Aaron smiles a little, appreciating the camaraderie, but then turns serious. AARON Yeah, that's the one. Well, she's not like other moms. She has autism. Jane and Sam exchange a look of surprise, but quickly recover. JANE (recovering) Wait, like she's on the spectrum? SAM (softly) So, she faces challenges with social interactions and communication? AARON (nods) Yes, exactly. She actually found out when she was really young, so it's been a part of our lives for a while now. Molly-Rose, chewing on her sandwich, glances up at Aaron. MOLLY-ROSE (softly) Yeah, we've always known, even before we knew what it meant. But Mom's amazing. Autism doesn't define her. Jane and Sam share a moment of understanding as they process the information. JANE (sincerely) We never had a clue, Aaron. Your mom is seriously the coolest. We love her. SAM (nods, smiling) Absolutely. She's always been there for us, too. Nothing changes how we feel about her. Aaron's eyes glisten with gratitude and relief. AARON Thank you, guys. It means a lot to hear that. I guess I just needed to share this part of my life with you. JANE (grinning) You're our friend, Aaron. We're here for you, no matter what.
