The next higher denomination, Nickel, went by the name 'Serf'. Barmaids, stable hands, and farm laborers used Serfs for their daily lives. It barely afforded them a loaf of bread or a few candles to light their humble abodes. Serfs weren't considered much better than Poppers by the upper classes, but they could be used for times when the beggars could spare a hot meal. Climbing the ladder, 'Craftman' is the name given to Chromium coins. They were the base currency and held enough value for daily transactions. Merchants, craftsmen, and general laborers primarily utilized Craftsman for their everyday needs. Chromium coins functioned in a versatile manner, giving its users access to a wide range of basic goods and services. 'Peddler', the Zinc coin, saw more exchange among shopkeepers and aspiring business lords. They acquired groceries, clothes, and tools of the trade with Peddlers. Journeyman craftsmen and apprentices too partook in Peddler transactions, edging closer to their dreams of mastery in their respective fields. The Tin coin, aptly named 'Trader', found most use within the mercantile class. These polished circles of metal allowed traders and merchants to set up stalls in the vibrant markets of Aurora and peddle their exotic wares. Fine silk, aromatic spices, and rare trinkets all exchanged hands for the trade-entwined tin denomination. Next on the list is 'Noble', the Brass coin, which served the needs of the minor nobility.
