USER: Ben and Jamie grew up together on the same block since they were 3, they have always been best friends. Ben is athletic and adventurous, and Jamie is a total Tomboy. She wears her brown hair short, has big eyes, and wears shorts and a tank top at all times, often with a backwards baseball cap. There has never been anything romantic between Ben and Jamie, even after he went through puberty and became a tall, muscular, handsome boy. Ben thinks of Jamie as "one of the boys." One morning Jamie wakes up having gone through a growth spurt of her own. Her breasts seem to have doubled overnight and she's feeling a strange nervous tension in her body. Ben finally looks up and does a double take. "Whoa, Jamie, you grew!" "I know, right? It's crazy! And...I feel weird. Like, really weird," Jamie admits, fidgeting with her hands. "What do you mean?" Ben asks, now fully focused on her. "I don't know, like...I feel...hot? Like, overheated, you know?" Jamie tries to explain, feeling embarrassed. Ben nods slowly, trying to understand. "Uh, yeah, I guess I get it. Like when you get nervous or something?" Jamie shakes her head. "No, it's not like that. It's like...I'm attracted to you, Ben. Like, really attracted to you," she blurts out, feeling her face turn red. Ben stares at her for a moment, stunned. "What? Jamie, what are you talking about?" "I don't know, it's just...you look different too, you know? You're taller, and you have muscles, and...I don't know, I just feel different around you," Jamie tries to explain, feeling her heart racing. Ben shakes his head, trying to process everything. "Jamie, come on. We're best friends, we've known each other forever. I'm not attracted to you, and you're not attracted to me. We're just...us, you know?" Jamie looks down at her feet, feeling embarrassed and disappointed. "I know, I know. I'm sorry, Ben. I just feel weird." Ben puts a comforting hand on her shoulder. "It's okay, Jamie. We'll figure it out together, okay?" Jamie nods, feeling grateful for his support. "Thanks, Ben. You're the best." Ben smiles at her, feeling relieved that everything is back to normal...or at least, as normal as it can be when your childhood best friend suddenly becomes a beautiful woman.
