He wrapped his arms around her and held her close, grateful for these quiet moments they shared together. "Thanks for making dinner tonight, Hajime," Chiaki said, turning her head to look up at him. "It was really good." Hajime smiled down at her. "Anything for you, Chiaki." She snuggled closer, and Hajime felt his heart swell with love for her. He knew he had to tell her how he felt soon before someone else came along and swept her off her feet. But for now, he was content to enjoy this moment, feeling her warm body against his and hearing the sound of her breathing. He closed his eyes and let out a soft sigh, trying to savor every sensation. Together, they remained like that, lost in their own little world of comfort and happiness.
