Beautiful sexy young woman Aslaug Storlie enters, wearing a hospital gown, awkwardly and stiffly swinging her legs covered by bilateral HKAFO braces, holding herself on her crutches. Reza and Aslaug great each other warmly, perhaps too warmly. They are really into each other, but don't want to make that fact too obvious. As Aslaug struggles to lower herself onto Reza's bed, he attempts to help her, though in his position, the assistance is rather limited. They clumsily move in order to get into a better position. Reza attempts to help, but can only offer his arms out as Aslaug painfully lowers herself onto the bed. ASLAUG (appreciative) Thanks for the support. REZA (smirk) Thanks for the support? Darling, your crutches give you better support than I do right now. They finally settle into position, crutches strewn on the floor. Aslaug sighs as they lay beside each other. REZA I never thought I'd see the day we'd be so close...and so far apart. ASLAUG (nostalgically) Remember that last weekend before the accident? I wish we could go back to that sun-soaked beach. Reza's fingers brush gently over the back of Aslaug's hands and up her arms, and she shivers in delight. REZA (whispering) I remember...your skin, warm and soft under the sun...fingers entwined, the taste of your lips... They lock eyes, and the attraction is undeniable. Slowly, their lips meet in a cautious, tender kiss, fully aware that they must hold their passion in check. As Marcel's investigations start getting close to uncovering some truths, Bends and Gleswick notice him, but don't wantcan't figure him out. After unsuccessful attempts to make him silent (barely thwarted due to Marcel's unique ability), they decide it is better to use him as an unwitting pawn. For that fact too obvious. As Aslaug struggles to lower herself onto Reza's bed, he attempts to helpreason they create a fake "independent" journalist Alienor Cuillerier, who just "happens" to meet Marcel and become his associate and partner. Through her, thoughBends and Gleswick hope to manipulate Marcel and further the orders of their mysterious superiors. Soon, a new character appears to be acting mostly behind the scene - Salvatrice, Marcel's mother, who apparently has prophetic abilities, able to see the future. Unlike Marcel, she works for various intelligence and corporate entities, which complicates their relationship, yet she is willing to use her connections to protect her son. Ironically, usually Marcel does not use his ability very well, inadvertently often putting his opponents on his trail or, on the other hand, withholding his ability out of excessive caution, where it would have been useful. At the same time, Bends' and Gleswick's convoluted and diabolical plans often do not go as projected due to reality and common people behaving unexpectedly. The show uses avant-garde cinematography, with unique, unusual shots, either haunting or breathtaking, visually reminiscent of European 1960s cinema. Its colors, in his position, the assistance is rather limited. They clumsily move in order to get into a better position. Reza and Aslaug embrace and kiss lightly, awarecontrast to most of modern television, are very bright, almost acidic. The soundtrack consists of neo-freakbeat compositions. The episodes range from traditional mystery thrillers, to dystopian political satire, to light-hearted romantic comedy bordering on farce, to quirky phantasmagoria with talking cars and infinite buildings, to psychedelic philosophical opuses about nature of existence. Their gazes lock, and their consciousnesses suddenly exchange - a blur of harrowing scenes and unknown memories flash across the screen, throwing both characters into disarray. INT. MARCEL'S APARTMENT - CONTINUOUS Marcel tries to hide the effects of their connection, leaving Alienor uncertain whether anything has happened at all. Distressed, she stumbles back against the wall, urgently grasping at her head. ALIENOR (Whispering) What... what just happened?
