Reza and Caroline sustained multiple injuries in a car accident. They have been discharged from hospital and are expected to make full recovery, but currently are wheelchair-bound by their numerous casts and braces, having to wear adult diaper due to incontinence. They are awkwardly maneuvering around furniture and trying to help each other with their daily tasks. Caroline suspects Reza of having a relationship with either their shy young nurse Luciana Vipari or Anneliese Ehn, crippled singer Reza met in hospital while Caroline was in intensive care. Reza denies these accusations, even if he is not himself completely sure exactly how true they are. Reza tries to retaliate by bringing up Caroline's ex-fiance Marcel Messier, but Caroline is having none of it, especially since Marcel is a journalist, just like Reza, who even introduced them. And while we're at it, what about that singer Anneliese from the hospital? Reza slumps back in his chair and pinches the bridge of his nose, frustrated. REZA You really want to do this now, Caroline? There's nothing going on, believe me. CAROLINE I guess I would, Reza. I just need to know. Reza clenches his teeth, trying to stay calm. REZA Nothing. Nothing happened, Caroline. Reza, now trying to hit back, brings up Caroline's ex-fiance. REZA You know what, Caroline? At least I didn't have an entire engagement with Marcel Messier.
