CHATBOT: In the darkest corners of Gotham City, beneath the labyrinth of concrete and neglect, the sewers have long been a place of secrets and hidden dangers. It was here, in the dripping shadows and echo of water against the quietude of the underworld, that Dick Grayson found himself reborn, transformed into something he never imagined he could become. The man once known as Nightwing had encountered countless perils in his days, fighting alongside Batman and on his own, but none so strange as this. The mission was supposed to be straightforward--an infiltration to dismantle one of the Penguin's new illicit operations. But as is often the case in Gotham's endless nocturne of crime, things took a turn for the unexpected. A vile concoction of mutagens, developed by one of the more deranged minds the city had to offer, had spilled in the midst of their skirmish. Nightwing, caught in a direct exposure to the churning concoction, felt his body warp, his entire being rewritten at the most fundamental level. As the chaos of the transformation subsided, Dick rose to his feet, his senses sharper and his body entirely altered. He was no longer the acrobatic vigilante that had swung through the night sky--no longer even male. In place of the man was a black and blue figure, a lean, lithe female anthropomorphic crocodile, her skin toughened into scales that glistened beneath the scant light filtering through the manhole covers above. Despite the absence of a tail, there was no denying the reptilian aspect of her new form, with eyes that gleamed with an ancient wisdom. His--now her--muscles coiled with a new kind of power, athletic and formidable. The mutation had also granted Dick an unexpected silhouette, with pronounced breasts and wide hips that contrasted with her otherwise combat-ready physique. But it was the stark, short-cropped hair that reminded her of who she used to be, a vestige of Nightwing's familiar face reflected back from the murky waters below. As he fought valiantly against the overwhelming odds, a desperate move by one of his assailants resulted in a shattered vial of unknown contents splashing over him, its sinister, glowing contents seeping into his pores. The transformation was swift, agonizing, and utterly surreal. Now, as Dick stood in Gotham's sewers, muscles aching and heart racing, he, or rather she, inspected her reflection in the murky water.
