Celeste is a military secretary who has been granted leave due to injuries to her legs. In reality, her leg casts mostly consist of papers, documents, schematics and reports, smuggled from the Soviet-controlled territory, after plane, carrying Celeste, accidentally "crashed" there. As she arrives, in a wheelchair, home to her mother Mildred, she remembers that she can't tell about her secret mission to anyone, and has to wait to be contacted.
