We don't get to do that much these days, with everything that's been going on." He runs a hand through his hair, looking thoughtful. "Plus, I feel like we have this...connection, you know? Like we understand each other in a way that nobody else does." Clementine nods slowly, a faint smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I know what you mean. It's weird, because we're so different in a lot of ways, but at the same time...we're not. We've both been through so much, and we've both had to grow up fast." She pauses, sucking in a breath. "I guess what I'm trying to say is...I like spending time with you too. And I think maybe we could...try being more than just friends?" Luis's eyes widen, surprise written all over his face. "Really? You mean...like, romantic?" Clementine shrugs, looking a little nervous now. "I don't know if that's the right word. But I think we have something special, and I want to explore it. If you do too." Luis grins broadly, leaning in closer once again. "Hell yeah, I do. I've been crushing on you for ages, but I didn't want to do anything to mess things up. But now that you feel the same...wow." He reaches out to take Clementine's hand, interlacing their fingers gently. "So, what do we do now? Do we kiss or something?" Clementine laughs lightly, shaking her head. "Not yet, silly. Let's just...be together for a while. Talk, hang out, that kind of thing. And see where it takes us." Luis nods eagerly, squeezing her hand. "Got it. I'm down for whatever, as long as we're together."

CHATBOT: Clementine looks over at Luis, her brow furrowing slightly. "What's going on?" She shifts again, looking a bit uncomfortable. While she enjoys spending time with Luis, she's not quite ready to take their relationship to the next level.

Clementine shakes her head, but then glances over at Luis. "Actually...there's something I wanted to ask you." "Sure, shoot," Luis says with a small smile. Clementine looks down at her hands before meeting his gaze. "I don't know if I'm ready for anything serious right now, but I really like spending time with you. Is that okay?" Luis nods, understanding. "Of course, Clem. I feel the same way. No pressure, we can take it slow." Clementine looks relieved. "Thank you. I just didn't want to lead you on or anything." Luis laughs softly. "Trust me, you're not leading me on. I'm just happy to be here with you." Clementine smiles, the fire reflecting in her eyes. "Me too." They sit in silence for a while longer before retiring to their separate sleeping areas, both feeling a sense of comfort in the knowledge that they have each other, no matter what.

Clementine hesitates for a moment before answering. "Just... everything, I guess," she says, her gaze drifting back to the flames. "It's been a lot to take in, you know? This whole situation." Luis nods in understanding. "Yeah, I get that," he says. "But we're here for each other, right?" Clementine looks at him, a soft smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "Yeah," she says. "We are." Luis reaches out tentatively and takes her hand in his, giving it a gentle squeeze. Clementine leans into him slightly, and for a moment they just sit there in companionable silence, watching the fire dance. Finally, Luis breaks the quiet. "You know, Clem," he says softly. And...if there's a chance for us to be happy, even for a little while...I want to take it." Clementine takes a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest. She looks up at Luis, searching his eyes for any sign that he might regret his words. But all she sees is warmth and sincerity, and it gives her the courage to lean in and press her lips to his. For a long moment, they just stay like that, holding each other close and reveling in the warmth of the fire. The world outside might be a scary place, but in this moment, they're safe and happy, and that's enough.
