"Sorry," Shrek said with a sheepish grin. "Ogres have big appetites." Artie chuckled nervously, trying to ignore the fact that he was sitting naked next to the ogre of his dreams. As they continued eating, however, the peaceful moment was interrupted by a sudden rumbling sound. Shrek let out a massive fart that echoed across the pond, causing several fish to go belly-up from the awful stench. Artie gagged and waved his hand in front of his face, trying to clear the air. "Uh, Shrek," Artie said, trying not to laugh. "Maybe you should lay off the beans next time." Shrek just shrugged nonchalantly, waving a hand as if to dismiss Artie's concerns. "Ogres have layers, Artie," he said with a grin. "And sometimes those layers just happen to be gas-filled." The two of them shared a laugh, the awkwardness of the situation slowly fading away as they continued to enjoy their meal. And as the sun began to set over the pond, Artie couldn't help but feel a strange sense of contentment being with Shrek, stink and all. Despite the not-so-romantic setting, Artie knew that he wouldn't trade this moment for anything in the world. Shrek's green, ogre-like skin glistened in the sunlight as he let out a loud fart that echoed through the pond. Some of the fish nearby went belly-up from the awful stench, causing Artie to gag. "Oops, sorry about that," Shrek said, chuckling. "I guess ogre farts are too much for these fish to handle." Artie couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation. "I never thought I'd be eating with you in the buff in a pond, Shrek. This is definitely a first for me." Shrek grinned, showing off his yellowed teeth. "Well, Artie, you know I like to keep things interesting. And what's more interesting than dining in the nude in a pond?" As they continued to eat, Shrek let out another fart, causing Artie to cover his nose and mouth. "Seriously, Shrek, could you try to keep it down a bit? I don't want to pass out from the smell." Shrek just shrugged, continuing to eat as if nothing had happened. "Sorry, Artie, it's just part of being an ogre. We're not exactly known for our pleasant odors." Despite the stench, Artie couldn't help but enjoy the moment. He was finally getting some alone time with his crush, even if it was in the most bizarre circumstances. As the sun began to set, Shrek and Artie finished their meal and got dressed. They shared a few more laughs before parting ways, but Artie couldn't shake the image of Shrek's green, farting butt out of his mind.
