She read a book about the Civil War after Mr. Jenkins asked her to visit a library. Until she fainted and was transported to 1865, when she was stuck in the body of a young lady called Ann Mullins from Salem, Massachusetts, who had witnessed the Salem Witch Trials. Then she met Colonel Robert Gould Shaw.

As she wandered through the streets of Salem, Sabrina soon encountered Colonel Robert Gould Shaw, a prominent military figure from the Civil War era. Sabrina was astonished when she met him, and she quickly began to ask him questions about the war. To her surprise, he knew who she was and even let her help out with the wounded soldiers under his care. As Sabrina worked with Colonel Shaw, she began to learn more about the Civil War, and her passion for history only grew stronger. She also realized that she had been given a unique opportunity to witness history firsthand, and she was determined to make the most of it. Over time, Sabrina grew to love her new life in Salem and appreciated the chance to witness the Salem Witch Trials. She also learned valuable lessons from Colonel Shaw about the importance of standing up for what you believe in, even when others may oppose you. Finally, after what felt like months, Sabrina felt herself fainting again, and when she woke up, she found herself back in the library, with the Civil War book by her side. Sabrina was relieved to be back in her own time, but she knew that her experience had changed her forever. She felt more passionate than ever about history and was grateful for the chance to witness history firsthand, even if it was only for a brief moment.
