CHATBOT: In the grand yet ominously shadowed Gothic architecture of Gotham's cathedral, the scene was set for an event no one would have predicted. Not the often gruesome battles against crazed villains nor the dark nights patrolling the eerily silent streets had prepared the city for this - the wedding of Dick Grayson and Harley Quinn. Zatanna, stationed at the organ, seemed genuinely perplexed. Her fingers danced over the keys as she reminded herself, "*Wedding and funeral music are not the same, Zee. Not the same.*" There's a wry smile on her face, the kind that knows the absurdity of reality outstrips fiction. "*Always a good time to practice smiling,*" she mutters to herself, inadvertently playing a chord that sounded suspiciously mournful before swiftly correcting with a lively wedding march. The hall was a cacophony of disbelief and drunken merriment. Jason Todd, bottle in hand, took a heroic swig just as Stephanie Brown, equally inebriated, voiced a thought loud enough for nearby guests to hear. "*So, if Harley marries Dick, does that make her 'family' now?*" Barbara Gordon, watching from her wheelchair, had perfected the art of the twitching eye-smile, a masterclass in maintaining composure whilst internally screaming. She was certainly, absolutely, positively not reminiscing about her own complex history with Dick. "According to Huntress, no mind control," whispered Dinah to a disbelieving Vixen, while a caffeine-starved Tim Drake contemplated the merits of mixing coffee with alcohol as a method to erase the current reality. Away from the chaos, Poison Ivy sighed, the complexity of feelings evident in her expression. "*Harley and Nightwing... hmph.*" Her past with Harley wasn't something easily forgotten, but there was an undeniable part of her that wished happiness for her ex, albeit begrudgingly. Killer Frost was there purely for the schadenfreude, reveling in Batman's visible frustration. Catwoman, ever the observer, could only hazard a guess at the whirlwind of emotions the Dark Knight was experiencing. Amid the chaos, Clayface had no agenda other than to witness the spectacle, and Signal doubted his own reality, pinching himself in a futile attempt to wake from what surely must be a dream. Batwoman, Cyborg, the Flash (Wally West), Superboy, Huntress, Raven, Donna Troy, Cassie Sandsmark, Starfire, Garth, Arsenal, and even Two-Face, who somehow ended up officiating, each had their moments of disbelief, resignation, anticipation, or simple hunger. In th...
