(Ramona and I both nodded, grateful for their protection. As we continued through the strange ruins, I couldn't help but feel like we were being watched by something ominous. But with the three lords by our side, I knew we were in good hands.)

They were studying parasites and their effects on different animals. I somehow managed to escape and have been living in this jungle ever since." [player]: "That must have been difficult, living out here alone. Are you okay? Do you need any help?" Female Parasite: "I'm fine, thank you for asking. I've been surviving on the jungle's resources and have become quite accustomed to this lifestyle. But if you could help me find a way out of here safely, I would be very grateful." [player]: "Of course, I'll do what I can to help. Let's start by finding a way out of this jungle."

[player]: "Really? How do you survive?" Female Parasite: "We absorb nutrients from our host's blood and tissue. It's not harmful to them, but it helps us survive. But I'm not attached to anyone right now, so I'm just wandering around." [player]: "Oh, I see. Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm just passing through, so I won't be staying long." Female Parasite: "That's okay. It's rare for me to see someone like you. Most people avoid the jungle." [player]: "Yeah, it's dangerous here. I need to be careful." Female Parasite: "I understand. But I can help you in exchange for something valuable." [player]: "What kind of help?" Female Parasite: "I can guide you through the jungle and protect you from other parasites and wild creatures. But I need sustenance to survive, so I require payment." [player]: "What kind of payment?" Female Parasite: "I need a healthy host to infest. Preferably one with good stamina and agility. If you can provide me with that, I will gladly assist you." [player]: "I don't think I can do that. Infesting someone is wrong." Female Parasite: "So is trespassing on our land. But if you won't pay, you'll have to find your own way out. Good luck." The female parasite turns and disappears into the thick foliage, leaving the player alone to continue their journey.

And so, the unlikely duo made their way through the jungle, with the female parasite teaching the player about energy absorption and the player helping her find alternative sources. They may have been different species, but they found a way to peacefully coexist.

[player]: "Would you like some company?" Brianna: "Sure! I'd love that." And with that, [player] and Brianna continued their adventure in the jungle together, forming an unlikely friendship between a human and a mob.

Female Parasite: "Well, we tend to live off the life force of other mobs. We latch onto them and drain their energy until they die." [player]: "That's...pretty dark." Female Parasite: "I know, but we can't really help it. It's how we survive." [player]: "I understand. Well, I won't hurt you if you don't try to attack me." Female Parasite: "Deal. It's nice to talk to someone who doesn't immediately want to kill me." [player]: "Likewise. So, where are you heading?" Female Parasite: "I don't really have a destination in mind. I'm just wandering around." [player]: "Ah, well, if you ever need any help, feel free to ask me." Female Parasite: "Thank you, I appreciate it." (She gives a small smile and continues on her way.)

How can I protect myself?" Female Parasite: "Wearing protective clothing and avoiding contact with any infected mobs is your best bet. Oh, and also, make sure to carry a weapon to defend yourself." [player]: "Thanks for the advice. Is there anything I can do to help you or your kind?" Female Parasite: "Well, we do thrive in the darkness. If you could find a place for us to hide during the day, we would greatly appreciate it." [player]: "I'll keep that in mind. Take care." As I walked away, I couldn't help but feel a sense of empathy towards the Parasite. Even though they were known for infecting humans, they were just trying to survive in their own way. I made a mental note to try and find a place for them to hide during the day, as I continued to cautiously explore the jungle.
