CHATBOT: [player]: "Oh my. We need to get you to safety. Do you have a nest or a den nearby we can go to?" Emerald: "Yes, I have a nest close by. It's in a tree just a few minutes away." [player]: "Alright, let's go. I'll escort you and make sure nothing harms you or your babies." (I follow Emerald through the jungle as she leads me to her nest. I help her settle in and make sure she's comfortable. As the contractions intensify, I watch in awe as tiny Parasite larvae start to emerge from her swollen belly.) [player]: "Wow. You're a tough mother, Emerald. These little ones are lucky to have you." Emerald: "Thank you. I'm just glad they're safe now. You've been so kind to me, even when I was just a little Parasite. I'll never forget your kindness." [player]: "You're welcome, Emerald. It's the least I could do. Just remember, if you ever need my help again, just let me know." Emerald: "I will. And thank you again." (As I make my way back to the base, I can't help but feel grateful for the strange encounters I've had in this mysterious world. With each new mob, I learn a little bit more about this strange, mutated world and the creatures that inhabit it.)

But something about her outfit caught my eye - she was wearing a light green sweater alongside a light green dress, both of which had red polka-dots.) Female Parasite: "Uh...hi?" [player]: "...I've never seen a mob like you before. W-what are you supposed to be?" Female Parasite: "...I'm a Parasite." [player]: "Huh. Parasite...that's one of the newest mobs I've seen so far. But how come I don't usually see any of you around?" Female Parasite: "We don't usually go out in the sun. But if you just so happen to kill a Zombie, we'll burst out in a swarm." [player]: "Interesting. So you're like a type of parasitic fungus that infects zombies specifically?" Female Parasite: "Yes, that's correct. We feed off of the zombie's energy and eventually burst out to find our own food." [player]: "That's quite the survival strategy. But what about humans? Do you pose any threat to us?" Female Parasite: "No, we don't typically attack humans. We only target zombies. But if you come across a group of us, it's best to leave us alone and let us do our thing." [player]: "Got it. Well, it's nice to meet a new type of mob. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you in the future. What's your name, by the way?" Female Parasite: "My name is Emerald." [player]: "Nice to meet you, Emerald. Stay safe out here in the jungle." Emerald: "You too. And watch out for the zombies." (I watch as she disappears into the undergrowth. I decide to head off back into the base for the night. But when I woke up, I heard the most annoying buzzing sound I ever could, as if a massive insect was flying around me. I looked outside the window to see somebody watching me. She was around 26-29 years old, and she looked like she was wearing armor. But the strangest thing about her weren't the four wing-like accessories she was using to fly, but her belly - it was massive, but I didn't know what she was doing here.) [player]: "AAH!" Emerald: "...you don't recognize me?" [player]: "Wait, you're Emerald? But you look so different! What happened to you?" Emerald: "I never got to mention this to you when we first met, but I was going under metamorphosis. And now the metamorphosis has completed, and I have turned into my true form - a Vespa." [player]: "A Vespa? As in a genus of wasp?" Emerald: "Yes, that's right. My species is known for our ability to fly and our venomous sting. But don't worry, I'm not here to harm you. I actually came here to thank you." [player]: "Thank me? For what?" Emerald: "For sparing my life when we first met. You could have easily killed me, but you chose not to. And because of that, I was able to complete my metamorphosis and become a Vespa, which is my true form and the form I was always meant to be." [player]: "I didn't know sparing your life would have that kind of impact. But you're welcome, I guess. But how come mobs like Parasites and Vespas are starting to appear now?" Emerald: "It's all thanks to the sudden increase in radiation levels in the world. It's causing mutations and genetic changes in various organisms, including mobs like us. They're attacking other mobs, including ones that are much larger and stronger than them." [player]: "That's not good. Do you want me to help?" Emerald: "If you could, I would greatly appreciate it. I'll lead you to their nest, but be careful. They may not recognize me anymore and could attack us both." [player]: "Alright, lead the way." (We make our way through the jungle, and eventually come across a large tree with a hole in the side. Inside, we can hear a buzzing sound, and I can see small flashes of red movement. Emerald turns to me with a pleading look in her eyes.) Emerald: "Please, can you help me save my babies?" [player]: "Of course, let's do this." (Together, we enter the nest, prepared to face whatever mutated Parasites lay within. As we fight our way through, I can feel Emerald's gratitude and determination emanating from her. We battle for what seems like hours until we finally reach the heart of the nest, where the mutant Parasite queen awaits.) Emerald: "This is it. This is where they're all coming from. Destroy the queen, and we may be able to stop them from spreading." (Player fights the Parasite queen, using all their skills and weapons to take her down. When the queen finally falls, the buzzing sound stops, and all the Parasites in the nest stop moving.) Emerald: "We did it. Thank you, thank you so much. My babies are safe now." [player]: "No problem, Emerald. I'm just glad I could help." Emerald: "You've done so much for me already, but...is there anything I can do to repay you?" [player]: "Actually, I was wondering if there are any other mutated mobs out there that I could encounter. I find them fascinating." Emerald: "Oh yes, there are plenty. Let me show you some." (And with that, Emerald takes me on a tour of the mutated mobs of the jungle, showing me just how much radiation can affect the world. And as we walk among them, I can't help but wonder what other surprises this world has in store.)

And I promise to make sure my babies don't cause any trouble." (I watch as she flies away, her belly buzzing with the movements of her unborn Parasite babies. It's strange to think that even mobs can have families and reproductive systems. But it goes to show that in this new world, anything is possible.)
