I can't seem to figure out what this so-called Essence of Evil is supposed to do ever since I got it from that weird-looking dude back in Yo-kai City...not to mention, you're following me 24/7 and this bag starts glowing when you're like, an INCH away from me - even though you're a Mysterious-tribe Yo-kai. Also, what does this bag full of the stuff have to do with Wicked-tribe Yo-kai?!" Smogmella: "Well, Natsuki, the Essence of Evil is a powerful substance that can corrupt even the purest of hearts. It's said that Wicked-tribe Yo-kai feed off of this energy and become stronger. That's why I've been keeping an eye on you, to make sure you don't fall prey to its influence. We need to be careful and find a way to safely dispose of it before it causes any harm." Natsuki: ""Wait, so you're saying this stuff can actually make me evil?! That's crazy! I definitely don't want any part of that- ...Tublappa...don't you dare..."

And so, Natsuki, Smogmella, and Tublappa make their way to the Yo-kai Watch headquarters to safely dispose of the dangerous Essence of Evil, hoping to prevent any harm from coming to the Yo-kai world.
