As Max and Chrissy listen to Mrs. Coleman's advice, they both feel an unsettling chill run down their spines. INT. HAWKINS HIGH SCHOOL - HALLWAY - DAY Max and Chrissy walk side by side to the nurse's office when Max suddenly collapses, grabbing his head in pain. CHRISSY (concerned) Max! Are you okay? Max looks up, dazed, and sees an apparition of his deceased friend standing at the end of the hallway. Chrissy follows his gaze, horrified to see her own haunting vision - a ghastly version of herself, standing with a twisted smile. The terrifying figure of VECNA emerges from the shadows behind the apparitions, manipulating the tormented images of their past. VECNA (evil chuckle) Suffer, my puppets. Your pain shall open the gates for my reign. As Chrissy and Max watch the apparitions in horror, blood trickles from their noses, pooling on the floor and forming the first shadowy outline of a portal. Before Vecna can claim victory, a familiar face appears from around the corner: ELEVEN, now a teenager, recognizes the sinister presence of the Upside Down and focuses her powers to dispel the apparitions, confronting Vecna. ELEVEN You don't belong here. Go back to where you came from. VECNA (laughs) You can delay my plans, girl, but you'll never stop me. The Upside Down will rise. Vecna vanishes, leaving Max and Chrissy bewildered and Eleven assured of what she must do. ELEVEN (determined) I won't let him destroy this world. Max and Chrissy watch Eleven cautiously, knowing they have joined a battle they never anticipated, and the fight to save their world has just begun.

He's drawing more power from their traumatic experiences before he unleashes his plan of invasion. Their lives will soon take a turn for the worse, and they must gather their courage to confront the ultimate enemy that threatens to destroy their town and everything they hold dear. FADE OUT.
CHATBOT: INT. FOREST - DAY Chrissy walks nervously into the forest. She spots Eddie Munson, a heavy metal-loving dude who is the leader of the Hellfire Club, the DnD club that Lucas, Mike, and Dustin are a part of. Eddie looks a bit uneasy as well. EDDIE Hey, Chrissy. I never thought you'd want to buy stuff from me. You sure you want to do this? CHRISSY Yeah, I just need something to help me escape from everything. These nightmares and my mom... it's too much for me to handle right now. They begin their transaction when Chrissy suddenly spots a bizarre sight - a grandfather clock hanging from a tree. The clock seems out of place, and she is unaware that it is a symbol of Vecna, the true leader of the Upside Down. CHRISSY (looking at the clock) Eddie, what is that doing there? EDDIE I don't know, but it's creeping me out. Come on, let's head to my trailer and get out of here. INT. EDDIE'S TRAILER - DAY Eddie and Chrissy sit silently in the dimly lit trailer. As they sit, Vecna manages to put Chrissy into a trance, exposing her to more deeply traumatic experiences. Chrissy is helpless to escape. CHRISSY (screaming in fear and pain) Make it stop, make it stop! Across the room, Eddie watches in horror, feeling powerless to help her. He doesn't understand what could inflict such pain on her. Suddenly, he hears the bones in Chrissy's body snapping one by one. He watches as her eyes roll back, leaving only whites. Horrified, Eddie calls out in panic. EDDIE (deadly scared) I don't know what is happening to you, Chrissy! I'm finding help! He races out of the trailer, leaving Chrissy's lifeless body behind. As he runs, he is unaware that he will be framed for her brutal death. EXT. EDDIE'S TRAILER - DAY Eddie sprints through the forest, adrenaline pumping. As he nears the school, he realizes that he's about to enter a nightmare greater than he could have ever imagined. The true horror is only just beginning to unfold. FADE OUT.
