JASON Oh, it's nothing. Just daydreaming, I guess. ALAN Come on, it's gotta be about Savannah. I've seen you staring at her every lunch break! JASON blushes and looks away. JASON Maybe... SCHOOL GROUNDS - DAY JASON gathers his courage and approaches SAVANNAH, who is engrossed in a book under a tree. JASON (awkwardly) Um, hey, Savannah. Mind if I join you? As they chat, laughing and sharing stories, JASON's eyes wander toward a hidden patch of forest. There, he spots something gleaming amongst the trees. --- EXT. FOREST - DAY JASON cautiously enters the forest and discovers an abandoned robot named DUSTIE, covered in leaves. JASON Whoa, what are you? Are you okay? DUSTIE (quirky tone) Greetings, human companion! I am DUST-13, but feel free to call me Dustie. I was once a servant to humans, but now I'm just a pile of rust... or at least that's what they tried to make me. JASON (intrigued) You talk! How is that possible?
