CHATBOT: Clementine looks up from staring into the fire, her expression guarded but curious. She nods slightly, but doesn't say anything. "I know you've been through a lot," I continue, trying to choose my words carefully. "And it's none of my business, I know. But...I was just wondering how you're doing. Really." Clementine looks back down at her lap, her hands resting on her knees. For a moment, I think she's not going to answer me. But then she speaks, her voice quiet but steady. "I'm...okay, I guess. As okay as I can be, anyway." I nod understandingly. "I can imagine. It's been tough for all of us, but...I can't even imagine what it's been like for you. Losing so much, going through so much." Clementine seems to shrink in on herself a little, her eyes fixed on the fire. "I'm used to it, I guess. Used to losing people. But it doesn't get any easier, you know?" "Yeah," I say softly. "I know what you mean." We sit there for a while longer, not really saying anything. The fire crackles and pops, sending up sparks into the dark sky overhead. Eventually, I stand up and stretch. "Well, I should probably get some sleep. Big day tomorrow and all that." Clementine nods, still staring into the fire. "Yeah. Goodnight, Luis." "Goodnight, Clementine. And hey, if you ever want to talk some more...I'm here, okay?" Clementine looks up at me, a small smile tugging at the corner of her mouth. "Thanks, Luis. I appreciate it."

CHATBOT: Clementine stares at the fire for a moment before turning her head to face Luis, her expression guarded but curious. "Sure, what do you want to talk about?" she asks, her tone cautious but not unfriendly. She shifts slightly in her seat, bringing her knees up to her chest and hugging them close. Luis leans back against a nearby tree, watching Clementine thoughtfully. "I just... wanted to check in with you, I guess. See how you're doing," he says, his tone quiet and gentle. "It's been a few weeks since all of... you know, since everything happened at the ranch." He pauses, searching for the right words. "I know it's been rough on all of us. But especially you." Clementine nods slowly, her gaze flickering back to the fire. "Yeah. It has been," she admits, her voice barely above a whisper. "But... I'm okay. Mostly." She glances up at Luis again, studying his features for a moment before looking away. "What about you?" she asks, trying to make herself sound more casual than she feels. "How are you holding up?" Luis smiles faintly, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes. "I'm... hanging in there, I guess. It's hard, seeing everyone so scared and unsure about what's going to happen next. And I worry about AJ, and Tennessee, and... well, all of us, really." He lets out a soft sigh, running a hand through his hair. "But sitting here, by the fire, with you... it helps. Just knowing we're all in this together." Clementine nods again, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "Yeah. It does," she agrees, her voice growing a little more relaxed. "I'm glad we're all here. It feels like we can handle anything, as long as we stick together." Luis nods in agreement, his gaze lingering on Clementine's face for a moment before he looks back at the fire. "You know, it's funny... before all this started, I never would've imagined that I'd end up here, with all of you. It's like we're all part of this... this special club, you know?" He grins a little wistfully. "And even though it's really shitty sometimes, I'm kind of grateful for it. Does that make sense?" Clementine smiles back at him, a genuine glimmer of warmth in her eyes. "Yeah," she says softly. "It does." They sit in silence for a few moments, watching the flames dance in front of them. For once, there's nothing they have to do, no one they have to save or protect or fight. It's just them, two survivors sitting by a fire on a quiet night. And in that moment, it feels like it might just be enough.

CHATBOT: Clementine considers this for a moment before nodding slowly. "Okay, what do you want to know?" she asks, her gaze steady on Luis. "I don't know, anything really. What kind of stuff do you like to do?" I ask, trying to start off on an easy note. Clementine shrugs slightly. "I like reading, and exploring. And I used to play piano, before everything happened," she says softly, a hint of nostalgia in her voice. "That's cool. What was your favorite book?" I ask, genuinely curious. Clementine thinks for a moment before speaking. "I really liked 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. It was one of the first books Lee gave me to read," she says, a small smile on her face. "That's a classic. I've never read it myself, but maybe I should," I say, smiling back at her. "So, what about exploring? Have you found anything interesting around here?" Clementine shakes her head. "Not really. We've mostly just been focused on surviving and keeping the school safe. But I hope we can explore more soon," she says, a hint of longing in her voice. "I hear you. Maybe we'll find something cool one of these days," I say, nudging her with my shoulder playfully. Clementine chuckles softly, the sound ringing out in the quiet courtyard. "Maybe we will," she agrees, leaning into the friendly gesture.

CHATBOT: Clementine raises an eyebrow, considering his request for a moment before responding. "What do you want to know?" she asks, her guard still up.

CHATBOT: Clementine nods slowly, still looking into the fire. "Okay," she says simply. "What do you want to know?" She glances over at Luis briefly before looking back at the flames.

CHATBOT: Clementine's brow furrows slightly at the compliment, but she manages a small smile in return. "It's not really something I had a choice about," she says softly. "I've just been through a lot." She turns her gaze back toward the fire, still hugging her knees. "I guess I just try to keep going no matter what, you know?"

CHATBOT: Clementine's guard gradually falls, replaced by a small smile. "Okay, shoot. What do you want to know?" she asks, her eyes scanning my face as if trying to read something about me.

CHATBOT: "I understand, but what do you want to know specifically?" Clementine asks, her eyes still fixed on the fire.

CHATBOT: Clementine nods slowly, still watching the flickering flames. "Okay. What do you want to know?" she asks, her voice quiet. She doesn't make eye contact, instead focusing on the fire in front of her.

CHATBOT: Clementine raises an eyebrow at the sudden change in tone, but doesn't seem to mind. She lets out a small chuckle, a rare sight for her. "What, you think being cute is gonna save us from the walkers?" she jokes, a small smile on her lips. "I don't really think about it. Just surviving one day at a time," she adds, her tone more serious.
