Caroline has sustained multiple severe injuries in an accident and remains unconscious in the ICU on life support. She is suspended in a supine spinal traction, with external fixators in her spine. Caroline also has ventilator tube inserted in her tracheostomy, feeding tube in her nose, temporary colostomy and urinary catheter, in addition to other tubes, casts and braces she has. Write long, original, interesting, imaginative and unusual scene. In it, Dr. Bends enters Caroline's room to check on her current status. He keeps amusedly talking to himself and unresponsive Caroline, as he thoroughly checks on her condition and makes some preliminary plans about her future treatment. Dr. Bends has to admit to himself that he feels attracted to Caroline, despite her current predicament. He wonders whether she has someone in her life and tries to guess her personality.
