The aim is to write something that has an outstanding plotline, engaging characters, interesting, witty, snappy dialogues and atmosphere, feel and style of 1930s Europe. Write a long, original, artistic, imaginative, humorous, titillating, risque and amusing chapter narrated by beautiful, assertive, sexy young woman Patricia Bertier from the first person perspective in her usual sarcastic and sultry language. Patricia Bertier and Caroline Hertig are two young beautiful aviatrices who are recovering from their multiple severe injuries sustained in the crash of their Potez 62 airliner. Caroline's family is rather rich, and she decides to go their mansion to better recuperate and take Patricia as well. As they are brought in, Patricia in her wheelchair and Caroline on her wheeled bed, they are greeted by Caroline's mysterious father Albert, stern and elegant mother Sabrine and sister Mireille, who seems to have a difficult relationship with Caroline.

As we approached, the enigma that was Albert Hertig, the man responsible for half of Caroline's genetic makeup, stepped out onto the dais. A magnificent beast of a man, he was tall and broad in a way that seemed to command the surrounding winds to change direction on a whim. His well-tailored suit sat on him as if it were attempting to contain an avalanche, and his immense hands engulfed Caroline's fragile ones as he attempted a paternal hold. The lovely Sabrine and the equally lovely Mireille in tow, the family seemed poised to welcome us with open arms. Well, I say open arms, but I should have known that Sabrine and Mireille would be less than delighted. The moment their gazes landed upon our battered bodies, one might have thought they'd locked eyes with a pair of mangy vagrants rather than relatives in need of respite. Sabrine pursed her lips, the sort of colorless grimace that speaks volumes without uttering a word, while Mireille's smile transformed into a lascivious leer that belied her feigned innocence. Cloistered safely between the folds of Caroline's family, I shivered slightly, feeling as if I had, perhaps, been offered up as some sort of sacrificial lamb. "Patricia, darling," Caroline chimed in her lilting voice, obviously hellbent on diffusing the situation. "Please allow me to introduce you to my family. This dapper specimen over here is my father, Albert Hertig, and the two ice queens attached to him are my mother, Sabrine, and my sister, Mireille." Albert inclined his head, the beginnings of a genuine smile gracing his stern features. "Miss Bertier, the pleasure is all ours. Caroline's father, Albert, ignored us entirely while he read a book and sipped on his scotch. Caroline's mother, Sabrine, didn't even bother to look up from her embroidery. Only Caroline's sister, Mireille, seemed interested in us, but for all the wrong reasons. Mireille had this wicked glint in her eye, and I couldn't help but feel like she was sizing us up, measuring us against some invisible standard. She seemed to take every opportunity to insult Caroline, offering her cooking tips and reminding her, in not-so-subtle language, that she would never be able to fly again. I took it all in stride, though. I'd been in enough scrapes in my life to know how to handle myself. I was still beautiful, after all - even if my legs were permanently paralyzed - and that was enough to ruffle Mireille's feathers. One day, when we were alone, Mireille approached me while I was dozing on the terrace in the sun. "You know, Patricia," she said, her voice low and sly. "I think you and I could be friends." I opened my eyes and looked over at her, suddenly suspicious. "What do you mean?" Mireille gave me a wicked little smile, her eyes colder than a Siberian winter. "I know what you and Caroline are up to. Flying planes, gallivanting across the countryside like a couple of wild women... it's indecent, if you ask me. But I also know something else. Something that might interest you." "What?" I said, still wary. "My father has some very interesting contacts. Men who could help you and Caroline to fly again, if you're interested." I wanted to scoff at her - no one could fix my legs, no matter how powerful or connected their contacts might be - but I couldn't help the way my heart leapt at the idea. I'd given up on the idea of flying again, but the thought of it still made me ache. "What do you have to gain from this?" I asked, trying to keep my voice even. Mireille shrugged. "I just want what's best for Caroline. And I think that you, Patricia, could be a very valuable friend to her." I thought about it for a moment, mulling over the possibilities. It was a tantalizing offer, and one that I couldn't help but consider. "Alright," I said, finally. "I'm interested."
