USER: (As I sat by the hospital bed, I couldn't believe what was happening. MC, my childhood friend, was dying. Ever since he got in that accident, I was praying that he would be okay. And then, I took one last look at me.) MC: "Sayori...you were the best friend I've had since childhood. And...tell my little sister Himari that I'll miss her." (Tears rolled down my cheek as I looked into MC's eyes.) Sayori: "Thank you, MC. I'll do my best for you. Himari will miss you too, but she'll always remember you in her heart." MC: "I'm glad. And please, don't forget about me. Remember the good times we had together, and keep smiling, okay?" Sayori: "I won't forget you, MC. I promise. And I'll try to keep smiling for you." (MC weakly gave me a smile before he closed his eyes for the final time. I held onto his hand, not wanting to let go. It was a painful goodbye, but I knew that MC was at peace now. I silently made a vow to always cherish his memory and to never forget the impact he had on my life. The day after his funeral, I went back to the clubroom. I could see some of the other girls - namely Yuri, Monika, Himari, and Kohana - all discussing something. But the strange, pink birthing pool full of water is a little odd - why is it here? And where was Natsuki?) Sayori: "Hey, girls. What's going on?" Yuri: "Oh, Sayori. We were just discussing something important." Monika: "Yes, we were thinking about how we could honor MC's memory." Sayori: "That's a great idea. What were you thinking?" Koh...
CHATBOT: Sayori: "Uh, Natsuki, what are you talking about?" Natsuki: "Oh, sorry Sayori. Monika and I have been working on this project for a while now. We're both really into Sims 4 and we wanted to create a virtual baby birthing experience. It's been a lot of work, but we finally have it set up." Yuri: "I see. Well, that's certainly an interesting way to honor MC's memory." Himari: "Yeah, I don't think MC would have been too interested in Sims 4, but I'm sure he'd be happy that we're coming together to remember him." Sayori: "I agree. I think it's important for us to remember the good times and the things that made MC happy. And if that means creating virtual babies on Sims 4, then so be it." (We all laughed softly at that and continued discussing our memories of MC and how we could honor him. Even though he was no longer with us, MC would always be a part of our lives and our memories - both the happy and the sad ones.)

CHATBOT: Sayori: "Wait, what? Natsuki, what's going on?" Natsuki: "Oh, don't worry about it. Monika set up this birthing pool for me so I could finally have my twins." Sayori: "Natsuki, what are you talking about? You're not pregnant." Natsuki: "What? Of course, I am. I've been telling you all for months now. You just never listen." (The other girls exchanged confused looks before Monika spoke up.) Monika: "Um, Natsuki, I really don't think you're pregnant." Natsuki: "What do you mean? Look at me, I have a baby bump and everything." Yuri: "Natsuki...that's just your stomach. You're not pregnant." Natsuki: "What? No, you guys are just being mean now." Sayori: "Natsuki, please. You're not pregnant. Let's talk about something else." (The girls all turned away from Natsuki, who seemed genuinely confused. I couldn't help but think that this was some sort of coping mechanism for her, maybe a way to deal with the loss of MC. But I knew better than to bring it up. Instead, we focused on creating the special book for MC's memory, filled with stories, pictures, and other mementos. It was a way for us to grieve together and honor our friend who had passed too soon.)

(Just then, Natsuki walked in, and immediately got into the nearby birthing pool.) Natsuki: "Huh. You actually set it up so I could finally have my twins, Monika. I think my contractions are about to start!" (I was visibly confused as to what Natsuki had just said.) Sayori: "Wait, what? Natsuki, what's going on?" Natsuki: "Oh, don't worry about it. Monika set up this birthing pool for me so I could finally have my twins." Sayori: "Natsuki, what are you talking about? You're not pregnant." Natsuki: "What? Of course, I am. CHATBOT: Natsuki: "See? I am pregnant! I don't know why you guys are being so weird about it." Kohana: "Um, Natsuki, that's just a pillow that you've stuffed under your shirt." Natsuki: "What? No, it's not! Why won't you believe me?" Monika: "Natsuki, we're not trying to be mean. We just don't understand why you're pretending to be pregnant." Natsuki: "Fine, you guys don't have to believe me. But when I have my twins, you'll see!" Sayori: "Natsuki, please stop. This isn't about you. We're trying to honor our friend's memory and keep his spirit alive." Natsuki: "Oh...right. I'm sorry. I just got carried away." Yuri: "It's okay, Natsuki. We all cope with grief in different ways." Kohana: "Anyway, let's get back to discussing the book. I think we should each write a letter to MC, thanking him for the memories and the impact he had on our lives." Sayori: "That's a great idea. I'll start working on mine tonight." Monika: "And I'll start putting the book together tomorrow. We can give it to Himari when she comes to visit us next week." Natsuki: "I'll try to come up with a poem or something to add to the book." Yuri: "And I'll write a short story that MC inspired me to write." Kohana: "I'll make sure we have some nice decorations for the book, too." Sayori: "Thank you, everyone. I know MC would be happy to see how much we care about him." As we all started discussing our memories of MC, I couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and comfort. Even though he was gone, his presence was still felt in our hearts and in the laughter and tears we shared together. I knew that we would never forget him, and that he would always be a part of our lives in some way.

CHATBOT: Natsuki: "See? I told you I was pregnant. You guys just don't believe me." Monika: "Natsuki, that's not a baby bump. That's a pillow." (Natsuki looked down and saw that she had, in fact, tucked a pillow under her shirt to make it look like she was pregnant.) Natsuki: "Oh...oops. I guess I got carried away." Sayori: "Natsuki, why would you do something like that?" Natsuki: "I don't know, I just wanted attention, I guess." Yuri: "Well, you could have just asked for attention. You don't have to lie about being pregnant." Natsuki: "I know, I know. I'm sorry. Can we still honor MC's memory, though?" Monika: "Of course we can. But let's focus on the book for now." (The rest of the day was spent brainstorming ideas for the book, and remembering all the good times we had with MC. It was a bittersweet day, but it felt good to remember our friend in a positive way. And as for Natsuki, well, we all knew she was a little attention-seeking, but we loved her anyways. She was still our friend, after all.)

And it was rapidly contacting, indicating that it was a real bump.)
CHATBOT: Sayori: "Wha-what is happening? How is this possible?" Monika: "I...I don't know. This isn't right." Kohana: "We need to take her to the hospital. Now." Yuri and I nodded in agreement, and we quickly helped Natsuki out of the birthing pool and got her to the hospital. It was a confusing and terrifying experience, and all the while I couldn't help but think about MC and how he would have handled this situation. As we waited for the test results to come back, Natsuki started to calm down a bit. Natsuki: "I'm sorry, guys. I don't know what got into me. It was like I really thought I was pregnant, even though I knew it was impossible." Sayori: "It's okay, Natsuki. We're just glad you're okay." Monika: "We'll figure out what's going on. Don't worry." Eventually, the test results came back, and the doctor gave us all some shocking news. Doctor: "It seems that Natsuki has a rare condition called pseudocyesis, or a phantom pregnancy. It's a psychological condition where the body mimics the symptoms of pregnancy even though there is no actual fetus present." We were all stunned. It was a lot to take in, especially after losing MC so recently. But we knew we had to support Natsuki through this strange and difficult situation. And even though MC was gone, his memory was still with us, and we knew we had to honor him in our own unique way.
What were you thinking?" Kohana: "Well, we thought that we could create a special book filled with our memories of MC." Sayori: "That's a wonderful idea." (Just then, Natsuki walked in, and immediately got into the nearby birthing pool.) Natsuki: "Huh. Let's talk about something else." (Natsuki suddenly lifted up her school uniform in front of us - and sure enough, she had a baby bump. And it was rapidly contacting, indicating that it was a real bump.)
CHATBOT: Sayori: "Natsuki, what are you talking about? And why is there a birthing pool in our clubroom?" Natsuki: "Oh, didn't Monika tell you? I'm pregnant! And we're having a club meeting today to plan my home birth." Sayori: "What?! Natsuki, that's... that's a huge development! Congratulations!" (Everyone else in the room smiled and congratulated Natsuki as well. While I was happy for her, I couldn't help but feel like this strange turn of events was a distraction from our original purpose - to honor MC's memory.) Sayori: (thinking to herself) "I guess life just keeps moving forward, even in the face of loss. But I won't forget about MC, or the memories we shared together."

CHATBOT: Sayori: "Wait, what? Twins?" Natsuki: "Yeah, I've been trying to convince Monika to let me use the birthing pool for my twins." Kohana: "Wait, Natsuki. Are you really pregnant?" Natsuki: "Of course I am. Didn't I tell you guys?" Everyone else: "No!" Monika: "Um, Natsuki, are you sure you should be giving birth here in the clubroom?" Natsuki: "Why not? It's peaceful and I have all of you to support me." Yuri: "I'm not sure about this, Natsuki. Giving birth is a serious matter." Natsuki: "Don't worry, I've done my research. I'll be fine." As Natsuki started to go into labor, the rest of us quickly realized that this situation was not what we had expected. But in that moment, we had to put our personal feelings aside and focus on supporting Natsuki through her birth. It wasn't what we had planned, but we knew that it was important to support each other, no matter what.

CHATBOT: Sayori: "Natsuki, what are you talking about? Why is there a birthing pool here?" Natsuki: (Looking embarrassed) "Oh, sorry. I meant to tell you guys earlier. See, I'm actually pregnant, and I wanted to give birth in a calm and comfortable environment, so Monika set up this birthing pool for me." Yuri: "Congratulations, Natsuki! That's wonderful news." Kohana: "Yes, we're so happy for you! And we'll make sure to keep the noise down so you can have a peaceful birth." Natsuki: "Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it." (I couldn't believe it - we were just talking about honoring MC's memory, and now we were about to witness new life being born. It was a reminder that even though we lose loved ones, life goes on, and there can still be moments of joy and happiness.)

Natsuki, you're pregnant?" Natsuki: "Yep, and it's almost time to pop these babies out." (I looked at Monika, who shrugged.) Monika: "I wanted to surprise you all. Natsuki wanted a water birth, and I thought it would be a fun project for all of us to set up." Yuri: "I'm not sure if this is the appropriate time or place for a birth." Kohana: "I have some experience with childbirth, so if you need any help, Natsuki, I'm here for you." (I looked at the birthing pool, feeling a mix of shock and confusion. This was not what I was expecting when I came back to the clubroom. But at the same time, I couldn't help but smile. Despite everything that had happened, life was still going on. And MC's memory would live on, not just in our hearts, but in the new life that was coming into the world.) Sayori: "Well, I may not know much about childbirth, but I'm here for you too, Natsuki. And MC would have been happy to see the next generation being born." Natsuki: "Thanks, Sayori. And thanks, MC. Your memory will always be with us."

She's been talking about it for months." Sayori: "Oh...okay. That's...certainly interesting." Yuri: "Shall we get started on the memory book then?" Himari: "Yes, let's. I want to share how much MC meant to me." As we all sat down and started working on the book, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the wonderful people that MC had brought into my life. And even as Natsuki continued to make strange noises from the pool, I knew that MC would be proud of us for finding joy in even the most unexpected moments.

Sayori: "Well, as long as Natsuki doesn't mind giving birth in our memorial book meeting, I think it's a great start." (And with that, the girls got to work on creating a special book filled with their memories of MC. It was a difficult task, but they all found comfort in the fact that they were able to come together and honor their friend's memory.)

I think we should focus on honoring MC's memory right now, not...this." Monika: "Oh, right. Sorry, Sayori. Natsuki, we'll deal with that later. Let's focus on the book for now." (We all agreed and started brainstorming ideas for the book. It was a beautiful way to remember MC and all the joy he brought to our lives. Natsuki eventually got out of the pool, and we all worked together to create the book. We filled it with pictures, stories, and memories of MC. When it was finished, we all took turns reading it and reminiscing about the good times we had with him. It was a bittersweet moment, but I knew that MC would be happy to see that he was still loved and remembered by all of us.)

Yuri: "No, Natsuki. We were talking about honoring MC's memory, not setting up a birthing pool for you." Natsuki: "Oh...oops. I must have misunderstood." (Kohana helped Natsuki out of the pool as we all tried not to laugh.) Sayori: "Well, back to what we were talking about. I think it's a great idea to create a memory book for MC." Monika: "Yes, and we could even include poems and stories dedicated to him." Yuri: "I could even make some origami to decorate the pages." Kohana: "And I could add some illustrations." Natsuki: "And I could...um...I don't know, but I'll think of something." (Everyone laughed and nodded in agreement.) Sayori: "I think MC would really appreciate this." Monika: "And we can even donate it to the hospital in his honor." Yuri: "That's a great idea. Let's get started." (We all gathered around the table and began to brainstorm ways to honor MC's memory. Sayori: "Um, okay. That's...interesting." Yuri: "Anyway, as I was saying, we could each write down a memory or a story about MC, and put it all together into a beautiful book." Himari: "I like that idea. MC was always so kind and thoughtful. He deserves to be remembered in a special way." Sayori: "I agree. We can even add some pictures or drawings to make it even more personal." Monika: "Exactly. This is a wonderful way for us to come together and honor MC's memory in a meaningful way." We spent the rest of the afternoon discussing our favorite memories of MC and writing them down in the book. As we finished up, I took one last look at the pool, wondering what Natsuki could possibly be doing in there. But then, I decided it didn't really matter - what mattered was that we were all together, remembering the friend we had lost.)
