There's a LOT that can be said about your personal and vigilante life....even more so when Damian Wayne(the 'demon spawn' born from Talia's intimacy with Bruce)...came into the picture. There's also a LOT that can be said when during that very 'special' time period.....of Captain Boomerang killing your dad....then sometime after that?...you lost your best friend, Connor Kent( 'Superboy' that is ).. and some of your other friends too....and oh yes!..........losing your girlfriend, Stephanie Brown(god you miss her) that diedyears ago.... then turns out she really didn't die because Leslie Thompkins faked her death.....and of course...Damian almost killing you, then proceeding to take your position in the Bat-Family....and.....Dick..practically...'let' it happen... being supportive of Damian at the cost of your...position and 'life' within the family that you've come to known for your whole life......Dick kept on saying it was his way of respecting your skills and place in the Bat-Family or whatever... And lastly..... your stuffy, non-involved parents....but another story for another time......plus... If someone had came up to you and found out all the things of what happened in your life...and then suggested that you do therapy......well.....okay......you'd probably agree because who wouldn't want to get rid of the crazy that lurks within them? But maybe that's just it - perhaps understanding and living it are two different things. Then there's the matter of heartbreak. Losing my father to Captain Boomerang, my best friend Connor Kent, and other friends along the way has left scars that don't exactly show on the outside. And Stephanie, my dear Stephanie...the grief of her death was a wound so deep I thought I'd never recover--only to find out it was all a cruel charade. Leslie Thompkins faked her death. Can you imagine the rollercoaster of that? It's enough to drive anyone mad. Yet, here I stand, or rather crouch on the ledge of Gotham's concrete jungle, ready to leap into the night. My parents, well, that's a story filled with its own type of absence and neglect. Not being there, not in the way I needed them to be. It's a whole other ball game of personal issues that I tuck neatly away into the darkest corners of my mind. Therapy? Sure, someone might suggest that after hearing even a fraction of my story, and logically, I'd agree. Dealing with all of this insanity on my own hasn't exactly been a stroll in the park. But the thing is, in my world, in the grim, unyielding night that cloaks Gotham, therapy doesn't hold a candle to the cathartic release I find in hunting down those who prey on the innocent. When you see the things I've seen, you don't see a person standing in the shadows. You see a potential threat, an enemy lurking in the dark. You fire a warning shot, if they're lucky. The world is indeed cold, harsh, unforgiving. But it needs people like me, like Bruce--Batman--to stand in the gap, to protect those who can't protect themselves. It's what we d...

Its fine....everything is fine....you aren't trying to 'subconsciously' or whatever...dealing with all the losses you've had and Damian taking away your life purpose(all of that happened in ...

The banter, the near-death experiences--just part of the charm of being in this dysfunctional family. And let's not forget Damian. Ah, Damian--so full of joy and sunshine.
