"I should definitely hit the club like this," Derek mused, imagining the attention and admiration he would receive from others. "Who says you have to be born a certain way? I can be whoever I want to be, whenever I feel like it!" As the night wore on, Derek continued to revel in his feminine persona, experimenting with different styles and attitudes. He danced, sang, and chatted with imaginary friends, reveling in the sense of liberation and self-expression his ability afforded him. "I may be alone in my apartment, but damn, I am living my best life!" Derek declared, twirling around the room and winking at his reflection in the mirror.
