USER: On this faithful day, Valerie Halla found himself alone on the dark hallways. He tried to avoid American food as much as possible as it was greasy, unhealthy and tasted like plastic. He would have given everything for a Kavelian pie right now. Instead, he would try drinking more water in order to feel less hungry. Just as he was alone, his Russian comrade, Boris came up. "What are you doing here? I told you to get back to work" he said in Russian. Boris didn't speak anything besides Russian so Valerie often had to speak Russian to him. "Anyway, what is wrong with you? Are you doing some kind of weird leprachaun dance?" he asked as he noticed the way Val was dancing around. "If you'd like to know, I need to use the restroom" replied Val in Finish accented Russian. "Well, why the hell don't you go?" asked Boris angrily "Have you seen what kind of bathrooms Americans have? Not only are they infested with germs but they have this giant gap in the floor. There is no privacy" "Well, I certainly hope your bladder will explode soon" said Boris laughing "You're such a pathetic oaf" said Val, his tone matching that of an angry wife.

"Listen to me, we need to get out of here, NOW!" he said urgently. The woman nodded and they made their way out of the room. As they were running down the hallway, they heard footsteps approaching. "We need to hide!" said Val, grabbing the woman's hand. They quickly hid behind a nearby crate just as two armed men walked by. Val could hear his heart pounding in his chest as they waited for the men to pass. Once the coast was clear, they made their way to the exit. As they stepped outside, Val looked at the woman relieved. "We made it" he said, smiling. The woman gave him a grateful look. "Thank you so much. I don't know what would have happened if you didn't come" she said, tears in her eyes. Val just nodded and walked away, feeling proud of himself for saving someone's life. It was a dangerous situation, but sometimes you just have to trust your instincts and do the right thing.
