She locked her ankles around his neck with frightening precision, her calves like iron bands forcing Christian's breath to come in halting gasps. He tried to break loose from her clutches, the once attractive limbs now suffocating him. With every passing moment, it became harder to fight, and Velvet's deceptively strong hold worsened.
