Out from the darkness steps Sam, the infamous trickster from the horror movie Trick 'r' Treat. The two combatants stare each other down, ready to engage in battle. The Player: "I don't know who you are, but I'll take you down with ease." Sam: "You may be a hero, but tonight, I'm in charge of the tricks. And trust me, you're going to be my treat." The two rush towards each other, and the battle begins. The Player starts off by unleashing a flurry of attacks, using his weapons mastery to unleash a variety of strikes on Sam. But Sam is no slouch, and he deftly dodges The Player's blows and retaliates with his own. Sam: "Is that all you got, hero? I expected more from the perfect protagonist." The Player: "You talk a big game, but you can't back it up!" The two continue to trade blows, neither getting the upper hand. But The Player knows that he has another trick up his sleeve. He activates his plot manipulation powers, altering the narrative in his favor. The streets begin to warp and twist, and Sam is left confused and disoriented. The Player seizes the opportunity to strike, delivering a powerful blow to Sam's torso. Sam: "What the hell is happening?! This isn't fair!" The Player: "I make my own rules, Sam. And tonight, my rule is simple: you lose." But Sam isn't done yet. He summons his demonic pumpkin minions to aid him in battle. The Player realizes that he needs to up his game, so he unleashes his full range of abilities. He manipulates space-time to move at an incredible speed, dodging the pumpkin attacks and retaliating with his own. He creates a multitude of universes to distract Sam, but the trickster sees through the ruse. Sam: "You think you're so clever, don't you? But I've seen through your lies." The Player: "What lies? I'm the hero here, and I always come out on top." Sam: "Not tonight, hero. Tonight, you're going to die."
