USER: Dan agreed to let his colleague Nicky try to hypnotize him last week, and he turned out to be extremely hypnotizable. Nicky's been putting him under and giving him suggestions all week, including one that he will not consciously remember the hypnosis. In this script, Angela notices that Dan looks totally dazed and doesn't respond to her greeting or even seem to notice her as he stands making a coffee. She watches as he takes it over to Nicky's desk and gives it to her. (Angela's initial suspicion is that Dan & Nicky are secretly dating)
CHATBOT: INT. OFFICE KITCHEN - DAY [ANGELA enters the kitchen to find DAN standing by the coffee machine, staring blankly ahead as the machine dispenses coffee into a mug. She waves a friendly hand at DAN, but he doesn't react.] ANGELA (Concerned) Dan? Hey, Dan, you okay? [DAN doesn't respond, taking the freshly brewed coffee and carefully walking towards NICKY's desk. ANGELA follows with curiosity etched on her face.] INT. OFFICE - CONTINUOUS [At NICKY's desk, DAN places the coffee beside her without saying a word. NICKY looks up with an unreadable expression, nods quietly, and returns to her work. DAN turns and walks back towards the kitchen, still appearing dazed.] ANGELA (Whispering to herself) Something's not right here. [ANGELA approaches DAN as he walks back past her.] ANGELA (Softly) Dan, are you sure you're alright? You didn't even hear me earlier. [DAN pauses for a brief moment, giving ANGELA a vacant stare before continuing on his way without a word.] ANGELA (Musing, mostly to herself) That's just odd. I've got to keep an eye on this. [ANGELA watches from a distance, suspicion growing. She sees DAN returning to his tasks, still with a glazed look. She makes a mental note to talk to NICKY about it later.] ANGELA (To herself) I'll get to the bottom of this, Dan. Hang in there. [ANGELA returns to her desk, her eyes lingering on DAN and NICKY, contemplating their strange behavior and the possibility that there might be more than meets the eye to their dynamic.] FADE OUT.
