In a fit of rage, Sonic charged at the trio, but they used their abilities to overpower him. They then unleashed a powerful spell on Sonic and his friends, turning them into undead beings, forever trapped in their current state. Days turned into weeks, and the once great heroes were now feared by the people of Avalice. They had lost all hope of ever returning to their former selves, until one day Lilac approached Sonic with a plan to lift the curse. The plan involved finding three mystical gems hidden across Avalice, which would have the power to lift the curse. Sonic reluctantly agreed to team up with Lilac, Carol, and Milla, believing that this was the only way to regain his former life. As they journeyed across Avalice, the four of them formed a strong bond and Sonic found himself falling in love with Lilac. However, he could not act on his feelings as their survival depended on their friendship. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, they found the three mystical gems and lifted the curse, becoming their former selves once again. But the betrayal and the pain of their past still lingered, and Sonic knew that nothing would ever be the same again. As they parted ways, Sonic looked back at Lilac and knew that he might never have the chance to tell her how he truly felt. It's so good to see you," Sonic exclaimed as he ran up to her. "Hey Sonic, what brings you to Avalice?" Lilac asked. "I heard that there's a new restaurant opening up in town and I wanted to check it out. Want to come with me?" Sonic asked. "Sure, why not?" Lilac replied. As they made their way to the restaurant, they noticed that something was not quite right. People were running around in panic and chaos was everywhere. "What's going on?" Lilac asked. "I don't know, but I have a feeling that we're about to find out," Sonic replied. Suddenly, a group of zombies appeared out of nowhere and attacked them. Sonic, being the fast and agile hero that he was, managed to fight them off and protect Lilac. "We have to get out of here," Sonic said. They ran as fast as they could, trying to find a safe place to hide. But it seemed like the zombies were everywhere and they were getting closer. "We're not going to make it," Lilac said, starting to lose hope. But Sonic wasn't ready to give up just yet. He had an idea. "Follow me," he said and led her to an abandoned laboratory. "What are we doing here?" Lilac asked. "I think I may have found a cure for this zombie outbreak," Sonic explained. He rummaged through the lab's equipment and found what he was looking for. "This should do the trick," Sonic said and injected himself with the serum. Suddenly, Sonic started convulsing and Lilac watched in horror as he transformed into a zombie. "I'm sorry, Lilac," Sonic moaned as he lunged towards her. To be continued...
