Kirby, undeterred by the towering figure of the Bat, proceeded to dance around him, continuing its happy chirps and exuding a sense of joy so pervasive that even the grim shadows seemed to retreat. Batman, ever the tactician, attempted to communicate, his voice maintaining its characteristic gravel, "Who are you? What brings you to Gotham?" Kirby paused, tilting its head, before responding in its own unique way, simply puffing up larger, as if to display its ability to replicate the Batman's imposing silhouette, complete with a mimicry of Batman's cape made from its own body. Understanding the futility of questioning further, Batman decided to adapt. If Kirby was a creature of innocence, perhaps it could lead him to troubles hidden even from his keen senses--troubles that preyed upon the innocence of Gotham. And so, the night unfolded in an unlikely partnership. Kirby, with its inexplicable powers, and Batman, with his unmatched skills, stumbled upon a gang plotting in the shadows. The gang, caught off guard by the sight of Gotham's feared vigilante accompanied by what appeared to be a cheerful pink balloon, found themselves too stunned to react effectively.
