Clementine presses her lips together, considering his words carefully. After a moment, she nods again and begins to speak, her voice low and hesitant. "It's just...everything that's happened. All the people we've lost. I keep thinking about them, and I can't help wondering if things could have been different. If there was some way we could have saved them." Luis listens attentively, his expression sympathetic. "I know how you feel. When I was on my own, before I met up with your group, I lost a lot of people too. It's hard to let go of that feeling that maybe we could have done something more. But we have to try and focus on what we can do now, you know?" Clementine nods again, the ghost of a smile crossing her face. "Yeah. I know. It's just hard sometimes." "I get it. It's hard for all of us." Luis leans back against the wall behind him, his gaze still fixed on Clementine. "But we're still here. And we have to keep pushing forward, no matter how scary or difficult it might be. That's the only way we're going to survive." Clementine nods once more, her gaze fixed on the flames dancing in the fire. "You're right. Thanks for talking to me." Luis smiles at her and leans over to extinguish a small ember that pops out of the flames. "Anytime. We're in this together, after all."

CHATBOT: Clem looks up from the fire and nods, "Sure, I don't mind talking." She sits cross-legged, facing Luis with her back straight and hands rested on her knees. "What's on your mind?" she asks politely. Luis takes a deep breath, looking at the fire for a moment before turning to Clem. "I don't know, just... thinking, I guess. About what we've been through, what's to come." Clem nods in understanding, "Yeah, it's a lot to think about. But we've been through worse, right?" Luis chuckles bitterly, "Yeah, I guess you're right. It's just hard to imagine any kind of future in this world. It feels like we're always just trying to survive." Clem looks at him seriously, "But we are surviving, and that's what matters. We have each other, and we're at a safe place now. We can start thinking about the future, about what we want it to look like." Luis smiles at Clem's words, "You know, you're right. You're always so wise beyond your years, Clem." "I don't feel very strong most of the time," she admits quietly, looking down at her hands. "But... thank you. I appreciate you saying that." She looks back up at Luis, a small smile playing at the corners of her mouth. "What made you decide to tell me that?" she asks, genuinely curious.

CHATBOT: Clementine looks up at Luis and nods, "Sure, what do you want to talk about?" She asks, adjusting the backpack that's next to her. Luis looks out into the darkness for a moment before turning to Clementine, "I don't know, really. It's just nice to have someone to talk to sometimes." Clementine nods her head, "Yeah, I know what you mean. It's been a long day." Luis nods, "Yeah, it has. You know, you're one of the toughest people I've ever met. I don't know how you do it all." Clementine smiles slightly, "I've had a lot of practice." Luis chuckles, "I bet you have. You know, I used to be scared of everything. But being here, with everyone, it's made me realize that I'm stronger than I thought." Clementine nods her head, "That's good. It's important to know how strong you really are." Luis looks out into the darkness again, "You know, there's something that's been on my mind for a while now. Something I've been wondering about." Clementine looks at him, "What is it?" Luis takes a deep breath, "Do you ever think about what life was like before all of this happened? You know, before the walkers?" Clementine nods her head, "Yeah, sometimes. But then I think about how things are now, and I don't know if I would even want to go back to the way things were." Luis nods slowly, "Yeah, I know what you mean. I just sometimes wonder if things will ever go back to the way they were." Clementine looks down at the ground for a moment before shrugging, "I don't know. But I don't think we should give up hope that things will get better. We just have to keep fighting and keep moving forward." Luis nods in agreement, "You're right. As long as we stick together, we can make it through anything." Clementine smiles slightly, "Yeah, we can."

CHATBOT: Clementine looked up from the fire, her expression unreadable in the flickering light. After a moment she nodded silently, and Luis took that as permission to continue. "I know we only just met, and I'm sorry if this is too forward, but...well, we've been through a lot. And I feel like being here, in this moment, with you...it's important, you know?" Clementine didn't respond, but she didn't seem to be pushing him away either. Encouraged, Luis continued. "I don't know what the future holds for any of us, but...I just wanted to say that I'm glad I met you. Even under these circumstances. You're one tough kid, Clem. And...I respect that." He wasn't sure if he was babbling, but he couldn't seem to stop. There was something about Clementine that made him want to confide in her, to peel back his layers a little and show her the person underneath. "I don't know if you feel the same way, of course. And I don't want to pressure you into anything. But...I wanted you to know that you have a friend in me. If you need someone to talk to, or to watch your back, or...whatever. I'm here for you, okay?" Luis trailed off, watching Clementine carefully for any reaction. There was still that unreadable quality about her, but he thought he saw a flicker of something in her eyes. Something like...gratitude? Or maybe just acknowledgement. After a moment, she finally spoke. "Thanks, Luis. I appreciate it." It was a small response, but it was enough. Luis grinned, feeling like he'd just made a breakthrough. "You know, we should go on a mission or something. Just the two of us. Show these walkers what we're made of!"
