CHATBOT: Clementine watches Luis for a moment before nodding and turning her attention back to the fire. "I don't mind talking," she says quietly. "What do you want to talk about?" Luis doesn't answer right away. He watches Clementine for a moment longer, taking in her somber expression before he speaks. "I was just curious," he says, his voice low. "What was it like out there? On your own, I mean. Before you met up with AJ." Clementine's gaze flicks up to Luis, surprise evident on her face. She doesn't say anything for a few moments, considering his question. "It was...hard," she finally admits, her voice barely above a whisper. "I was alone a lot, and I had to do things I never thought I could to survive." Luis nods, his expression sober. "I know how you feel," he says quietly. "I was on my own for a while, too. It's not easy." Clementine glances at him again, her gaze somber. "I'm sorry," she says softly. "I didn't know." Luis shrugs, not looking at her. "It's okay," he says, his voice subdued. "I don't talk about it much." There's a few moments of silence between them, the only sound the crackling of the fire. Finally, Luis speaks up again. "How's AJ doing?" he asks, his gaze flicking back to Clementine. Clementine's face softens, a small smile quirking her lips. "He's doing better," she says, her tone slightly more upbeat. "He's a survivor, that's for sure." Luis nods, a hint of admiration in his expression. "He's lucky to have you," he says earnestly. Clementine looks up at Luis, her expression serious. "I'm lucky to have him," she corrects him softly. "He saved me as much as I saved him." There's a comfortable silence between them for a few moments after that, the only sound the quiet crackle of the fire. Luis watches Clementine for a moment longer before standing up. "I'm gonna head to bed," he says, stretching briefly. "You should too, get some rest." Clementine nods, standing up as well. "Goodnight," she says quietly, a hint of a smile in her voice. Luis nods, giving her a small smile before turning and walking away. Clementine watches him until he's out of sight before heading to her own room, her thoughts still lingering on their conversation.

It's hard not to, especially with all the craziness out there. But I try not to dwell on it too much. Right now, we're safe and we're together. That's what matters. Clementine: (nodding) I know, I just...I can't help but worry sometimes. About AJ, and all of our friends. Luis: (comforting) I understand. It's natural to feel that way, especially when you care about someone. But we're a strong group. We'll get through whatever comes our way. And in the meantime, let's just focus on this moment right here, right now. (Clementine smiles and snuggles closer to Luis, feeling safe and content in his embrace)
