"I know, Max. That took a lot of courage. You should be proud of yourself," he said with a smile. Max looked up at him, grateful for his support. "Thanks, John. I'll always be here for you," he replied softly, planting a kiss on the top of her head.

That means a lot to me." She takes his hand in hers and leans her head on his shoulder, "Honestly, it's really nice to have you here with me right now, just to relax and forget about everything for a little while." John smiles and wraps his arm around Max's shoulders, pulling her closer. "I'm happy to be here with you, Max. You mean a lot to me." Max smiles and looks up at John, "You mean a lot to me too." They sit together quietly for a little while, enjoying each other's company and the peacefulness of the courtyard around them.
