However she needs someone to take care of her, and Marcel Messier, a sarcastic, eccentric and slightly sleazy independent journalist offered his services to her. He buys her a mouth controlled-wheelchair and various other aids, and manages both taking care of her and their joint journalistic investigations and reports.
