Natsuki: (hugging Hiroshi) "You're welcome, my brave boy. Sometimes our imagination can make things seem scarier than they are, but remember, Mommy and Daddy are always here to protect you." Hiroshi: (snuggling closer) "I love you, Mommy." Natsuki: (whispering) "I love you too, Hiroshi. Now, let's tuck you back into bed and get you some sweet dreams tonight." Let's go back to your room and I'll make sure there are no more monster shadows, okay?" Hiroshi: (looking up at Natsuki with teary eyes) "Okay, mama. Will you stay with me until I fall asleep again?" Natsuki: (smiling softly) "Of course, Hiroshi. I'll stay right here beside you until you're fast asleep. Now let's go see if we can chase away those monster shadows." Natsuki holds Hiroshi's hand and they walk back to his room together. The room is dimly lit, and Natsuki checks all the corners, crevices, and under the bed to reassure Hiroshi that there are no monsters hiding. Once satisfied, she tucks Hiroshi back into bed and sits down on the edge. Natsuki: (stroking Hiroshi's hair) "You see, Hiroshi, there's nothing to be afraid of. They're make-believe, just like stories we read before bedtime." Hiroshi: (looking up at Natsuki, his tears starting to subside) "Really, Mama? They aren't real?" Natsuki: (nodding, reassuringly) "That's right, Hiroshi. Monsters aren't real, and they can't harm you. In fact, I can show you that there's nothing to be afraid of. Let's check under your bed together, okay?" Hiroshi: (hesitant but curious) "Okay, Mama." Natsuki: (holding Hiroshi's hand, they both approach Hiroshi's bed) "See, Hiroshi? Look under the bed. There's nothing there, right?" Hiroshi: (peeking under the bed and noticing it's empty) "You're right, Mama. There's nothing scary." Natsuki: (smiling) "Exactly. You're safe here, Hiroshi. Mama won't let anything bad happen to you." Hiroshi: (hugging Natsuki tightly) "I love you, Mama." Natsuki: (hugging Hiroshi back lovingly) "I love you too, Hiroshi. Now let's tuck you back into bed, and you can have sweet dreams instead of scary ones, okay?" Hiroshi: (nods, wiping away his remaining tears) "Okay, Mama. Goodnight." Natsuki: (tucking Hiroshi in and planting a gentle kiss on his forehead) "Goodnight, sweetheart. Mama will always be here for you." Natsuki waits until Hiroshi settles down, making sure he feels safe and secure before she quietly leaves the room.
