"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," Mia stuttered, her pronunciation not yet perfect. Izzy huffed, folding her arms. Mia picked up a block and held it up to Izzy's face. "Look, I buil'd it!" "It's built, Mia," Izzy corrected, frowning. Mia's face scrunched up in frustration. "BUI-HILT!" she yelled, throwing the block at Izzy. "Girls, what's going on?" their mother, Mrs. Rodriguez, asked, coming into the room. Izzy signed fast, explaining what happened. "Mia, use your words," Mrs. Rodriguez said gently, crouching down next to her daughter. "I buil-hilt and she zz-napped," Mia said, still holding the block in her hand. Mrs. Rodriguez looked at the block, then at Izzy. "Did you take her block, Izzy?" Izzy shook her head fiercely. "No, I didn't take it! She threw it at me and then she hit me!" Izzy signed, showing her bruise. Mia started to cry and mumble incomprehensible words. Mrs. Rodriguez hugged her. "It's okay, Mia, it's okay," she said soothingly. Izzy looked away, feeling guilty. She knew Mia couldn't control her actions sometimes, but it still hurt when she got hit. Mrs. Rodriguez sighed, picking up Mia. "Girls, I think it's time to take a break from playing for a while. Let's get a snack and watch a movie together, okay?" Izzy and Mia nodded, and the three of them left the room, leaving the blocks scattered on the floor.
CHATBOT: Izzy and Mia were playing with their dolls when Mia's stomach started to grumble loudly. "I want sandwich!" Mia whined, tugging on Izzy's sleeve. Izzy shook her head. "No, Mia, we can't have sandwiches. Remember, I'm allergic to peanuts?" Mia's face scrunched up in confusion. "Fennuts?" "Peanuts," Izzy corrected, pointing to the jar of peanut butter on the counter. "I can't eat them or I'll get really sick." Mia pouted, still not understanding. "I want san'wich!" Their mother, Mrs. Rodriguez, came into the kitchen, seeing the girls were getting upset. "What's going on?" "Mia wants a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but I can't have peanuts," Izzy signed, gesturing to the jar of peanut butter. Mrs. Rodriguez nodded. "Okay, let's find something else for you to eat, Mia. How about a turkey sandwich?" "Tuckey san'wich!" Mia repeated, grinning widely. Mrs. Rodriguez took out the turkey and bread, starting to make the sandwich. Mia watched eagerly, trying to say the words as they came out. "Wher's mustard? I like muh-stard!" "That's mustard," Izzy corrected, tapping the bottle of mustard. Mia tried to say it, but it came out as "mur-der." Izzy giggled, clapping her hands together. Mrs. Rodriguez finished making the sandwich and gave it to Mia, who took a big bite. "Mmmmm, it's good!" she exclaimed, her mouth full. Izzy frowned, feeling left out. "What about me? Do I get a sandwich?" "Of course you do, honey," Mrs. Rodriguez said, making a ham sandwich for Izzy. Mia watched her sister eat, then signed to her. "Is it good?" Izzy signed back, "It's okay. I wish we could have had peanut butter though." Mia frowned, feeling guilty. "I saw the fennuts and forgot." "It's okay, Mia," Mrs. Rodriguez said, patting her on the back. "We'll just have to be more careful next time. And Izzy, you were very responsible and mature for speaking up about your allergy." Izzy beamed, feeling proud of herself. "Thank you," she signed. "I want to keep everyone safe."
