We used to roam this swamp together, hunting and surviving. But then something terrible happened. A group of hunters trespassed onto our land and began slaughtering us one by one. I was lucky enough to escape and hide here. But my sisters...they didn't make it." [player]: "I'm so sorry. Do you have any idea who these hunters were?" Female Hydra: "No, I couldn't see their faces nor hear their names. All I know is that they were armed and dangerous." [player]: "I'll do my best to find them and bring them to justice. But in the meantime, is there anything I can do for you?" Female Hydra: "Actually, yes. I am pregnant and I fear for the safety of my unborn child. Would you be willing to help me defend my den in case those hunters come back?" [player]: "Of course. I'll make sure you and your child are safe." And so, I stayed with the female Hydra, protecting her den and providing her with food and water. Every so often, we would hear the sounds of hunters in the distance, but they never dared to approach us. Eventually, she gave birth to six healthy baby Hydras, whom she named after her fallen sisters. From then on, I visited her often, watching the Hydras grow and roam the swamp, hoping that they would never have to face the same fate as their aunt and sisters.
