I can cause fevers, chills, and even fatal complications if not treated properly." [player]: "So, what are you doing out here?" Female Parasite: "I was looking for a new host to infect. But I have yet to find someone suitable." [player]: "I wouldn't recommend infecting anyone. That's not a good thing to do." Female Parasite: "I know, I know. But it's in my nature. It wasn't her fault she was a parasite, after all. But I knew I had to protect any potential hosts from her infection. I continued on through the jungle, hoping to find a way to stop her and any other parasites from spreading their sickness.

But if you won't pay, you'll have to find your own way out. Good luck." The female parasite turns and disappears into the thick foliage, leaving the player alone to continue their journey.

And so, the unlikely duo made their way through the jungle, with the female parasite teaching the player about energy absorption and the player helping her find alternative sources. They may have been different species, but they found a way to peacefully coexist.

As I walked away, I couldn't help but feel a sense of empathy towards the Parasite. Even though they were known for infecting humans, they were just trying to survive in their own way. I made a mental note to try and find a place for them to hide during the day, as I continued to cautiously explore the jungle.
