, Cassidy," the voice on the other end of the phone said. It was a deep, masculine voice that Cassidy instantly recognized. "Chad, why are you calling me?" Cassidy asked tensely. "To ask if you like the lunch I sent you," Chad replied. Cassidy was speechless. She couldn't believe that Chad had sent her lunch. "Why did you do that?" Cassidy asked, her voice trembling slightly. "I just wanted to make sure my wife had a good meal," Chad replied. "And if you don't mind, I'd like to join you for lunch." Cassidy sighed. She was conflicted. Part of her wanted to spend time with Chad but the other part was angry with him for last night. "I don't know if that's a good idea," Cassidy said hesitantly. "Oh, come on," Chad said coaxingly. Chad promised that he would be on his best behavior and Cassidy hung up, her heart pounding in her chest.

At that instant, Gerald, the butler entered the dining room and he heard Chad's remark. "Don't worry, Irequire crucial scrutiny, it was necessary to have everything under control. Be rest assured," she beamed him another smile. Although therehe needed for the harder trips. He had climbed moutains that peaked over the clouds and traversed deserts in harsh conditions. He was a man who knew how to survival in the wild, and step one was to be prepared. Going on business trips were too many problems but Cassidy was determined to solve all of them by herself. Mark wanted her to rely on him anymore. Sheand trust him to be there for her. He couldn't riskdo that if he was unprepared. Whether it was nerves or something else, he was unsettled as he locked up his house to leave. It was that all of his help accumulatingtoo familiar prickling feeling, taunting him that he had forgotten something. Mark knew he hadn't. He had checked his bag three time and had checked everything off his list. He was ready to go and ignored the feeling. If he indulged in it, he would only wind himself up, and then he'd miss the train. Instead, he slipped into his pre-booked taxi, luggage in hand. Mark reconfirmed the destination with his driver and then looked up to catch the driver's eye in the mirror. He froze. With yellowed teeth exposed between parched lips, embedded into a face that look far too wrinkled to still be driving, Mark was certain he hadn't seen the man's face before. He didn't often take taxis, but he was fairly certain he had never been that man's passenger, and yet he seemed familiar. Even his grey hair, reaching into his overlarge leather jacket felt like a sight he had seen before, a sight he had experienced before. Mark probed at the feeling, his brow furrowing when it didn't immediately pass. He had been on many debts to the extentclient trips that she'll become powerless and humiliated when it's timehad begun just like that before, and yet it didn't just feel like a regular trip. It felt eerily familiar, like he had been in that exact spot before. A chill crawled over his skin his mind drifting to thoughts of hot, sticky trains, shaking, panicking, deafening noise, blood, fear... it snowballed until his breath was becoming heavier. "Oi. Oi!" Mark jerked, gruff shouting snapping him from his daze. His head whipped from side to side, and he realised they had stopped moving. The train station loomed out of his window, jeering at him for their divorce. His words had caught her off guard so shehis lapse of concentration. He didn't know how to reactwhere those thoughts had come from but the urge to get out of that taxi overwhelmed him and he moved, only hesitating for long enough to pay before he was out. Without letting himself think, Mark headed into the station. It was crowded but the large room felt oppressive, like he was being packing in from every size, a danger closing tight around him that he couldn't see. He spun on the spot, searching the face of everyone around him. All he knew was he needed to find Rose. A panic welled within him, and he knew he had to get to her and make sure she was safe. "Mark." The soft voice behind him was like a breath of fresh air and it washed through him in a wave of calm that stole all his thoughts that he couldn't quite remember why he had been uneasy. He turned, relief flooding into him when his eyes met Rose's and he was unable to hold back his smile. He caught a light blush entering her cheeks before she looked away, but the moment she did, his smile faltered. He knew he was unsettled but couldn't put his finger on the reason. "Rose." He took a step towards her, dipping his head slightly as if his was hiding his words from others. "Doesn't it feel a bit strange here?" The was a flash of something across her expression, but it quickly melted to confusion. "Strange how?" "I don't know." Mark looked around the station once more, holding his hand against his chest, feeling his slightly elevated heart rate thump its concern. "Today feels..." He couldn't find the words, and when he saw Rose begin to search around too, worry lines creasing her face, he stopped searching. He didn't want to scare her. Not without letting him knowreason. "It's nothing. Here's your ticket, we're headed to platform 3." - - - - Mark's word lingered with Rose, long after he had brushed them off and they had borded the train to Drustead. The truth was she did feel something strange in the air, like a buzz of anticipation. It was unsettling and put her on edge. It was as if she expected something to happen at any moment, and not something good. She tried to think about what it was, but each time she finally felt she had the answer, it slipped away before she could grasp it. Something was blocking her from the truth and the more she pushed, the more her headache grew, until she stopped trying. Nothing seemed out of place, and though Mark's words were strange, she put her own feelings down to being disappointed about missing out on the promotion. "Archery." She answered Mark's question automatically. He had been chatting to her since they boarded the train, but she only been half listening. "Wow, that's great." Mark voice lifted with surprise, but he seemed genuinely impressed. "It's okay." She shrugged, ignoring the heat in her cheeks. "But I'm not interested in joining your outdoors sports club. Rose picked up a magazine that his words affected her. "You know," she sighed "I can't puthad been left on the table between them and began flipping through the pages, trying to lose herself in the celebrity gossip. It wasn't her favourite, but she wanted to deter Mark from talking to her for the whole journey. However, in her disregard she missed the way his face paled instantly at her response. - - - - Things moved quickly when they arrived. Stephen, the manager of the Drustead office, picked them up from the station, taking them to the hotel before they went on to meet the client. They only went for a short dinner before they moved on to drinks, a passtime Gary preferred. Mark thought that Rose wouldn't like the evening. Wining and dining clients weren't for everyone, especially when Gary didn't warm to her immediately, but he was pleasantly surprised. She seemed at home at the bar and quickly won over the client. She kept up with the nonsense you won't stop spillingthem drink for drink, with no issues and she didn't hesitate to join in and sing with the band. With her hair pulled from its usual bun and her shirt falling form its pristine position to lie untucked and wild around her, she was the most casual he had ever seen her. She was beautiful. Mark wasn't the only one who noticed. Gary like drinking with women, which was why Amanda always came to his client meetings, but it looked like he had a new favourite. Given the smile on his face, Mark didn't doubt they'd get the contract that night, but when he saw Gary getting too friendly with Rose, he stepped in. The next time him and Rose went to the bar to get a round, he made sure to get her to move seats and sit at his side. He felt better with her close to him, making sure she was okay. It had been a fun night, though Mark felt the alcohol hit him all at once when Gary left, leaving him a staggering fool. Thankfully, Rose was there for him. He trusted her with the signed contracts and she helped him back to the hotel. However, when she paused to get both of their hotel keycards out, a movement in the glass doors of the hotel entrance made him jerk. He could see a train storming along a track behind them, its engine charging through their reflections with little remorse. Dread pool in his stomach, but as quickly as it had come, it was gone again. Mark frowned, as the feeling it bloomed within him, but it didn't seem like Rose had noticed and they continued to their rooms. As she went to leave him on the bed, Mark grabbed the edge of her blouse. It was a surprise that he managed to do it, considering he was seeing two Roses at the time, but it didn't take much to make her stop. When she turned to look at him, he smiled through his alcohol daze as so many thoughts popped into his mind to say. The strange feeling was still there, did she have it too? Had she seen the train's reflection too? He hadn't known she was so fun, or so beautiful. Everything crowded his tongue, but nothing made its way from his lips. Rose's face softened when he didn't speak, and he was tempted to ask her to stay. He felt an urge to keep her at his side, but he knew he couldn't. He was her boss now; it wouldn't be appropriate. Finally, Mark dropped his hand, but certain he saw a flicker of disappointment in her eyes as she said goodnight and left the room. - - - - Rose didn't feel too bad touring the Drustead office the next day. Since I am done eating, I'mShe was too used to drinking to be hanging, and managed to ward off her headache with some pain killers that morning. Her biggest surprise was at how well Mark had recovered. He had been a mess the previous night, so much so she could've sworn he was going to make a move on her. The sparkle in his eyes almost spoke the words that didn't pass his lips, asking her to say with her in his room. A heat stirred in her belly but she pushed it away. It wouldn't have been appropriate. Anyway, she had heard the rumours about him and Amanda. She wouldn't be another of his work conquests. No matter how handsome, and kind, and sweet, and warm.... No. She wouldn't even think about it. The pair were stood at the platform now, penned in from all sides by other commuters waiting for the train. Rose scanned the sea of faces, while she waited, seeing a variety of people. It was rush hour on a Friday, so more than simple business people were in the crowd. There were families leaving for the weekend, and university students going home for the weekend. As more and more people joined the platform, a wall of people surrounded her, but Mark was quick to pull her close and spread his stance to give her some space. It was sweet of him to do and she took a breath. Finally, the train pulled in, and the crowd began to trudge forward into the carriages. Suddenly, a grip wrapped around her arm and Rose came to a halt. The grip wasn't too tight and didn't cause her pain, but she tensed. Not from fear but from a sharp spike of fear down her spine. Slowly, she turned, to see it was Mark behind her. His features were strained, locked in place, and his face had drained of all colour. "Don't go." His voice was hoarse, his throat tightening around the words. "Don't get on the train." Rose's eyes widened at his expression. She had never seen look like that before and she felt a chill race through her. "Why not?" She managed to ask, though she wasn't sure she wanted the answer. Mark searched her face, his eyes flicking between her and the train. Many people were filing past, but neither of the pair were distracted by the jostling around them. They remained still, waiting for the answer to come, however he couldn't seem to find an answer. With the way his brow creased, it was as if he didn't understand his reason himself. The platform slowly emptied until it was only those two left, but without a reason to not go, Rose pulled from Mark's grip. "Come on, let's go home." She cajoled, stepping closer to the train. Though he was resistant, Mark followed, and they made it onto the carriage just before the doors shut. The train was very busy, seemingly more so than the platform had been, but Mark helped to guide her through the crowd to find some seats. She was only a few steps down the ailse when a sudden sharp pain burst on her head. A man barged past her, his suitcase clutched tight to his chest, but not high enough to miss her. He didn't stop, though he turned to jeer at her like she had gotten in his way. Rose winced and lifted a hand to her head to the company now," she stood to her feet. "Oh!" Chadcover the throbbing bump. Before she could call after the man and shout her annoyance, Mark was at her side and reached for the man, forcing him to stop. He twisted his hand in the man's coat and yanked him back to them. He was surprised, but not as surprised as Rose, who automatically placed her hand on Mark's arm, as if to calm him. "Apologise." Her boss demanded, eyes aflame with anger as he loomed over the man. Frozen in shock, it took Mark growling the word again for him to react. The man stuttered an apology, barely able to meet Rose's eye. Immediately, Mark pushed the man away, but he glared at him until he scurried away. Mark remained there, breathing heavily, seething through his teeth. She could feel a tremble working through his arm, and watched as he lifted his hand, observing the shake there. Mark clenched his fist and forced his hand back to his side. "Thank you, Mark." Rose whispered, drawing his attention. She was grateful for his help and that he had stood up as well "Then I'll drive you. Let me change into something more presentable," he said gazing at her tenderly. "There'll be nofor her, but she needed him to calm. She could feel eyes on them and already felt uneasy. She didn't need for that," Cassidy stopped him givingto make it worse. Thankfully, Mark nodded, and she felt his body sag in release. He took her hand and guided her to some free seats in the middle of the carriage. As Mark sat down, the train pulled from the station, starting their journey home. Rose watched him a stiff smile "I will drive myself,". "My name is <PRESIDIO_ANONYMIZED_PERSON> from H&G. My mom and I used to visit you every now and again. Do you remember?". The other line went silent for a while making Cassidy think that he had dropped the call only for his voice to come on moments later. "Oh!" he laughed "I remember now. Cassidy Hart, how are you? Why did you call?" he went straight to the point. "I'm fine sir and I wasthe corner of her eye, wondering if you have time to spare, I'd like to ask youhe was as on edge as he looked. His body was tense and stiff as he stared out to dinner," Cassidy inquired. Don'tthe window, and she couldn't help but worry, I'll help you call some other people and I promise we'll get sponsorships, okay?" "Alright," Cassidy nodded. "Why?" Cassidy questioned but signed the document as the delivery man had instructed "Who are they from?". The delivery guy didn't saw a word but simply reached for the dinning cart behind him and rolled it towards Cassidyhis earlier words stuck in her mind.
CHATBOT: "What's going on, Mark?" She asked softly, placing her hand on his arm. He turned to her, his eyes searching her face. "I don't know," he admitted. "I just have this feeling, like something bad is going to happen." Rose frowned, concern etched on her features. "Do you get this feeling often?" Mark shook his head. "No, this is different. It's like I've been here before, like I know what's going to happen." Rose didn't know what to say, but she didn't doubt his words. She had felt it too, that strange buzz in the air, like something was coming. She had dismissed it as nerves, but now she wasn't so sure. The train ride was quiet after that, the pair lost in their thoughts and feelings. Mark was still tense, but he seemed to be holding it together. Rose couldn't say the same for herself. The headache that had started earlier was back, and it was stronger than ever. She winced, squeezing her eyes shut as pain shot through her skull. "Are you okay?" Mark's voice rumbled next to her. She opened her eyes, looking at him through a haze of pain. "My head hurts," she whispered. Mark frowned, concern etched on his face. "Do you want me to get you something?" Rose shook her head. "No, I have some painkillers in my bag." Mark nodded, watching as she rummaged through her bag for the pills. She took them quickly, washing them down with some water from her bottle. The pain dulled slightly, but it was still there, a throbbing ache that wouldn't go away. The train ride continued, the pair lost in their thoughts and feelings. Rose tried to distract herself by reading a book, but she found she couldn't concentrate. Her mind kept drifting, thoughts of the strange feeling and the pain in her head consuming her. Finally, they arrived at their stop, the train pulling into the station. As they made their way off the train, Rose felt a sense of relief wash over her. She didn't know what was going on, but she was glad to be off the train. She turned to Mark with a smile, ready to head home and forget about the strange day they'd had. But as they walked through the station, she felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. Something was wrong, she could feel it. She turned to Mark, about to speak, when everything went black. The last thing she heard was Mark's voice, calling her name before everything faded away.

USER: Think a title for Markfor:Mark was used to packing. He went on many business trips with work and in his personal life, and always created a list of necessary items to tick off as they went into his bag. It was a well ingrained habit that he was certain had saved his life a few times. She was too used to drinking to be hanging, and managed to ward off her headache with some pain killers that morning. Rose winced and lifted a hand to her head to cover the throbbing bump. She was grateful for his help and that he had stood up for her, but she needed him to calm. She could feel eyes on them and already felt uneasy. She didn't need him to make it worse. Thankfully, Mark nodded, and she felt his body sag in release. He took her hand and guided her to some free seats in the middle of the carriage. As Mark sat down, the train pulled from the station, starting their journey home. Rose watched him from the corner of her eye, wondering if he was as on edge as he looked. His body was tense and stiff as he stared out the window, and she couldn't help but worry, his earlier words stuck in her mind.
