I have a family emergency going on right now, so I won't be able to make it." Sayori: "Oh no, I hope everything is okay! If you need any help or support, we're here for you." Natsuki: "Thanks, Sayori. That means a lot. I'll update you guys later when things settle down. Just go on without me for today." Monika: "Of course, Natsuki. Take care, and don't worry about the club. Family is important, and we understand." Yuri: "We're here for you, Natsuki. If there's anything we can do to help, please let us know." Natsuki: "Thanks, guys. I appreciate it. I'll talk to you soon." (Sayori hangs up the phone and turns to Monika and Yuri.) Sayori: "Natsuki won't be able to make it today. (Sayori, Yuri, and Monika split up and scour the school grounds, checking classrooms, the library, and even the cafeteria. But there's no sign of Natsuki anywhere.) Sayori: "I've checked everywhere, and I can't find her. What if something really bad happened?" Yuri: "We can't jump to conclusions, Sayori. Let's go back to the clubroom and regroup. Maybe she'll show up soon." (Back in the clubroom, the three girls anxiously wait for Natsuki to arrive. Natsuki: (sniffles) "I...I'm sorry I'm late. Something happened at home, and I had to deal with it." Yuri: "Natsuki, you don't have to apologize. We were really worried about you. Is there anything we can do to help?" Natsuki: (pauses, then softens) "Actually, it would be nice if I could talk about it. I just... I don't know what to do anymore."
