The contractor tells both women to go inside his office as he has good and bad news for them. The good news is the tournament will start soon, the bad news is that only one of them can go. Alizia argues that she has been fighting for him ever since she arrived to New York over 1 year and Jannet was new, though Jannet argued the contractor had promised him that position, this started enmity between both women. Finally contractor gave his reasons, though Alizia had more experience and was his only best fighter before Jannet had arrived, Alizia also had 16 wins and 3 loses, meanwhile Jannet was undefeated, it was hard for him to decide on his veteran fighter or his fighter with the most potential. He arranged for both women to fight it out and the winner would get her shot at the tournament. Both women took a gaze at each other, realizing they had been pitted against each other but secretly this being what they really wanted.
