It looks awesome! HOMER (smirking) Well, I hope you enjoy it because you won't be seeing it! BART What? Why not? HOMER Because you got yourself suspended, boy! Bart's eyes widen in shock. BART (accusingly) Suspended? How? I didn't do anything that bad! Homer dismissively waves Bart off. HOMER It doesn't matter! You behaved poorly at school, so you're grounded. No Itchy and Scratchy movie for you! Bart slumps down, visibly devastated. MARGE Homer, maybe we should reconsider. It's been a month, and Bart has learned his lesson. HOMER (resolute) No way, Marge! The punishment is set! He needs to face the consequences of his actions! INT. SIMPSONS KITCHEN - NIGHT The Simpson family sits around the dinner table. Homer grabs a beer from the fridge. MARGE (interrupting) Homer, I think it's time we deal with a serious issue. Homer looks up, puzzled. HOMER Serious issue? What is it, Marge? MARGE We need to discuss your excessive drinking. It's detrimental to our family. HOMER (defensive) But I work hard all day, and I need to unwind! MARGE (firmly) You're banned from drinking alcohol until you show significant improvement! Homer's eyes widen, mirroring Bart's reaction earlier. HOMER (angry) You can't do that, Marge! Well, maybe not. But with enough convincing... INT. SPRINGFIELD CHURCH - DAY The Simpson family attends Sunday Mass. HOMER (desperate) Oh, Lord! Please grant me the strength to resist temptation! I'm so desperate for beer! The door creaks open, and Lovejoy steps forward, outraged. LOVEJOY (appalled) I cast thee out, gluttonous Homer, for thou art not worthy of my holy sanctuary! Everyone turns to Homer, shocked. He looks sheepish. HOMER (grinning) Well, that didn't go as planned. INT. SIMPSONS LIVING ROOM - DAY Bart is sitting alone, sulking. Homer enters the room, carrying a VHS tape. HOMER (resigned) Alright, boy. You've served your time. BART (rejoicing) Really? I can finally watch the Itchy and Scratchy movie? Homer sighs. HOMER (grinning) Yeah, yeah. Go nuts. Just make sure you learn from your mistakes. Bart hugs Homer tightly, expressing his gratitude. BART Thanks, Dad! I promise I won't get into trouble like that again. They share a heartfelt moment before Bart quickly rushes to the TV, popping the tape in. FADE OUT.
