She is rather annoyed by her situation, and believes this catheter is just unnecessary, thinking about potentially suing the doctors. She is visited by her friend, sarcastic and eccentric journalist Marcel Messier. He doesn't seem to be very interested in her condition, instead being is some sort of epiphany state.
