They try shaking them, calling out to them, and even resorting to poking some of them, but nothing seems to work. Valefor: (frustrated) "This is hopeless! How can everyone be in such a deep sleep?" Mindy: "Maybe there's something or someone causing it. We should search the cavern for any clues." Valefor: "Good idea. Let's split up and cover more ground." Mindy nods again, and the two aeons separate, flying in different directions within the cavern. They search every nook and cranny, looking for any signs of disturbance or anything out of the ordinary. After what seems like hours, they reconvene in the center of the cavern, both empty-handed.
