CHATBOT: FADE IN: INT. BIKINI BOTTOM - DAY We open on the familiar underwater town of Bikini Bottom. Everything is as we remember it - colorful and whimsical. Plankton is in his lab, trying to come up with his latest scheme to steal the Krabby Patty formula. Suddenly, the scene changes. INT. DARK ROOM - NIGHT The lighting is now dim and ominous. A single light bulb flickers overhead as we see a sinister figure setting up a camera and tripod. The camera is turned on, and we hear the whir of the tape as it begins to record. SIMON: (V.O.) Hello and welcome, my friends to my latest experiment. I want to see what happens when we combine the unsettling world of analog horror with the innocent and lovable world of SpongeBob SquarePants. Simon, the man behind the camera, turns toward a small TV set on the floor. The screen is flickering with static. Simon picks up the TV and sets it onto a table. SIMON: (into the camera) So, let's start our journey into this unknown territory. We then see a strange sequence of unsettling images cross the screen as we hear a distorted version of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song. CUT TO: INT. SPONGEBOB: (confused) Last time? What do you mean? MR. KRABS: (serious) It's better if you don't know, lad. Just keep your wits about you and be careful. SpongeBob nods, and they both enter the Krusty Krab. CUT TO: INT. KRUSTY KRAB - DAY The restaurant is bustling with customers, and the familiar sounds of sizzling Krabby Patties fill the air. It was a beautiful day in Bikini Bottom and they were all excited for another day of work. But that was about to change. Suddenly, the TV in the Krusty Krab turned on by itself and static filled the screen. The gang was confused, but then the static cleared, and they saw something entirely inappropriate for their beloved cartoon show. The show had been corrupted, and they could see creepy images of distorted faces, blood, and gore. It was as if the analog horror and weirdcore had invaded SpongeBob's world. The gang couldn't believe what they were seeing, and they were scared. The show was no longer their beloved cartoon, but a nightmare that they couldn't escape. Everywhere they turned, there was more darkness and horror, and no way out. As they tried to escape the corrupted Bikini Bottom, the gang encountered their friends and neighbors. But they too were corrupted by the analog horror. Sandy was no longer a sweet squirrel, but a monster hideously distorted. Similarly, Gary was no longer a cute snail, but a grotesque creature, and Plankton was now a faceless entity.
