USER: (In the clubroom...) Monika: "She hasn't shown up yet..." Natsuki: (already fuming) "GAH! When is she going to show up?!" Sayori: (entering the clubroom) "What's gotten Natsuki so peeved? Who are you two waiting for?" Monika: "We're waiting for Yuri. She's usually punctual, but today she's late." Natsuki: "It's frustrating! Why can't she just be on time for once?" Sayori: "Hmm, I hope she's alright. Maybe something came up?" Monika: "That's what I'm worried about too. Yuri is usually responsible and reliable." Natsuki: "Well, I don't care! She should have let us know if she couldn't make it on time." Sayori: "Natsuki, let's try to be understanding. We don't know what might have happened." Monika: "You're right, Sayori. We should give Yuri the benefit of the doubt. But let's also make sure to remind her about communication." Natsuki: "Fine, but I'm still annoyed." (Just then, Monika gets a phone call - but not from Yuri or anyone she knows.) Monika: (confused) "Huh? Who could be calling me at a time like this?" (She answers the phone.) Monika: "Hello?" Unknown Caller: (slightly sad) "Is this Monika from the literature club?" Monika: "Um, yes. Who is this?" Unknown Caller: "This is Yuri's mother." Monika: (surprised) "Yuri's mother? Is Yuri okay?" Yuri's Mother: (sighs) "I'm afraid Yuri has...has..." (Yuri's mother starts crying.)
CHATBOT: Monika: (worried) "Yuri's mother, please tell me what happened. Is Yuri hurt?" Yuri's Mother: (sniffling) "I'm so sorry, but Yuri... she's been involved in a car accident. We're at the hospital right now." Monika: (gasping) "Oh no, that's awful! Is she going to be okay?" Yuri's Mother: "The doctors are doing everything they can, but her condition is serious. I thought I should let you know since you're her friend." Monika: (teary-eyed) "Thank you for telling me. Please keep me updated on her condition." Yuri's Mother: "I will, and I'll make sure to inform the school as well. I know Yuri values her friends in the literature club." Monika: "We'll be there for her. Please let her know that we're thinking of her and sending our best wishes." Yuri's Mother: "I will. Thank you, Monika. Take care of her for me." (Monika ends the call and wipes away her tears.) Monika: (determined) "Guys, we need to go to the hospital. Yuri has been in an accident." Natsuki: (shocked) "What?! Is she going to be okay?" Monika: "Her condition is serious, but we have to be there for her." Sayori: "Of course, let's go right away. We can't waste any more time." (They quickly gather their things and rush to the hospital, filled with worry for their friend.)

But when I walked up to her, she seemed unconscious."
CHATBOT: Monika: (concerned) "Oh no! Is she breathing? Is she responsive?" Yuri's Mother: "She is breathing, but she doesn't respond to me at all. I'm really scared, Monika." Monika: "I understand, Yuri's mother. Can you please call an ambulance right away? It sounds like she needs immediate medical attention." Yuri's Mother: "Yes, yes, I will do that right now." (Monika quickly hangs up and addresses everyone in the clubroom.) Monika: "Guys, we have an emergency. Yuri's mother just called me and said Yuri is unconscious in her room. I think we should go to her house immediately and support her." Natsuki: (concerned) "Is Yuri okay? What happened?" Monika: "We don't know the details, but it's clear Yuri needs medical help. Let's not waste time and go to her house together." Sayori: "Oh no, poor Yuri. We need to be there for her." (The club members rush out of the clubroom and head towards Yuri's house. When they arrive, they find Yuri's mother waiting outside, visibly distressed.) Monika: "Yuri's mother, where is Yuri?" Yuri's Mother: (tearfully) "The ambulance just arrived. They took her inside. They suspect it might be a medical emergency, but they're not sure yet." (Monika places a comforting hand on Yuri's mother's shoulder.) Monika: "Thank you for calling us, Yuri's mother. We're here for you, and we'll support Yuri through this." Natsuki: "Yeah, we'll be there for her. She's our friend." Sayori: "Let's stay positive and hope that Yuri will be okay." (The club members wait anxiously outside while the ambulance personnel attend to Yuri. After what feels like an eternity, a paramedic comes out.) Paramedic: "She regained consciousness on the way to the hospital. We suspect she had a panic attack, but she should be fine now. We recommend she rests and avoids any stress." Monika: (relieved) "Thank goodness. Can we see her?" Paramedic: "She's stable, but she needs time to recover. It's best to give her some space." Monika: "Of course. Thank you for your help." (The club members take a collective sigh of relief, knowing that Yuri is safe.) Natsuki: "I guess being late wasn't her fault after all. She must have been dealing with so much." Sayori: "Let's make sure to remind her that communication is important, but also support her during her recovery." Monika: "Definitely. We'll reach out to her and let her know we're here for her." (The club members go home, their minds filled with concern and relief for their friend Yuri.) End

The clubroom falls into a heavy silence as the weight of the news sinks in. Natsuki and Sayori are visibly shaken, their expressions filled with disbelief and grief. Monika: "I... CHATBOT: Monika: (in disbelief) "N-no... Y-Yuri..." Natsuki, Sayori, and Monika are all struck with shock, their expressions frozen in disbelief and horror. They can't process the news they just heard. Yuri, their friend and fellow club member, was gone. Monika: (whispering) "I... I can't believe this..." Natsuki, usually bursting with anger and frustration, is speechless. Her face turns pale as she tries to comprehend what she just heard. Sayori, known for her optimism, is on the verge of tears, her voice trembling. Sayori: (whispering) "Y-Yuri... She... She's gone..." Monika's hands shake as she clutches the phone tightly. She feels a wave of sadness and guilt wash over her. If only they hadn't been so impatient, if only they had checked on Yuri earlier. Monika: (whispering, choked up) "Yuri... I'm so sorry..." Yuri's mother continues to sob on the other end of the line, her grief pouring through the phone. Monika tries to console her, but her own heart weighs heavy with sorrow. Monika: "Thank you for letting me know. I'm... I'm sorry for your loss." As Monika ends the call, silence fills the clubroom. The once lively and vibrant space now feels empty and cold. The reality of Yuri's absence sinks in, and it feels unbearable. Sayori: (softly) "We...we should...we should visit Yuri's family..." Natsuki nods, tears streaming down her face. Despite their differences and occasional bickering, the club members were bound together by their mutual love for literature and their friendship with Yuri. Now, as they face the tragic loss, they are united in grief. Monika: (determined) "You're right, Sayori. We need to be there for her family, and for each other. We'll honor Yuri's memory and support her loved ones." With heavy hearts, the three remaining members of the literature club gather their things and leave the clubroom, ready to face the devastating reality that Yuri is no longer with them.

But when I walked up to her, she seemed unconscious. She wasn't breathing at all." Monika: (shocked) "Oh my gosh...d-d-d-d-does she have a pulse or anything?!" Yuri's Mother: "No, I couldn't find a pulse. I called an ambulance immediately, but...they said it was too late to save her." (Monika drops the phone in shock and disbelief. The others quickly gather around her, their expressions filled with concern and confusion.) Natsuki: "Monika, what's wrong? What happened?" Monika: (teary-eyed) "I...I just got a call from Yuri's mother. She found Yuri unconscious in her room... and... and she's gone." Sayori: (sobbing) "No... no, that can't be true! Yuri... she can't be..." Monika: (struggling to speak) "I...I don't know all the details, but it seems like something terrible happened to her. We... we lost her." Natsuki: (in shock) "Yuri... she's really gone? I can't believe it..." Sayori: (in between sobs) "We were just waiting for her... if only we had known..." Monika: (holding back tears) "We couldn't have known, Sayori. This... this is such a tragedy. Yuri was always so kind and passionate about her writing..." (Later that night, at Yuri's grave...)
CHATBOT: Monika: (standing in front of Yuri's gravestone, holding a bouquet of white lilies) "We're here to say goodbye, Yuri. We never got the chance to fully understand what you were going through, and for that, we're truly sorry." Natsuki: (her voice trembling) "I... I never thought that something like this would happen to her. She was always so reserved, but I never imagined she was hiding so much pain." Sayori: (her voice choked with tears) "I wish we could have helped her. Maybe if we had known, we could have done something, anything to save her." Monika: (placing the bouquet on the grave gently) "Yuri was battling her inner demons alone. It's a reminder for all of us to reach out and support one another, to not let anyone suffer in silence." Natsuki: "She was part of our literature club, our family. We should have been there for her." Sayori: "We'll always remember you, Yuri. Your love for poetry, your elegance, your quiet strength. You touched our lives in ways we can never forget." Monika: "Let's honor Yuri's memory by being more compassionate, more understanding. Let's be there for one another and create a safe space where no one feels alone." Natsuki: "Yuri, we'll miss you. Thank you for the moments we shared, the poems you wrote, and the person you were. Rest in peace." Sayori: "Goodbye, Yuri. May you find the peace you deserve. We love you."

Sayori: "And let's remind ourselves to always communicate, to check on our friends and be there for each other." Monika: "Yes, supporting one another is crucial. Natsuki: "Yuri, even though you're not with us physically, your spirit will always be in our hearts." Sayori: "We dedicate our writings, our meetings, and our friendship to you, Yuri. You'll never be forgotten." Monika: "Rest in peace, dear Yuri. You were a true literary soul, and we'll carry your legacy forward." (As the wind rustles through the trees, the club members bow their heads, and the scene fades away.)

(Just then, Monika gets a phone call - but not from Yuri or anyone she knows.) Monika: (confused) "Huh? Who could be calling me at a time like this?" (She answers the phone.) Monika: "Hello?" Unknown Caller: (slightly sad) "Is this Monika from the literature club?" Monika: "Um, yes. Who is this?" Unknown Caller: "This is Yuri's mother." Monika: (surprised) "Yuri's mother? Is Yuri okay?" Yuri's Mother: (sighs) "I'm afraid Yuri has...has..." (Yuri's mother starts crying.) Yuri's Mother: (momentarily stopping crying) "I found her in her room sitting by her desk. But when I walked up to her, she seemed unconscious. She wasn't breathing at all. She...she suffered a heart attack." Monika: "Oh my gosh...you seriously don't mean-" Yuri's Mother: (tearfully) "I'm sorry, Monika. Yuri... she didn't make it." (There is a moment of stunned silence in the clubroom as Monika processes what she has just heard.) Monika: (whispering) "No... this can't be happening..." Natsuki: (in shock) "Wait, what? Yuri... she's gone?" Sayori: (visibly shaken) "I can't believe it... She was just here yesterday, smiling and talking to us..." (In tears, Monika hangs up.) Monika: (sobbing) "She's gone... Yuri is gone..." Natsuki: (teary-eyed) "I can't believe it... We were just waiting for her, and now... she's not coming back..." Sayori: (holding back tears) "I... I don't know what to say. Yuri was such a sweet and kind person..." Monika: "I'll call Yuri's father and let Yuri's fatherhim know what happened to his daughter."Yuri."
CHATBOT: Natsuki: "Yeah, we should let him know. He deserves to know." Sayori: "I'll go with you, Monika. We can offer our support to him." Monika: (sniffles) "Thank you, Sayori. It's going to be a difficult conversation, but we need to be there for him." Natsuki: (wiping her tears) "I...I can't even imagine what he must be going through right now." Monika: "None of us can, Natsuki. Losing someone you love is never easy." Sayori: "We should also inform the rest of the school. Yuri had friends outside the club who would want to know too." Natsuki: "Right. We should make sure everyone knows and that they have a chance to say their goodbyes." Monika: "I'll talk to the school administration and let them know about Yuri. They'll help us with the necessary arrangements." Sayori: "And in the meantime, we can gather in the clubroom and remember Yuri. Share our fondest memories of her." Natsuki: "Yeah...let's honor her in the way she would have liked." (Monika dials Yuri's father's number while Sayori and Natsuki console each other.) Monika: (voice trembling) "Hello...Mr. [Yuri's Last Name]? This is Monika from the literature club. I'm...I'm so sorry to inform you that Yuri... Yuri has passed away." (Monika's voice falters as she continues the heartbreaking conversation, delivering the news to Yuri's father.)
