Mike's eyes lock onto Dan's, and he begins the hypnosis session with a calm and steady voice, guiding Dan into a deeper and deeper state of relaxation. He uses a swinging pendant to focus Dan's attention. MIKE (focused) ...And with each swing, you feel more relaxed, more open, letting go of all your worries... Gradually, Dan's eyes close, and he slumps in the chair, completely under Mike's influence. MIKE (impressed) Well, he's a natural. Watch this. Mike gives Dan a few ridiculous but harmless commands, showing Helen that Dan is fully hypnotized. HELEN (smirking) How about making it so I can do that? MIKE (raising an eyebrow) You want to be able to hypnotize him? Helen nods, mischief sparking in her eyes. MIKE (considering, then consenting) Alright, but we keep it ethical. Nothing harmful or embarrassing for Dan. Agreed? HELEN Agreed. Mike leans in toward the hypnotized Dan. MIKE (softly but clearly) Dan, when you wake up, you won't remember this part. But whenever Helen uses the phrase 'Time to focus, Dan,' you'll feel this calm, obedient state washing over you. Your mind will go blank, and you'll be ready to listen. Mike looks back at Helen, making sure she memorizes the phrase. HELEN (practicing) 'Time to focus, Dan.' Got it. MIKE And to come out of it, Helen, you say, 'Back to work, Dan,' and he will return to his conscious state, as alert and capable as ever. No recollection of being under. HELEN (nodding) 'Back to work, Dan.' Perfect. Mike wakes Dan up. Dan blinks, coming to, looking around slightly disoriented but quickly snapping back to reality. DAN (wondering) Did it work? USER: The next day, Helen tries something out, just a little something - getting a tranced Dan to make her morning coffee and bring it in to her office.
CHATBOT: INT. OFFICE BREAK ROOM - MORNING The break room is quieter in the early morning hours, only a few staff members present, chattering quietly while preparing their morning brew. DAN enters, heading to the coffee machine to make his own cup. HELEN sneaks in after him, her eyes on Dan, eager to test the post-hypnotic suggestion. She clears her throat to catch his attention. HELEN (politely) Morning, Dan. DAN (turning to her) Hey, Helen. Early day, huh? HELEN (slyly) Yeah, it is. Dan, time to focus, Dan. Dan's eyes glaze over slightly, and his posture relaxes as the familiar trance washes over him. DAN (voice soft, obedient) Time to focus. Dan turns back to the coffee machine, his actions now precise and deliberate, as Helen walks out to her office. He prepares not his own coffee, but a cup exactly how Helen likes it. After a moment, he picks up the cup and walks out of the break room. INT. HELEN'S OFFICE - CONTINUOUS Helen is sitting at her desk, anticipating Dan's arrival. Soft footsteps announce his presence as he enters with the steaming cup of coffee. Without a word, he places it on her desk. HELEN (smiling) Thanks, Dan. DAN (nodding submissively) You are welcome. HELEN (appreciative but cautious) Back to work, Dan. Immediately, Dan blinks, his expression clearing as he comes out of the trance, looking slightly confused but alert. DAN (scratching his head) Did I just...? Helen stands up, steering the situation away from any suspicion. HELEN (chuckling) You were about to make yourself some coffee but seemed a bit out of it. I guess we're all a bit zombie-like before our first cup. You made mine while you were at it... thanks for that. DAN (bemused) Oh, okay. Sure, no problem. Dan offers her a grin, unaware of the underlying manipulation, and turns to leave. After a beat, he shakes off the confusion and walks out. Helen watches him go, her smile lingering with a hint of newfound power and a touch of guilt hidden in her expression. FADE OUT.

Hearing this, the watching Helen smirks thoughtfully and asks Mike to give Dan a few post-hypnotic suggestions allowing her to easily put Dan deep into this obedient & mindless state herself, that he will not consciously remember.

Do you understand? DAN Yes, I understand. Mike turns to Helen, lowering his voice further. MIKE (whispering) You can use this to help him de-stress or focus. It's like a mental reset. And he won't consciously remember these commands. They'll just... work. Helen's eyes shine with a mixture of curiosity and mischief as she processes this new power at her fingertips. She smirks thoughtfully. HELEN (whispering back) Mike, let's add one more thing. When I say 'refresh and resume', Dan will come out of his trance feeling great, with no memory of being under.
