He wanders aimlessly for hours, his thoughts a jumbled mess of memories and instinct. His stomach growls, aching for sustenance, and he sniffs the air, looking for any signs of fresh meat. It's the unmistakable scent of water, pure and clean, and he begins to follow his nose. "I haven't tasted fresh water in months," he thinks, his excitement building.
